Every time I come here I regret it. But, it's close so I keep trying. I don't know who is in charge of ordering but they need to learn how to correctly. The overstock of pillows, shower curtains, etc that is overflowing yet somehow STILL being ordered is madness. The food shelves are usually half empty, produce is typically rotten, I have to move stocking carts myself to get the things I need. The employees vape inside the building. The manager should be fired for allowing this nonsense.

This store is just as bad as the other one n English IND.. same thing u can't even get ur buggy down the isle it's like a maze n there it's dirty n only 2 employees n u stand n wait for someone to checkout but there usually outside smoking 🚬 n look like there on meth high . It's ridiculous nasty store . N n the summer time u see dog's cat's goat's running around inside the store . This needs to be cleaned up n new manger n re origanzed n new workers who knows how to work n keep store running n clean it doesn't even deserve 1 Star.Ugghg 😠🤧... Not going back to store anytime soon....

Had to use self check out due to card reader being down, self check out didn't recognize some of my food items as food stamp approved when they are food items! Couldn't get through hardly any of the aisles. Cashier was very rude about sending me and the customer behind me to self check out. If you send someone to self check out make sure the self check out functions properly! I hate even being upset about this but seems like every time I try to give this place another chance it gets worse.

Although I don't generally like dollar stores, this was an exception. The prices were great, and the selection was better than I expected. The lady at the checkout was very kind and was more concerned about customers than getting her paycheck. The store itself wasn't so clean, as there was some dirt on the floor and some water in the dog food isle. Best dollar store ever.

Place is very, very dirty. Not very stocked on snacks and junk. Service was great, but the reason I give it a 3 star is because the produce fridge is shut down and all of the bananas are ROTTEN. PURE BLACK

Glad to have a place locally to buy the goods, but this place has such bad service I'll drive miles out of my way to avoid the hassles. With my last visit there, in February, I encountered a group of girls smoking in the doorway, blocking people, keeping the automatic doors from closing and no one from the store said anything to them. Smoke wafted in generously.Inside, the checkout line continued to grow as I shopped for a couple items. By the time I was in line, I could see the problem was in large part due to the cashier not getting the coupons from the customer's phone to ring in correctly. Two cashiers were trying things, one showing the other, so you would think this is yet another training day here. Then one cashier walks out of the store on her phone only to be replaced by one of the girls from out front in the smoking group. While the two cashiers work with their customer,an obvious friend of theirs, the cashier who left on her phone returns and get in line in the front of the line. She's next at the register that has been open but unattended all this time. She tells her friends in line how she kind of works here but has been fired. Yet, she was a part of that smoking group when I first arrived a half hour ago.Eventually one of the cashiers goes out front and returns with the manager, who was the oldest woman in the smoking group. She sees what is going on and joins in with the coupon search. Eventually the last of the smoking girls comes in, regretful that she has to get back to it and ring up sales, and we proceed to move through the one cash register that is being operated. That cashier was very friendly with each customer she rang up and enjoyed many good conversations while I waited.My own transaction took less than a minute because I didn't share my day's experiences, and I knew how to use the debit card reader. The lady who was holding up the line when I first arrived was trying to work the reader at her register as I left.Btw, I wore my mask the entire time. The employees didn't because they had to laugh loudly and smoke, and the customer who tried so hard to save herself 20 cents with no regard for other shoppers can't be expected to do her part in county wide masking efforts.I hate going to that store every single visit.Maybe I've learned my lesson this time. In my opinion, it's really not worth the hassle to shop there.

With this virus going on, we don’t get to go to Corydon a lot. So we end up doing a lot of shopping at this location. They are close, and very friendly when we come in to shop. The manager Cory is so nice and welcoming. Thanks guys, and keep up the great work.

The employees are super friendly and ready to help if you need anything. I'm a regular at my local Dollar General, I'm there at least once if not twice a day. The employees are practically family lol

We always find everything we need when we go here. The service is great! The only thing they seem to run out of is eggs. But they are always fresh when they have them! This is a great place to stop and get thise small grocery items on yoyr way home (like milk and eggs).

I was in the Dollar General in Marengo, Indiana. Yesterday morning/afternoon around 11:30. The employees were both very helpful and courteous. The clerk was was very customer friendly. She empathized with my son who has a terrible sunburn. She even told him how to relieve the pain. She wished us a beautiful day and we were on our way in good time. Sorry, I didn’t get the name of the other employee who took my son to the art aisle, something some stores don’t do anymore. I will definitely shop there again because the store was clean and the staff very good.I just want to recognize one of Dollar General’s employee’s for going the Extra Mile to solve my problem. The employee’s in Marengo, Indiana at Dollar General store are very helpful. This young woman went out of her way to help my son with an issue that I was trying to solve for several days. It is refreshing to talk to an employee that is willing to take the time to see what the problem is and then help me solve it. I just want to bring this to the attention of The Dollar General management for her excellent service. Plus it would be nice if Dollar General had some way to give a Good employee a compliment.Useful Employees + Clean + Easy To Locate Items

Its a great place to pop into when you need a few items. They seem to have just about 1 of everything. Friendly service and the prices are not out of line.

This store is stocked amply with grocery items. The freezer section has a good selection of pizza and sandwiches. Drinks are in good supply and the Staff are friendly.

They have a small Clearance Cart, the sign reads 50% off yellow star toys. I was purchasing 2 of those toys. The assistant manager says no it's buy one get one half off. So I showed her the handwritten sign. She points to the initials BOGO...... Which I didn't know what that meant. So yea, they should make the letters spelled out. False advertising in my opinion.

As far as a Dollar General goes it was pretty good. The staff was friendly and the store was decently stocked. I wouldn't mind shopping there again.

Cluttered. To many displays in middle of ailes making it hard to get around. A lot of product with no price . Seems that no one keeps up with date on product. Out of date juices plus refrigerated foods

The Marengo store was much better than the Georgetown store. The associates were very helpful and offered fast & friendly service.
