I went yesterday morning to do some coupons, first I went to self check out but had issues with it scanning my coupons then the nice lady with the long hair helped me move everything to her cash register and rerung up my order, she got all of my coupons to attach! She is always so helpful when I'm in your store, definitely one of your best! This is my favorite dollar general hands down

I like the dollar isle it's always got neat stuff you want and can use. The bras are comfortable for $5and the haircare is good variety. A little bit of everything

It's convenient. We have no grocery store downtown so there's not much of a choice. I'm grateful the Dollar General sells cold & frozen food now. It seems there's always big carts of stock in the way in the aisles. I think for the cashier's sake, trying to keep up with the customers & trying to put stock on the shelves, it would be better for everyone if there were a night person to put up stock when the store is closed. There would be a lot less confusion, more room to move around & make the store look better. I bet they could get it done a lot faster too.

It's a good store, of course prices here are going to be a little more expensive on certain things but the staff is always really nice and it's always fast and easy

Our DG is wonderful! The employees are always friendly and helpful. They are also very knowledgeable about the inventory they carry. You can tell how dedicated they are my house clean an organized their store is.

They need more checkout lanes, there are only 2 and often only one employee checking customers. It seems like employees are overworked. The store is stocked well and they have great prices and sales on clothes. Many of us go there to avoid Walmart.

The cashier was very friendly and very helpful. When I explained that we was not from the area and that we actually was visiting from Brandenburg, KY area and was looking for Wal-Mart in order to purchase a phone card for my husband's phone she explained very simple directions for me on where the Wal-Mart was and after talking for a minute longer I found out that she herself was from Brandenburg, KY.Job well done to the Employees at this Dollar General...

I am at this location at least 4 or more times a week. The staff is ALWAYS polite and helpful, even through this whole Covid-19 period we've been going through! Which says alot. They've kept things stocked as best they can. I personally have seen the staff sanitizing things. Which also says alot! This is my favorite DG store location in Madison, they're attitude is what keeps me coming back! Great job guys and girls!!

A clean store and polite staff makes this my go to spot to shop for snacks and milk. Milk is 1.25 ALL the time. Would easily get 5 stars if they had more employees to open more registers.

The best DG in Madison hands down. The selection and prices are about the same, but the people are a huge difference. Not only are the staff members way nicer and faster at checking out customers, the people that come in the store are less likely to be junkies and undesirables. I really hate trying to save a buck on cleaning supplies and having to brush elbows with junkies, so this store is definitely preferable to the other two stores in town. I'll continue shopping here when I need cleaning supplies 😉

It is very close too me and I'm disabled, so it's so much easier than having to make my way through a big store. Their process are right in there with the bigger stores. A lot of times they're lower. 😀

Friendly elderly lady behind the register, and a hard worker too. They have just about anything you need, but are definitely short staffed. Visit here many times, always a good visit.

Big store with a lot more than other Dollar General stores. Almost a full grocery and they do carry alcohol. The staff that I have dealt with were all happy to help me find anything even if they're busy!

Was poorly stocked and like all stores the aisles were impassable due to boxes or pallets of boxes. Cluttered aisles and empty shelves do not increase sales, a clean store with passable aisles do.

Left 4 cans if soup realized it ince I got hime phone busy for over an hour. Called another D.G store 3 miles away 2 see if they had another phone number was told she didn't have time to talk 2 me. Lol No more of my business!!!

I found everything I went for quickly. The prices were low and the cashier was very pleasant. I go to this store frequently for these reasons. I recommend Dollar General for a quick, go-to store.

The last several times I've tr tried to run in and grab a few things they've not had what I need and then the line has been worse than Walmart! I guess I might as well just go to Walmart.

It's a very busy place my only complaint is there so much stock on carts in the oil in the aisles you can't see the product or you have to move a cart to get to it but it's a very nice store

Went in just for coffee creamer! But ended up getting more than that. Pleasantly surprised by the name brand options they had and it was the same price or less than "Walmart "!

While this isn't the best place you'll ever shop, it can be a decent one. I was helped by Jared and he was incredibly helpful and kind, making this retail experience one of the better ones I've had.

This location is ok. Plenty of parking, staff is very nice. Its needs to be cleaned up. 100 % better then the downtown Madison location.
