Great location, fun open air area nestled between buildings, and cool trailer where it all happens.The ice cream itself is the small batch icy (vs creamy) type with chunks of fruit in it and unique often subtle flavor. It also is not the over the top flavorful kind of ice cream. If you need what has become common, almost candy in flavor, this will not be for you. Think honest homemade and this is what you get here.My only complaint were the spoons. We always order our ice cream in cups and they were so weak they bordered on useless. It is possible they had run out and bought cheap ones but I do not know. The cones did look great as an option though.

This please.... is a true diamond in the rough.It's literally an old converted bus!!With outdoor space and a stage for live music.They pride themselves on their non preservative all natural home made ice cream. I got a waffle cone with chocolate toffee and black raspberry chocolate... they are both delicious but I can honestly say I've NEVER seen a real black raspberry in my "black raspberry" ice cream until today!!!It was magical lol. I got whole raspberries!!The life music was great. The band came and mingled afterwards.Highly recommend.

Had a lovely evening with my daughters last night at Sallies. Ice creams are amazing along with their other side items. Wait is very reasonable and the staff are all courteous. Owners Sallie and Brent are awesome people. Very glad to have them in our community!

Cute and lovely ice cream stop! Employees are very sweet and are quick. I got the sweet and salty sundae. They take card and cash. They also have a lovely sitting area set up outdoors.

Wonderful boutique business to have in Madison! Owners are lovely people sourcing the best and local products. Ice creams are handmade with milk from northern Indiana dairy farms. Stop down this summer for a truly unique experience!

Okay, this place is WONDERFUL. Themed in a vintage style and served out of a refurbished vintage blue camper, Sallie's Small Batch Ice Cream frequently has live music on weekends beneath their string lights, and you'll see locals swinging in to grab a treat on their evening walks.This is a fun spot to try on a warm summers evening to get some freshly made ice cream in many classic flavors such as cherry, chocolate, strawberry, trusty vanilla, or banana depending on what is in season. They also serve delicious malts and shakes along with banana splits and sundaes!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious ice cream made for a wonderful Saturday night. We chose this spot for a special moment, our 2 year olds first ice cream, ever. He's now hooked!

Such a cute way to make an alley look nice and inviting. I had the banana split sundae which was delicious! I especially loved the strawberry ice cream in it. The strawberry ice cream was so rich and flavorful!

We have so much fun stopping in for a cup of one of their amazing flavors. Enjoying the adorable decor and snapping cute pics. The employees are great and we ALWAYS love the music playing. I send so many out of town people here when I see them going for ice cream elsewhere.

The young ladies doing the service are courteous. Ice cream tasted very good. Tables have some shade so you can eat here, walk downtown a block away, or down to the river.

Excellent! Cute 50’s themed ice cream truck with lovely picnic tables for seating. Truly fantastic ice cream. Servings are generous and the ladies in charge were wonderful ambassadors. Definitely recommend!!!!!!

A very unique ice cream spot based on a vintage travel trailer in a small empty lot one block south of Main Street. The owner's have done a wonderful job turning the lot into a cozy environment. Also serves hot dogs in addition to ice cream treats.

Love Sally’s the ice cream is wonderful ,refreshing always hits the spot! YUM !!! The other thing about Sally’s that is a big plus they are so friendly! The owners always speak and smile and the kids who work there are the best. Let’s just say it’s a treat all the way around!!! Keep up the good work!!

Small ice cream parlor sitting between two taller buildings in a camper. Nice people waiting on you and enjoyed the ice cream and the visit. Pay attention or you could miss this location as you drive by. We will be back.

Delicious homemade ice cream. The orange pineapple had chunks of fruit in it. The trailer, tables and chairs are nestled between 2 buildings, you won't see it until you walk by.
