We were absolutely blown away by Maxwell Meats! All locally sourced meats, stunning packaging and labels, excellent pricing, a super clean store and best of all the friendly and welcoming staff! The portion sizes varied from large family down to single person servings which is also great when I'm shopping for my family along with my mom who lives alone. We will be exclusively buying our meat here from now on!

The past 2 times in the afternoon male waited on me and I asked if I could get a Flank steak ran through the tenderize and he stated no, they were grinding meat in the back. He did not check with people in the back like previous employees did as I have had this done in the past. I also asked if I could get boneless pork ribs and he said you can order but in past other employee would ask and they did it while I was there. I can go to Wal-Mart and get boneless pork ribs but I like their quality of meat and service in the past.

Great selection of meats and seafood. Good, friendly butcher shop. 4/5 only because they make sandwiches on site but use standard white/wheat bread, while their counter banner shows crusty rustic breads. It’s a little disappointing. But I love seeing another local butcher shop come around.

Very nice butcher shop! A very large selection of frozen and fresh meats. They also carry boars head lunch meat and cheeses. Very clean and the prices are reasonable. They also do meat processing. Nice to have a local shop that caters to our community.

I ordered sliders, fruit, and pasta salad from Maxwell Meats for over 100 people. The order was accurate and it was ready on time. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful.

I harvested a deer after opening weekend of gen season. I called all the big local shops in the area and all were booked. After seeing several posts online with other hunters who were panicked a friend of mines girlfriend found out about maxwell meats and called and they were happy to take not only my deer but my buddies deer as well. I received all my meat within 2 1/2 weeks of dropping off my deer and when we pulled in and dropped them off the employees were amazing to work with and when I picked it up they met me out back calling me by my first name like they had known me there whole life. To top it off the packaging maybe the best packaging I’ve ever had. And the meat needs absolutely nothing except thawed and cooked. It’s trimmed perfectly from all cuts and was extremely impressed. I won’t hesitate to bring back another deer in the future.

We support local this place seems great at first fair price seems clean and the staff was friendly however...the women who helped us got out fresh sirloin and raw steaks for us and DID NOT change her gloves before proceeding to slice cheese I asked her to change them and she did but then rang us up and ran the register with her gloves on. A big red flag
