Very friendly customer service. I have been here several times and every cashier or stock person has greeted me or asked me how my day was started a conversation. It felt like they enjoyed being there even though they were working. My only gripe would be the clutter every where from stock needing to be put away. It would be great if the DG stores did their stock at night when the customers weren't there

DOLLAR GENERAL of Lowell, Indiana is a nice space for the local area. It has much needed items such as soaps, household cleaners, diapers, toys, storage containers, pet supplies & grocery items. The variety of items offered is limited but nonetheless is available at a good price point. I was able up find a good selection of adult and children’s face masks. The cashier was friendly and helpful. The store did feel abit small for the amount of goods being sold... aisles being very long and narrow. Other than that the store seemed clean and to be run very efficiently. I would recommend DOLLAR GENERAL as a good place to shop and save money.

I don't know what happened, but this place is horrible! Was in there twice in the last week and nothing is stocked. There are piles of boxes everywhere and nothing on the shelves. Entire sections are picked over. You can barely get through the aisles. The floors are filthy. The cashier at the front looked like she hated every second of being there. This used to be my go to place locally for the things I need, but now I'll be taking my business to someplace else. It's not worth it when so many things aren't even in stock. What happened to the wonderful employees that were there before? Please find a way to fix this. Lowell doesn't need another empty storefront.

Absolutely horrible in there, workers are so rude. So upsetting seeing a man and a newborn baby drop a case of pop and the cans went everywhere, the worker literally just watched him pick up all of the cans... Told the worker it would’ve been nice if someone helped and the worker lies and says, “he only dropped 1”...worker also had his AirPods in. Very very disrespectful, never going back

Less than a week before Christmas this store closed 10 minutes early, I got there and the girl at the register just looked at me. How unprofessional and rude! I just had to grab a couple things ☹️

This was my worst experience in a Dollar General ever. I think they called the cops on me because I started recording how horrible they were being. I never even raised my voice. They have a whole stock of an item in a same item different quantity price location. So they were misrepresenting the items price & wouldn't fix it or give it to me for that price.

Always a mess and never organized. Also I dont know how many times i have seen the same guy that does not work there going through everything like playing with all the pudding cups or picking up a bunch of items then setting them in another spot

Even though this is the most crammed, chaotic, messy, and unorganized Dollar General, I gave it four stars because the staff is so friendly, so helpful and they do such a wonderful job at the registers. I have never felt more welcomed anywhere then I did today when I went to purchase something.

yesterday was my first time being in the dollar general here in lowell since last year , it has gone down hill terribly . the place was an absolute mess , could not find anything where it should be , garbage all over the floors and staff is extremely rude , especially the cashier , you can really just tell that she hates her job and looks at you with disgust when you try to speak with her. i will not be back to this location

The interior could be alot nicer. They do have a pretty good selection of things of course at better prices. Staff could be a little more welcoming at checkout.

Floors sticky with pop as soon as you walk in. Floors look like they were supposed to be white, now dirty looking through all of the store. Aisles are small anyhow: yet shopping carts,over flow at front of aisles. Workers are smiling If you see one.

Besides the fact this store is always a HUGE mess, they refused to let my three year old use the bathroom on one trip and wouldn't fill my balloons on another even though every other DG offers this service and they have a special barcode at the register specially for latex balloon fills.

The Lowell store is disorganized and messy. Most DG stores are clean and orderly but this particular location is atrocious and I likely will not be back...

You can find most of what you need at this place at a decent price however everytime I've been in there there is boxes and boxes of merchandise waiting to be unloaded of merchandise making the isles hard to maneuver
