The doctors and support staff I have encountered here with my German Shepards have been nothing but kind. Very knowledgeable people, easy to get into with the option to check-in through the app and just all around great place. The prices are reasonable and the facility is top-notch.

My dog needed to see a vet but there was no places near me in Illinois to take my dog without an appt. Lowell Animal Hospital was the only one to find walk in. Good place to take your pet. Friendly staff. Kind of far but its worth it, because i know it gives me a piece of mind that my dog is healthy and if i need to take him in an emergency this is the place. Thank you Lowell Animal Hospital.😁

After a very horric experience at another vet, thanks to a patient of mine, I was referred to Lowell Animal Hospital! I will tell you that I will forever take our Daisy Mae (English Bulldog) to Lowell Animal Hospital. From the friendly front staff, vet tech's, Dr. Wise and Dr. Lopez, I feel so blessed that we found them! Dr. Lopez operated on our sweet girl, called and spoke to me personally 4-5 times throughout her hospital stay and I appreciated that. She was so informative, explained everything in great detail and did an awesome job with our baby! I was impressed. I still am! It seems like evryone there on staff has a bully!!!! Thank you so much, Lowell Animal Hospital! Awesome job!!!

We have been so fortunate to find Lowell Animal Hospital! We have a variety of small pets (on a farm in the area) and came to Lowell Animal Hospital through a rescue we foster for, Patriot Paws. If we could give 6 stars we would. Wonderful vets and staff, great care, fair prices, excellent facility. Our only complaint would be they should have a "frequent flyer" card for points ;-)). Kudos to Nate for giving me gas when I realized I was almost out of gas in the parking lot after an unexpected rush trip!

Lowell Animal Hospital is my absolute favorite place for my pup! He loves everyone at the facility, and they show him all the affection and love. Their attention to his health and care is some of the best I’ve ever seen. I will continue to use them forever.

Girls are great. Vets are adequate. Very expensive. Nail trim should at least be a courtesy considering the charges every visit. Even a urine lab is 126.00

They got me through the deaths of my boys and now they are amazing with my troubled rescues! I cannot say enough about them! Most of their staff is amazing. The girls in front are the very best. They are so busy and handle it like champs! And I love the vets I've seen!

Love that this hospital is walk in based and that I can check in on the app to minimize in lobby wait times. All the Dr.'s are compassionate and listen to my concerns with my pet. The new building with the drive through pharmacy pick up window is perfect to swing on by and pick up my pets meds and/or preventatives. We will be a life long clients. Thank you LAH 🐾

Please please please take your animals here and not to Bardens... not only does barden's screw their customers financially by charging double and triple what anyone else charges for everything including prescriptions, you never get to see the actual vet at bardens. they come and get your animal and then take your animal to the Grand wizard aka the vet, then bring your animal back and tell you what the grand wizard said. Here, you actually have a vet come into the room and explain everything. this place is first rate! The place is gorgeous, they have plenty of staff to receive customers and direct customers. They have a really good system there and the prices are excellent! Thank you so much for being an alternative to bardens

⭐️EMPLOYEE REVIEW⭐️ My last day as a technician was a few days ago, I can no longer stand for long hours and had to retire for now. I wanted to leave a review to say that Lowell Animal Hospital is the best! It’s walk in/no appts so the environment is fast pace and busy….but the patient care is still amazing. There is not one staff member I would not want touching my pet and everyone is highly skilled. Your pet is also in great hands in surgery as well, Dr Lopez is Gold standard and leads that area using the safest anesthetic protocols fit for each individual pet. I am proud to say I worked here and am thankful for the many fantastic years I had as a LAH employee. If you are considering LAH as your next workplace do it! This place was absolutely amazing! They made me feel like they really, really cared about my cat. They were super fast, super friendly they answered a ton of probably ridiculous questions without even flinching! Their prices were very affordable, especially compared to other clinics in the area. I really appreciated their curbside service and it was super easy to pay over the phone and retrieve my pet at the door. To have the flea treatment, deworming and all of the shots my cat needed it took 20 minutes!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lowell Animal Hospital. Dr. Wise and all of the staff were incredibly compassionate when we had to put our 17 year old dog down. Even though he was so old, we were not expecting to have to do it the day we went in, but Dr. Wise definitely made me feel like I was doing the right thing for him.I had both my two and three year-old toddlers with me, and their staff made it a very beautiful experience for all of us. They brought in chocolate raisinets and other treats to feed him while we said goodbye, and when it came time to put him down, one of the techs came in to help them make goodbye letters to distract them from what was going on. They gave us a little bottle with a bit of his fur and recently sent a very sweet condolence letter. The care we received was amazing and I recommend them without reservation.

