Recently got a Pink-Toe Tarantula here and for something like that it was pretty inexpensive! Got the cage and the tarantula together, the man helped me figured out the stuff I would need to start off. When it came time to re-up on crickets the lady called me and was so sweet! She taught me even more about my new friend. Love this place! Hope they get bearded dragons sometime this year, boyfriend wants one! <3

I've only been to this store one time since it has opened. I got a turtle (really my 8 year old did) and didn't know much about them so I googled and found they eat vegetables, fruit and worms. So I went here hoping they had something for it. As soon as I walked in the lovely Lady who works there greeted me and asked if I needed any help I said no thank you and started looking around. I was shocked I didn't think they had so much stuff there. Not only did this woman help me find turtle food but she also helped me find ear mites medicine for my cat that I can't find anywhere else. She didn't have turtle experience herself but she answered my questions the best she could and then when the guy who works here came in she told me that he was the person to ask since he had reptiles himself. Great experience in the store and really friendly workers there.

The guy working was great came and greeted us. Then let us shop with out bother,when me or my husband had questions he helped us. Tge petsense worker was a great in every way . Prices were decent to and plenty of options for 🦎 lizards what pet I was buying for. I checked out dog area also so many choices. Loved it .

The workers are always welcoming and helpful. Have great pet products at decent prices. My only complaint would be 80% of the store is catered towards dog products and 10% towards cat products. The cat area is only 1 isle and the other side of it is only half cat food half dog food. I wish they had a bigger selection for cats. But overall an awesome place with awesome service

Certain staff members are better than others. They're dog and cat aisles are amazing. However, they need to step it up in the amphibians department. They're usually out of stock and I end up buying from Amazon. Asked a worker if she knew when they'd be getting something in and she responded with "whenever it gets here"

We have been on their "reward program" and used it every time we have bought dog food. The only reason we shop here is because of this so-called reward program.We were told the last time that our next bag would be 'free'. I went in 2 weeks ago to get our dog food, they didn't have the brand we needed, so I grabbed a smaller bag and told them I didn't want to use my reward yet. The cashier said it was on there and I could use it next time. We just went in (our brand STILL isn't in stock) got up to the front with one bag to purchase and our free bag and the cashier told us she couldn't give us our free bag, only 25% off. It showed in their system that we never used it. Keep your free bag, because we will be buying our all of pet care products somewhere else now!

I go here rarely. I like to see the rescues and play with them with my twins. I often come just to buy cute accessories for my dogs. Treats , or fish items but they are extremely expensive here. So it's only when I cant find it elsewhere it just want it . They have the best selection of breeder Bettas for at least 50 miles. The staff can be a little rude. Handed them a sick fish and the person did t nothing. this is the first time I had a ride staffer and I hope she isnt there anymore. I took him home because they wouldn't help him and hes okay now. Swimming upright and beautiful. Nice place just expensive

Love this place! I can go in and get what I need and pet some cute cats available for adoption from the shelter. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly.

Things and people aren't organized. Nobody is ever at the register and when you are waiting for them, they come up in their own sweet time and make you feel like you are bothering them. Hopefully, I never have to ask for help. Lighten up, people! Try a smile, a thank you or just a hi.

PetSense is wonderful! They have a wide selection of everything you could need for your pet, even for birds and reptiles. Prices are a bit high, but not bad. They also have a food program; when you buy so many bags you get one free.My family adopted one of their cats. He's one of the best cats I've ever owned. The cats come from the Scott County animal shelter and are already spayed/neutered and up to date on their shots. The ones I've met (including ours) are all very friendly because the lady at Scott County takes very good care of them.

Store is clean and well kept. The selection on some things is slim but that's expected for the area. Love seeing the adoptions happening also. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and prices are fair.

Affordable grooming options and lots of specials. I had Butch groomed each Sunday. Asha, did such such a wonderful job. Butch liked seeing her. She required him to attend commands, and I loved that. We will miss her.

Poor management. Had a 9 am appointment for dog bath. Staff was a no show. Had substitute manager.....had no idea about my appointment, no way of contacting staff(phone #s). Said most everyone was out due to Covid related issues of a staffer. After 6 months of Covid....you'd think they would have contingency plans.

Good selection of pet supplies. No one else in town carries supplies for exotic pets. My only complaint is that their prices on staple items are much higher than other stores in the area, so I shop here for specialty items, but they almost always have what I need.

Walked in the lady rolled her eyes and said hey, had my puppy and my children with me. My kids stayed by my side and my dog was a leash, didn’t ask to help us or anything which is fine I can normally find what I’m looking for. Got up to the register because I still couldn’t find what I’m looking for, it was right as soon as you walk in but I had three kids and a dog I was trying to make sure had made it in. I asked and she pointed to the area and was likes it’s right there and rolled her eyes again. Anytime we walked past her she rolled her eyes some more, I’m sorry but I won’t be back there again. I always go there because I have a very spoiled cat and we got a puppy so we went to get her some stuff but obviously not from here. I’d much rather just make the drive to Louisville or Florence and get her stuff.

Feeling very cheated and lied to by this store. I signed up for the buy 10 get the 11th bag of dog food free rewards program. The last 3 trips to the store the cashier indicated that the next bag we bought would be the free bag...so this time when the cashier told us that it wasn't the free bag, we left the bag at checkout and went to Tractor Supply Company and found the same bag of dog food $7 cheaper. We won't be back.

The person working there was a slow moron when asked if they had cat treats she took me to cat nip and before I left the store I found them on an endcap at the front of the store. When I told her she goes oh I just put them there yesterday. How stupid can you be. She needs to go nextdoor to Planet fitness, maybe she could move a little faster then.

I set an appointment up 2 weeks in advance and then I get a call a few hours before the grooming appointment saying to not bring my dog in. He said the groomers will be out for the next two weeks, possibly longer. I will for sure not be setting up an appointment with them again! Not reliable at all according to other reviews as well.
