Great fish , the place is a lot bigger than it looks from outside. Lots of antiques and older signs are all around. Very busy on Friday evening. Service was very good still. Only downside was that they are only open limited hours. Menu was pretty simple but I think it was mainly for the fish eaters. Locals have it figured out, good place to go.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The staff is wonderful. My uncle and I went for breakfast. They allowed substituting French toast (so good homemade batter) for the pancakes (which was nice because I always get French toast, most times I pay for pancakes I don't eat then pay for French toast) it come with 2 eggs, 4 pieces of bacon and I also got a side of hash browns. Their sweet tea is also so good I got a cup to go. Hands down great breakfast choice if you are ever out that way.Parking: Parking in front. I did not look anywhere else for parking. Located near a park (indian mounds) and the river.Kid-friendliness: Great rustic feel. Great place with or without children.

We don't normally like catfish but went and tried it, it was simply the absolutely the best catfish we have ever ate. We love the decor and atmosphere a very homey and country feel. They were very busy but had enough waitresses and cooks to do the job without a long wait and the staff was very friendly and we were well taken care of even though they were very busy.

Went to this cafe after being away for maybe 3 years. Went especially for the fish and was EXTREMELY disappointed. It was all crust and NO fish. It was like they cooked all the fish out of it,,,,,,,,,,, what little fish that their was in the beginning. Had the 3 piece meal and they said they were big pieces ,,,,,,,, well that was also not true as they knew they were small and I ended up with 4 pieces on the plate. I must admit the slaw and the baked potato were good.So in closing my trip tonight will be my last. A 35 minute drive of disappointment.$25.04 for the wife and I and the way I see it the sides and the drink is all I should have paid for at $7.50 TOPS. Well good luck patrons, remember to tell it like it is ,,,,,,,,,,,,,ALWAYS.

Great little local place with a neat atmosphere. Everything is home made, it is decorated nicely. If you want to go for a nice drive in the country and get away from the chains, this is a good place to try. Breakfast through the week and catfish dinners on Friday nights.

This was a great place to go it was a little out of the way real pretty scenery on merrim bluff plus they went out of their way to make sure that I had a good experience there the catfish was really good

Love our little town's diner! Fast friendly service and some our the best fish, burgers, and tenderloin sandwiches around! Meleah is a great lady and she is hard worker! Great job guys!

Had the Meleah Burger. 1/3 lb. Hand pressed ground beef with melted nacho cheese, sliced jalapenos, extra crispy bacon (yum) and a little barbeque sauce. Best burger I have ever had. Also ordered the fried mushrooms and Cole slaw and an unsweetened iced tea. My wife had a cheeseburger and fries and iced tea. 21 bucks for the lunch. Old building and nice people. It was perfect. I will be returning soon.

We took our 12 year old grandson for Meleah's Friday night catfish. The fish was good, with a lightly seasoned breading. There were several sides to choose from. We chose French fries for the guys, a baked potato for me, salads for my husband and me, and baked beans for our grandson. There were no complaints.
