I literally just left the store at approximately 5:30 p.m. today (3/11/2024). For some odd reason, the young lady cashier forgot to ring up the Reese's breakfast bars, the Cosmic brownies (family pack), and a few other items that I know for a 100% fact that I sat on the checkout counter. I didn't even realize that those items were not in any of my yellow Dollar General bags until I got home. The items were not on my receipt because she never even rang them up, and I didn't leave the items in the cart either.Also, anytime I buy heartburn medicine from Dollar General, the pills are frequently smashed. When I open the bottles, there is always a powder like substance in the bottles, and several pills are busted open.

There is alot of stock there! Its pretty clean and things r easy to find. I went to the $1 aisle and was gonna buy 3 bottles of mean green since they were$1. Turned out they werent they were shelved wrong so the boss on shift did give me 1 for the $1. I didnt buy as many as i planned but it was nice that he let me get one of them for the $1.

Horrible place. Since the manager decided to not try to make this customer happy at all then told me I was not welcome, nor was I welcome to come back to the store. All because I could not understand why a 3 for $12 sale could not be honored, Instead of trying to explain the reasoning he immediately became rude, laughed in my face when I explained that I just wanted him to honor the shelf tag. then once we were finishing the return, he did not want to hand me back my original receipt. Lastly, when i gathered my bags, I thanked him for his time, he said I was not welcome. Then turned around and continued with "and your not welcome back in this store either." I am so angry with this manager and this store in general. They have all their prices marked differently then what is listed online, and the coupons never work for me or anyone else I know. I will never shop there again. I have also let my family know in four other states that they should probably go shop at Family dollar instead and I hate that place just as much. But I refuse to give money to this store ever again. Close it down, the employees hate their jobs, and the store is nasty. Plus there was no heat in this store tonight and it is 32 degrees.

Something has happened to this store. It used to be the nicest of the Dollar General stores in Marion. The floor is disgustingly dirty and worn, and there is an overwhelming smell in the whole place—it smells like chemicals and almost makes you feel sick. I think I need to shop elsewhere.

Store is always clean, easy to find everything. If they have it, it's on the shelves, not on those large, always in the way metal carts like most other stores I've been too. Staff is always friendly and helpful, never a long wait in line no matter how busy.

Went there today for some boxes the blonde lady (the general manager) was very very rude to me told me “i guess you can go ahead and take them even though i didnt allow you to” she has an attitude problem and if she is that miserable and hates her job that much maybe she should consider a different job! Very unprofessional

I was in this store shopping today. It seemed as though an employee/vendor came in to work on a display. I was standing in proximity to the register when I heard them speaking. I'm going to assume she was asking the manager (middle aged man, on the taller side, graying hair, clean cut) what needed to be done. The manager started yelling at her about how he wasn't going to let her stock the dairy display??? Then he said something about how she just needed to go in the back and find sunglasses to put out. I'm not sure what it was all about but to hear a store manager openly berate an employee is bad business. I did notice that he was the only employee in the store and he was stuck at the register. Maybe he thinks it's beneath him to ring up customers. But now I understand why he doesn't have an employees. This store is not pristine and needs all the help it can get. I refuse to shop in a store that allows upper management to treat it's employees badly. You've lost my business Dollar General.

I have been charged for items that I that were not my items as well as not taking the instant coupon ($1.00) off the Airwick freshener sprays. They cost $5.00. I've been having trouble with being charged for 2 items (I purchased the bags of assorted sponges) and didn't even get the other pack when I took my receipt in to fix the situation. I'm not continuing to shop at a store that is unorganized, cashiers do not pay attention when ringing up my merchandise and they seriously lack a friendly attitude towards customers.

This store is still extremely dirty and poorly stocked. It's actually worse then the last time I stopped by there. Floors are filthy and every shelf except for the holiday decoration aisle is pathetic. It appears they need new management.

Convenient for when you just need a few things and don't want to go all the way across town to Walmart! Pretty well organized and well stocked. Better than the other DG in Marion! Open 8am til 10pm, a plus!

I will say I normally love to wonder in this store to just look at everything but one particular day I had to hear a cashier complaining about what people use their foodstamps on smh. I work in retail and that is not proper conversation for employees and customers to have especially when you're not the only one in the store. Then she walked away and I stood waiting for her to put away products and giggle with another employee to where I had to say... um ma'am. #Disappointed

The manager, Kim, is rude and not that brightest crayon in the box. Brought our own balloons and string and she was everything but cheerful. When we got out balloons she didn't even tie the string on. She just put them all inside of dollar general bags for us to attach the sting to. Luckily none of the balloons escaped when we re-opened the bag to tie the strings on....

Very dirty can't find nothing .Sked teller where paper players were she says look in the dollar isle. Well honey if I'm asking it's because I've never been here before .and she walks me off..these young kids are terrible with manners...

The cashier was absolutely horrible.... very rude.... bit my head off for putting my card in while she was still ringing up my items .... even though it's my card and I'm pretty sure I know how to use it.... had no issues with it paying she still was the most unprofessional person I've dealt with in a long time

I love this new Dollar General in Hartford City. I refuse to shop at the old now. The people are pleasant the store is well organized. And the manager is really nice.

One day when I was there, one of the managers were talking to the employees stocking items and he was being overly rude. The regular employees though are great.
