This one might not have the flashy storefront of the valpo one..... But Barbara did an awesome job on my old man Murray. Would totally recommend her, she listened to what i wanted and my concerns about my dog having terrible arthritis. Murray came out happy, cut super cute/ even, not limping, and no cuts. Will absolutely be booking her again and would recommend her to a friend.

The 1st groomer we had here was shaving our Pomeranian, per our request. However, being a professional I would expect them to know the dangers of shaving a double coated dog. Which they didn't, nor did they warn us about having it done. The 2nd groomer we had here gave my dog half a haircut. His bottom half was cut very nice and short but the top was like she didn't even touch it. His back hair was about 2" longer than the rest, as if they put his harness on in hopes we wouldn't notice. I complained and brought him back and was supposed to get a complete regroom. They had him done within an hour, which means. They definitely did not do his nails, anal glands, ears, bath, blow dry and haircut. I had to ask for her to cut more to make him look more even. I just gave him a haircut myself as a non professional and it looks better than the last two grooms I paid $75 for. So don't waste your money.

Came to this Hungry Hound in Hobart because the other one in st john didn't have no availability and even though it was a longer drive from our house it was worth it I think the did a very nice job on our dog we are very happy on the job they did especially we knew she had a lil bit of tangles in her hair we will probably keep bringing her back here it's worth the drive..

We’ve been utilizing Hungry Hound for a couple of years now. They are amazing! Our dogs love them! One of our dogs has really bad anxiety so we utilize the mobile grooming and he loves it!!!

Rachel was our groomer, she did such a phenomenal job on my Kai pie. It was his first groom, and I was so overjoyed when I saw him after! Thank you so much ❤️🐾🐶

This was my first time taking Rosy there. Thanks Mathew for being able to fit Rosy in today. Rosy & us approved. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the groomer's name but she did a very good job. Rosy looks very comfortable. Thanks again! We will be returning 😀

Have taken my chocolate lab puppy in twice to get groomed. First time he was nervous but the girls treated him very well. Also they sent me post cards and coupons with great deals in the mail.

Rachel has been grooming my standard Labradoodle and standard poodle for years and she does such a great job with them!! They both love going there+ they have all sorts of other great products and treats for your pets!! Highly recommended 🙌

Very friendly and professional. I was able to meet my puppy's groomer and view the environment where he would receive his first grooming and verified it's orderliness and cleanliness. I felt confident that Ike was in good, caring hands. They went above expectations and gave us a gift bag with some treat samples for our first visit.

The shop is so cute. There are plenty of snacks and dog foods to choose from as well as toys. The girl, Rachael was very good w my Larry. He just went in for a nail trim but they were wonderful w him.

This is by far the best grooming place I have ever been to. I have a poodle mix and he always turns out great— I can’t imagine how hard it must be to groom a poodle! The employees and groomers are always so nice and knowledgeable. Appointment confirmation calls are always done a few days before the appointment, which is a nice reminder. Again, the groomers are great and really know what to look for. I haven’t had the best experiences with grooming places for my dog; however, this place is very consistent. I do not think I could ever bring my dog to another grooming place since going here!

Bad bad! For second time they didn't finish the cut! Didn't touch the dog's face or head at all! They said he didn't cooperate?I am sure a lot of dogs get nervous they clearly don't know how to handle them.He has had it cut lots of times before!But, they were happy to still charge full price!Never going back.

They all we great. Bella are baby had a great spa day. They cut her hair just like we wanted it to look. Her nails were good length and ground very smooth. But the hair bows in her ears was the best thing ever. She was so pamper we are happy customers 😊

My Samson loves going to get groomed here and I feel good leaving him. Other places cage, here they don't which eases not only his stress but mine. Wonderfully caring staff, reasonably priced, and they truly love the dog clientele which is why we're repeat customers! Thanks ladies. The ladies here are absolutely amazing!!!!! Great energy and vibes. My pup's first time getting a haircut and I was so elated that he had no issues with being left with them! I dropped off my belgium travuren to these guys. I'll say that he's 11 and he looked every day of it. That plus sticky hands of 4 kids really matted my boy up. I told them I need the best they had and they delivered. Put dog in took about 2 and a half hour. Pricing blew me away I was ready to pay around 300$ for the condition he was in made it out under 100$. Will recommend this to all friends with any animals.
