Trying to avoid frustration, I called to make absolutely sure they could take a new patient, that they could fill my script and that I could pay out of pocket, BEFORE SENDING ANYTHING. I have always used Walgreens for this same prescription, this one is just closer to home. Thats the only diffrence. Once they received my prescription, and rejected it, I spoke with the same guy. I was told that it is illegal to pay out of pocket at Walgreens, and that any location will reject it for not using your insurance. Just go somewhere else if you expect your pharmacist to be more knowledgeable that you are. Or to be at all accountable.

I ordered photos online, received an email saying the order was ready to be picked up. Once I arrived, the photo center informed me that they were out of paper. So no photos. I received a second email two days later saying pictures were ready, so I decided to call first, before driving again, only to speak to someone rude and snarky, letting me know my photos were in her hands. Whatever happened to good customer service?!

the pharmacy had quite a wait and they didn't have the right info for one of my prescriptions. they said it didnt have any more refills on it but when i asked my dr. he said it has just as many refills as yhe rest of my prescriptions.

I came here looking for Reese's Christmas Trees. Most places were sold out a month ago. They had several. The Associates at this Walgreens have always been very polite, friendly, & they are willing to help & they know where the products are. Several stores in this area employ people that don't know where things are & they pass the buck as in it's not my job or area. I don't care whose job it is, get a sales person over here or a manager. They go to get someone & you never see them again. Thank you Walgreens for hiring people that have a work ethic.

I completely understand rules and procedures. So when I call the pharmacy, and the technician tells me my prescription is due to be filled on the 11th I plan on getting there at 9 am, when they open and p/u. Wednesday morning I stop in on the 11th to pick up said prescription, only to be told it won't be ready until10:30. Thats 1.5 hours to fill a prescription that was called in a week prior. I feel even more upset when I overheard the lady helping customers at the window say their prescription will be ready in 30 minutes. What gives? I can only assume some of the employees are uninformed on policy and procedure. Come on Walgreens, get it together. Ifeveryone knows and practices the policy it keeps customers from writing negative reviews. Unhappily waiting at Walgreens.🤮

The pharmacy is getting into a groove since the pharmacy is closed Saturday and Sunday. Seems to be running better with closing on the weekends. Maybe it should stay this way. Just more positive and less stressful.

Pharmacist treated me like I was a druggy. I called to check on my perscription after getting a voicemail that i couldn't underatand. She refused to fill my out of state prescription! I transferred it from Kroger to wait for it to be ordered in to be told you never transferred it to begin with?? Wish you wernt over 2/3 the cost cheaper. :( Very disrespectful over migraine medication!

I have had nothing but trouble getting prescriptions. I am almost out of insulin, and the Madison pharmacy is closed a couple random days a week. I am definitely changing to a different store!

Most of the staff are kind and polite but some are very rude. Very clean environment but sometimes poor at calling in prescriptions.

There is nothing outstanding about this location, you can find simple things like you would expect at Walgreen. The location is easy to miss and not easy to get into, but it is fine.

I get mine and my daughter there they always really nice and right by circle k love it they will ask you ifyou have taken meds before and ask if you have any questions

This Walgreens has the worst pharmacy in the country. The pharmist is rood, and has a god complex.Avoid Walgreens in madison at all costs!
