I have only been here once. But very nice place. The staff was accommodating and helped me find what I had needed. Also, when I moved into town, I got in the mail a coupon for a free tape measure. And like $10 or $20 off my first visit to the store. It was like an old-time "welcome to our town" experience thank you and keep up the excellent work.

Decent selection can be a little high on price but honestly worth it if you can afford it. Great knowledgeable friendly staff definitely make up for the difference.However!!!! Need to see some Makita in town everyone is carrying DeWalt or Milwaukee. Stand up be different become a Makita authorized dealer today!

I love Shield's. They are so helpful there. Don't get that kind of helpfulness in box stores. They also have a lot of supplies there. We just went in to purchase plumbing supplies. We were meet first thing, escorted right over to what we needed, she helped pick the right pieces. When we went to check out, the guy asked if we had xyz, we didn't. They got that for us too and saved us another trip. Wish I could give them 10 stars

This place is the best I've come across in 20 years! Cut and thread gas/water line free of charge! Even have a crimping roller so you can pieces together black pipe without buying extra pieces. Very knowledgeable and courteous staff.