This place is amazing! The vet who seen my dog was amazing! I took my dog to an emergency vet at 3am. We received no answers and was upset when leaving. We went to Lowell and it was a very little wait, the vet was super informative and really cared. The techs were also wonderful. I will definitely go back.

Lowell Animal Hospital is the best vet in the area, hands down. Everyone there was kind and friendly, and did everything to make my skittish dog as comfortable as possible.We saw Dr. Bochnowski, and she was so informative, knowledgeable, and helpful; I learned more about my dog in a short time with her than I have in all the combined time spent with other vets we've seen.Furthermore, their pricing is very reasonable, and they are upfront and clear about it.

LAH staff & Doctors have always listened & discussed our dogs needs & concerns all the time anytime. The dogs were comfortable coming in & always greeted. We had 1 dog that has seizures that they monitored & led us in the right place (Purdue) for further testings. She is being takin care of with meds. The other dog had a lump on throat they biopsied & will be further evaluated at this time. However, the Doctors would call & advise of what would need to be done in the best nature of the dog. I have nothing but praise for them all!! I have referred them before in an emergency situation that they saved the life of a small dog chocking. She is doing fine as well!! So that being said LAH is great for your animals & the best bedside manner!!

I’m overdue on this review. This animal clinic is the best I’ve ever experienced! My Littles (kitty) was having gastrointestinal issues & the vet I had seen said she needed to see a specialist. Specialists being very pricey & none close by, I called here as a last resort (referred by a friend) to inquire if they could help. Not only did they have more testing capabilities, but the Drs went above & beyond to try everything for my baby girl. They even called & collaborated w/ specialists behind the scenes. Dr Wise was able to get my girl back on track & happy & healthy again. They tried so many things & assured me they’d do what they could for her until we found the right combination of treatments. I didn’t need to see a specialist. My girl was so well taken care of & attended to. The staff always so kind, caring & gentle w/ her even on her bad days. & the staff was always so sweet and helpful from the front desk to vet techs to the Drs till you leave. You don’t need an appointment and every time I’ve walked in, they’ve gotten me in very quickly.Unfortunately, I went on vacation and my girl was unable to get her meds and treatments and when I came back home, she was dehydrated and in bad shape. I brought her in and (unbeknownst to me) my last few hours with her were in this clinic. Dr Wise and staff again did everything they could for her from tests to calling around to different specialists and getting information and further help on what could have been wrong and how to save her. They were so sweet and kind to her at this time and so very accommodating to me. They let me in the back to spend as much time with her as I needed when she was in critical condition and before we even knew she wouldn’t make it. I can vouch that behind the scenes, they are very hardworking and very kind with all the animals brought in. I held my girl for hours while they attempted to rehydrate her, get her body temperature up and treat her and while they called around for additional opinions and got test results back. I’m so very grateful for that time they let me spend with her. No amount of words could articulate how much that meant to me.When my girl wasn’t responding and I realized it was better to let her go than to keep prolonging her struggle, I asked Dr wise what she would do. She was very professional and sympathetic in her response. When I decided to let her go, they put me in a private room and gave me as long as I needed with her to say my goodbyes and did what they could to keep her comfortable while I spend my time in private with her. This was a very traumatic experience for me as my girl meant so very much to me. They did everything they could and so kindly and sympathetically. Explained everything and answered all of my questions. Further, they set up everything for her to be cremated and for me to get her ashes back along with the sweetest imprint of her paws. I will cherish that so very much! They set up everything and I didn’t have to worry about anything but mourning for my lil girl. I got her ashes and paw imprints delivered a few days following.One of the kindest and most touching things about this animal hospital is the final detail (along with how sweet and caring they really were to my baby girl and I). I received in the mail, the sweetest card with personal messages from Dr Wise and the staff. Such kind, thoughtful messages. What’s even better, the card had a heart shaped seedling. Plant it and it blooms. That is the sweetest and most thoughtful touch. I truly feel like every person at this clinic truly cares and puts their heart and soul into every animal that comes through their doors. I’m so thankful for them! Dr Wise I especially can’t thank enough for her kindness to me, thoughtfulness & love she showed me & my lil girl. I’m forever grateful & indebted to you & your staff. I hope you know that you guys are making a difference in the world. Thank you!I couldn’t recommends this clinic enough! Please take your pets here! They will be shown so much gentleness, thoroughness & kindness!

We had an awful experience we brought our six puppy’s in for shots and they said one of them looked sick… which he wasn’t and they did blood work to find nothing is wrong with him and we paid $300 for them to tell us that he looks to be a bit dehydrated never will be back!
