First time getting work done at Black Devil and couldn't be happier. My son turned 18 recently and been wanting to get his first tat. Turned out great and he is ready for more. I also added a piece to the collection and loved how it turned out. Will definitely be back. If in Lowell area stop in and see Tony absolutely amazing guy and artist.

Tony at Black Devil is now my go to tattoo artist. I’ve done three sessions with him over the past three weeks and all of his work has been amazing. Not only is he a great artist, he’s a freakin cool dude. I would recommend him to anyone.Also got my eyebrow pierced by Josh and I have had zero issues with it.Very professional shop. Dan & Josh were fantastic for my piercing. High quality jewelry and thorough aftercare instructions! They talk everything through with you to make sure you’re comfortable beforehand as well. The cleanest studio I’ve ever been to, has a great professional atmosphere. I would recommend anyone seeking quality piercings to check them out. :)

I highly recommend black Devil Tattoo for all piercing and tattoo needs! The piercer Josh is the nicest. He’s very clean and thorough explaining the process to you. He takes great care of his people! My FAVORITE tattoo artist there is Tony. He is very helpful and nice. All of his work is absolutely amazing. He’s done a couple tattoos on me now and I LOVE them. He did my last couple as cover ups! You can’t even tell and they look awesome. I highly recommend asking for Tony for any and ALL tattoo needs. He takes care of his people aswell. He is very much appreciated!

for 7 years i struggled to find an artist i could trust to do my memorial tattoo for my uncle. i went to the black devil in lowell and tony did both my tattoo for my uncle and my coach who have passed. he did such an amazing job i couldn’t thank him enough. i gave him a picture of what i wanted and he brought it to life! He is definitely my go to artist for all of my tattoos now. you definitely won’t be disappointed if you go to tony!!

I recently posted a review on here after I went to get new jewelry at the place I get pierced at normally. They said it was done wrong but after talking with a friend I realized there was nothing wrong with the piercing I had in. I apologize for once leaving a bad review as the piercer and atmosphere in the shop was overall friendly and inviting. The piercing was well done. I got a conch piercing by Josh yesterday and I know pain is subjective but it wasn’t painful at all. A day later and I forget it’s even there. The jewelry selection is beautiful and Josh was extremely thorough in explaining the piercing process and aftercare. Wouldn’t go anywhere else after this experience.(Picture is just under 24 hours after piercing)

what an AMAZING place! The last time I got a tattoo was before COVID, so I was dying to get a new one. I went in as a walk-in , and was getting my tattoo within the hour. Kyle is a fantastic artist and very sensitive and accommodating to the clients. I felt very listened to and felt like my comfort was greatly considered as well. Very busy unfortunately only one artist at the moment however, I have been to many places and I have never been to a place where an artist is good at all forms of tattoos like, black ink, color, 3D, cartoon, and portraits. I haven't been able to get an appointment yet due to time constraints on my end but, I will definitely be making one here.

I've gotten 3 tattoos done by Dave now. I am in love with them all! The first one I had done by him is a memorial to my dog who passed away suddenly and I couldn't be more happy with it. Second is a ribbon on my forearm that is very specific to me and what if means. Third I got a mother-daughter tattoo. Very great work! I'd recommend him to anyone.

We can't express how impressed we are with both the shop and the artists at Black Devil Tattoo. Inside this clean and eclectic shop are the most talented tattoo artists you will find in the area. We currently get work done there by Dave but highly recommend all the artists that work there. Each artist specializes in their own unique style of tattooing but are fully faceted to do anything you ask for!

Quality wasn’t there. The new artist wasn’t being watched and he colored in a hood portion of my tattoo with a needle that wasn’t the right size. Extremely painful.
