I am writing this review because tonight I had the best experience that I could ever ask for. Tonight I decided I needed a delicious treat and so I came to DQ to find one. I wanted specifically "a medium vanilla cup with sprinkles... Extra sprinkles, like a lot of sprinkles" and in doing so these amazing, young, devoted workers, hardly worked at making me the best, delicious treat I could ever ask for. And while paying they made sure to ask me if there was enough sprinkles... And there indeed were...

We were very disappointed when we visited this DQ a few days ago. The employees were not enthusiastic to do their job, and the overall service was slow. Besides that, almost everything we ordered was either wrong or of disappointing quality. Our 6 piece chicken strip basket had 5 chicken strips. The plain cheeseburger we ordered came out with all the works. The mini blizzard was barely filled 3/4 of the way.Quick service and enthusiasm require nothing but effort. It is quite disappointing when employees- whether fast food or otherwise- are not putting in effort to give customers a satisfactory visit. One visit may not be a good representation of the establishment as a whole, but from my one experience there, I would not recommend.

Went to our Lowell Dairy Queen on National Ice Cream Day and they did not disappoint. Quick, friendly and check out this presentation! I love it! Not to mention that this location just got a face lift. Well deserved 😋😁

Stopped for ice cream for the fam. Would be 5 stats if it wasn't for my ice cream being made incorrectly. I got the turtle pecan cluster. It's supposed to have "chocolate shavings," but as seen in the photo, it was made with chocolate ice cream. Ruined it for me. When I went back inside, I asked what this ice cream was. I was told they just put chocolate shavings but use vanilla ice cream. No way that's vanilla ice cream. Disappointing.

I used to tell everyone that Lowell DQ was the best. You used to make the best blizzards around this area. NOT ANYMORE! The ingredients have have almost disappeared. I ordered a snickers blizzard but I feel like I paid a lot of money for a cup of ice cream. Not the first time either, I doubt that I will be back and I have been coming here for 37 yrs.

Remodeled facility is clean, bright, and cheery. The staff is very friendly & professional, and genuinely makes every effort to provide a pleasant dining experience. A great selection of menu items that are quite delicious. Highly recommended.Parking: Recently paved lot with plenty of parking.

Burgers are underrated! The veggies are cold and the meat.. cheese and bacon is hot 99% of the time!! Which makes a GREAT SANDWICH!! That's not easy to do! Drive-thru line is always long... But the food is worth it considering it's Dairy Queen. Nonetheless, the line still moves rather quickly.

The Flamethrower burger and Blizzards are awesome. Who doesn't love soft serve ice cream eith candy in it? The fries are perfectly crispy.Try the A1 burger...it's pretty good if you like A1 sauce and onion rings.Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't love ice cream?

Since they reopened I am so disappointed with the ice ream 😞the service is always 5 stars but the quantity of toppings they use is so minimal its disappointing. Even the pup cups have shrank in size its almost comical. I have even paid for extra toppings three different visits and none of which did I get extra toppings. Prices have gone up but the ingredients have gone down😔

Pretty good, now that they don't mess up my order every time the s'mores shake is the best thing I think personally because when I ask for extra toppings in my blizzard there's barely ever any so I stay away from the blizzards now and the fish sandwich is exquisite

They use a different bbq sauce from other dq's. Overall the food and ice cream took a huge decrease in quality after remodel.

This place is always super busy and they all work hard to get the line through fast and convenient they may have moments as humans where its doesn't very rarely. But we dont care the staff we've encountered have all been overly polite and wonderful. I would have to say this is the best staff anywhere. I want to thank them all for treating me and my family so special we continue to go there because they makes us feel like family just a true all around staff of beautiful people doing their jobs beyond well and excellent.

My only complaint is they don't always mix the blizzards to the bottom so there's a solid two inches of vanilla at the bottom with none to little mix. This happens more than I would like to admit. But the food and ice cream are fire.

I am so grateful for the people there. They bailed me out with a last minute cake that I needed. They have always been great in all the years that I lived in Lowell and they are the place to be in town for sure. Thank you for your great customer service and I appreciate all the employees hard work and bravery in such crazy times. You guys are the heart of the town.

Have to change my review on this place. I live right down the road and we get burgers there about once a week because of convenience. The food has been steadily declining in quality over the last few months. Cold dried out burgers.Also like other people noted, it's hard to watch those high school students get berated in public by their manager.Ice cream is still good.

This Dairy Queen in Lowell Indiana has been there for over 40 years that I know of and their menu keeps on evolving with the times. Excellent service really nice people they know how to make my blizzard the way I like it. I'm glad to see that this is one business in Lowell Indiana that has stood the test of time and has survived.

The Dairy Queen in Lowell, IN needs to train their employees who run the drive through, to treat customers respectably and courteously - an employee was being frustrated and hot headed with me because I asked for help making an order about a blizzard I was unsure about, then proceeded to arrogantly and obnoxiously cut me off before finishing my order. That REALLY set my patience ablaze. I was infuriated. The person even got my order wrong afterwards.Bottom line is this - a great store keeps people coming, not only because of the great quality of product, but the bosses and employees who treat you like a valued customer as well as a decent human being!
