First time out to this location, (Oaklandon, I believe) was quite a drive but I wanted to check it out, on the recommendation of a friend. It was decently stocked, there were some small areas of bare shelves, but not bad.The produce section was awful! Where the unpackaged veggies were it was DIRTY! Pieces of dead and rotted veggies hanging over the edge. Was gross! I didn't get any of that, I hope nobody else does either! I can't imagine someone putting fresh produce in something that clearly needed to be cleaned! Are these people trained? (Not that someone should have to be for that reason).Won't be making a return trip to this location.

Although they didn’t have the car seat I was looking for, an older lady who was on her lunch break spent 20 minutes of it helping me look for it. A younger man working near the section helped a lot as well and they were both very nice and attentive. I wish I would’ve gotten their names because they deserve recognition for their diligence in helping me on my wild car seat chase.

Always getting bad produce. Just yesterday got a bagged salad opening it today and it's brown. We live in Lawrence so I don't want to drive back to the store, like I've done before. Come on do better.

Long lines in both self checkout areas and only one register open at 5PM. This is ridiculous. Hire people, PAY PEOPLE LIVING WAGES AND GIVE THEM BENEFITS THEY CAN AFFORD

I had an unpleasant shopping experience that was cut short because I was being followed by loss prevention. It started while I was in the clothing section with my mother. Although the store doesn’t have fitting rooms, I was able to try on the two cardigans I bought. I saw the first LP person staring at me in the clothing section. I then went to the food area of the store to purchase pop tarts. After leaving, I saw the same man that was staring and following me with a shorter man who looked to have a headset hanging out of his tshirt. I caught them both staring at me then they kept walking. I stopped and started staring to see where they were going. They looked flustered when they turned around to see I was still staring at them and the taller one started talking about liquor and went down the aisle that had the packaged beer. I continued to follow them and stare to wait and see what their next move was. After awhile, I decided to find my mom and go home after feeling complete discomfort. I kept calling and went back to the clothes to find her and didn’t see her. I then found the two men again, made eye contact and they dispersed as one went to “purchase” the beer and the other walked away to the front of the store. After purchasing my items like I always do, I went to customer service where the lady looked at me and said “we’re closed.” I told her I needed contact information to make a formal complaint. She called someone and Ellen came to the front. Ellen asked what my complaint was and was no help. I gave her a play by play and all she said was “we don’t have dressing rooms, how did you try clothes on.” As I continued my story, she said “we’ll check the cameras because there was no call over the phone for LP to be following anyone.” I asked her if she didn’t believe me since she said there wasn’t a formal complaint. I then thanked her for confirming that there were two LP men working and Ellen felt the need to clean it up by saying “we’ve always only had men LP employees.” I asked her what will be done to ensure my complaint makes it past tonight. She didn’t ask me for my name, phone number or provide an actionable follow up plan. As a loyal customer and former employee, I encourage you to not only train all managers and customer service employees basic communication skills. I felt dismissed, ignored, unsafe and felt as if i don’t feel comfortable shopping here again. Ellen simply said “I'm sorry this happened.” That doesn’t change how your customers feel. Terrible job done and shame on you Ellen, and LP for making assumptions and dismissing a paying customer.

Gone downhill. From overwhelmed and overworked pharmacy, to not limiting self checkout quantity so it's just as slow, and the 3 quick checkout stations being constantly down, what does this place have that's going right?I hope the employees find other places to work that pays them better as well. It's not their fault Meijer isso unequipped

Prices keep jumping. I'm pretty sure that's everywhere. But I live next door and Meijer is my go-to! Always clean, and employees are always helpful!

This store allows dogs to be in the grocery carts even if the dog is not a service dog! We witnessed this several times in the food area. A complaint was made to the manger but said he could do nothing. Do you want to be putting your food into a cart for your groceries that may have had a dog?

They have lots of nothing. Let's start with potato chips. See picture. I wanted to have a baked potato with dinner but they say that they don't know when they will come. I decided to try O,Bryan's they didn't even know what that was. They only have organic mushrooms? The only reason I gave them 2 stars is the lunch meat aisle was a mile long. The staff are not friendly. The only one was the greater when you came through the door.

These folks do a great job. The addition of the many new full cart self checkouts solve the problem of not being able to get cashiers and allow you to get in an out. Many thumbs up 👍

The Meijer store I frequent is always clean and well stocked. Sales and Meijer points helps me get money off on gas purchases at the Meijer Gas Station. I appreciate the help we receive from Customer service and other associates. It's a pleasure to shop at Meijer.

Quality of items has gone way downhill. You have to meticulously check your produce. I’ve seen rotten fruits and veggies just hanging out. I’ve gotten garlic cloves that were rotten so many times now that I will not buy anymore from this location. Items are often out of stock. With the remodel of the checkout I wish they would at least offer larger checkout areas. The space is tiny for those who have fill carts of groceries. If you don’t do the self checkout prepare to wait and you’ll have to bag your own items. You pay more to shop here to have a better experience but it’s turning into another Walmart.

Meijer the store(s)as well as it's employees have always been helpful and kind making for a wonderful shopping experience. They welcome everyone equally and I never have felt unwelcome or judged I definitely recommend them for your next shopping sojourn

Curbside pickup orders provide short dated inventory, comprised quality, literally one day from the trash. These pre-paid items are brought to your car. Unpacked at your house with near days expiration dates, some the next day. Can goods near expiration and almost look rusted. I spoke to the store Director, Trent, who stated he was new to the Mccordsville store from Avon store location. I shared wirh him my concern with receiving short dated product and that it is counterintuitive to pickup groceries at curbside for convenience and need to walk all these items back into the store for exchange or refund. I told him that Target offers electronic returns via their app with the reason for the return and option to upload pic. Item does not need to be returned but refund is provided. Trent, took my full name and offered to provide a refund. He agreed that I should not received these items. However, he did not keep is word and no refund has been received. We have tried pickup curbside side orders 3 times at this Meijers location and it's a sadly NO GO.

Good food and clean place. Also has good service. Very clean, organized and Plenty of products. I was able to find everything I needed and wanted. I was able to get in and out on one of the busiest days of the year(resurrection weekend). Best place to shop. Meijer has not changed. It is still the cleanest, well stocked, competitive price and the most organized place to shop.

The lack of shopping carts seems to have been solved, though there is more space for prepared food and servings than for ingredients. It's hard to get basic ingredients like soy beans or ricotta cheese, or anything other than basic stuff. The aisles are set up a bit odd. I think the Pendleton Pike location has a much better selection of items. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of the self checkout stations are almost always out of order towards the end of the day. Overall, I think management should be paying attention to recurring issues, and stock common items rather than focus on single use, plastic wrapped items.

Love the selection. Hate the long pharmacy wait. You've got to do something about your Pharmacy. It's slow and painful, every time. Not sure why the prices are higher than Kroger when your pharmacy is so abysmal. Produce and grocery is more expensive than Kroger. But love the atmosphere and customer care.
