Bad Customer ExperienceMy husband, and I, were at the checkout with the nine items pictured, and a large pail of litter. After the cashier put the 56 ounce bag of cat food (which is usually bagged alone), and the box of cat food, and two other items in the bag, I mentioned there was a tear forming.She said, “Ma, I’m gonna double bag it.”, as if I was annoying and should calm down.She continued to tell me that I should be glad I’m not in Chicago, IL, where there is a bag tax, and encouraged me to envision buying a lot of canned cat food and how much those bags would cost, as she continued to shove the other five items in the bag, and tie a knot. We were dumbfounded, because we were in Hobart, IN.We spent $79.24, at 5:46 PM, on 3/27. When we left our bag looked like we shopped at the second hand store. When we got home, I couldn’t get the bag opened. As pictured, the knot was so tight I had to cut the bag open.When a customer patronizes a business they deserve to be treated like a customer, not the mother of a smart mouthed, rebellious teenager. Unless you’re into being disregarded to the tune of having all the items pictured on my counter shoved in one bag, while being told to be glad you’re not in Chicago (while being treated like you’re in Chicago), then arriving home cutting open what looks likes a second hand store purchase, while paying full price, then you will not want to shop here.In the past I had my cat food, toys, etc., delivered to my door. Great customer service doesn’t get any better than that. In an effort to support local businesses I decided to stop purchasing everything at my favorite online retailer. My purchase at PetSmart was such an unnecessarily poor customer experience, I think I am going to go back to ordering pet supplies online. I like that level of service, it saves gas, time, and the added bonus is the company ensures I feel like a valued customer.

The cashier was very friendly did not rush me even when her line got more than a couple people. She calmly asked for assistance over the intercom system and someone opened another line. The pressure and embarrassment was nonexistent with the way the staff handle the situation. I was able ti get coupons and sign up for text alerts, at my own pace.

Grooming looks great on my dog but she brought fleas home from the groomers. No fleas then the next day after I picked her up she was scratching a lot and i checked her to find her head covered.$130 for grooming just to be in a worse situation than before….

My 8 yr German Shepherd has a large surgery this past Friday, thanks to the staff at Pet Smart I was able the get some things to help this Dog mom spoil her baby. Staff was great!

Petsmart was super clean. They were able to price match the online prices which is ideal. Staff were super friendly. They have many pet food and accessories to meet your pets needs. Make your animals smile, and shop at petsmart.

You carry the food my Dozer eats. Everyone is very helpful there. It's a fun place to shop, especially when you see some of the furry friends coming through.

My puppy Handsome had a pawsome grooming experience ❤ 🐾. He left so happy & so did I. Everyone was awesome & we will definitely be back. now he is home relaxing.P.S. A special special shout out to Hannah for helping me out on Handsome's harness. 😂

All there fish are diseased and sick. They die, you get a return,get more, and they die. The entire aquarium system they use is generating the water through all the tanks. Find a private small business fish store. There is one in Tinley Park IL. I can't remember the name, but I will be going there for my aquarium needs.

Before it was great. The groomers are usually so friendly today not so much to me or my pet. I felt uncomfortable with leaving my pet there today because of how the groomers were acting. They didn't do a good job with my pets grooming today either..

Love the girls in the grooming department, they take great care of my dogs. Even if they have to shave them down extremely low, they will give me a phone call before proceeding. They have great options of availability and they work very quick. I am extremely satisfied and will continue to bring my dogs here because the competition just does not cut it elsewhere.

Love this place. Lots to choose from.Was able to get in and out. Got some great deals. Went to get litter and food. Stopped by to see if any kittens were there for adoption. Only one little kitten but it smelled really bad in that room. Maybe they should clean it.

Great place, I buy all my aquarium fish and tanks there. They gave my wife a great deal on a octagon fish tank and it came with everything but the fish. Can't say enough about this place, get everything we need for our dog and fish tanks.

I walked into PetSmart past two employees talking to a female employee at the register and inadvertently went to the Bandfield pet hospital counter. The PetSmart employees saw me standing and said nothing as I waited for assistance. Sometime past anf a postman walked in and told me that counter was closed. When I went back and talk to the employees and explain to them I had an appointment for pet grooming they told me that they were closed on the weekends. After calling my wife and her insisted that I had an appointment it turns out I was at the wrong counter. Their staff is clearly more interested in flirting with the girl at the register then helping the customers.
