This is a cute little old-school ice cream stop. They have a small variety of scoop flavors, and the standard soft-serve stuff that they make various creations with.The food leaves something to be desired. The chicken sandwiches are reconstituted nugget-like material, but he tenderloins and chicken strips aren't bad.The wait time was very long. I don't know if it was because they were busy or understaffed, but we sat around for 20 minutes or so.The ice cream is where it's at here, so stop for that.

The absolute BEST burger that you'll ever get from a "fast food" joint. I hear that the beef is all locally raised, which makes it just that much more awesome! The ice cream was the perfect end to a great meal. Well done!!!

always had exceptional service but the mikayla girl was scoffing every time i spoke up. she wouldn't get off her phone long enough for us to order andtreated us like we were a nuisance. butter pecan ice cream was amazing per usual until i ate the hair in it. hopefully next time is better because this place has always been top of the list for me. ice cream was great, service was awful

Best tenderloin I have ever had !! I have not had one forever because they changed ownership or something but new flavors and I assume the rest of this food is back to being great! Ice cream and such has always been good! Worth the stop

This is an awesome little ice cream shop! The workers are very kind, they are quick to get the orders out, and they have delicious ice cream as well. They also do other foods besides ice cream, and those are really tasty as well!Definitely recommended if you are passing through the area and have time for a treat.

We passed through Linden on our way back from Turkey Run State Park and let me just say, this old school ice cream parlor is a real treat!The burgers are made picnic style with clearly fresh ingredients, and the onion rings were perhaps the best we've had to date. Not to mention the ice cream is great too.If we return to other parks in the area we will be sure to stop here again!

One of those nice, simple classic ice cream stands. Driving to Crawfordsville and just wanted something sweet and remembered Lindy Freeze was just ahead. Stopped and got a couple cones, which were delicious. Exactly what you'd expect and they delivered. Love this place. Highly Recommended.

We stopped at Lindy Freeze coming from Turkey Run State Park on our way back to Lafayette. We would come back again, especially for the ice cream and onion rings! I loved the seasonal flavors and generally wide selection.

A great small-town tradition. They have a fairly large menu for such a small shop.The employees are always friendly and the prices are reasonable.It's only a few minutes south of Lafayette and if you're looking for a fun little adventure, this is a great place to go.We always stop in after visiting the Conservation Club or the Train Museum.

It's been quite a while since I have been here. I can't imagine why! I got my favorite thing...a black raspberry malt. They make the best in the area! A little bit of a drive from Lafayette, but we'll worth it! My son had a banana split. It was big! He loved it. It won't be as long a time for my next visit!

We've passed by here many times headed to or from the area's state parks. We finally stopped today and realize we've been missing out. Prices are very reasonable, staff was great, and the ice cream was delicious. Next time I'm splurging on a meal and dessert!

Great place to go for ice cream. Short drive down US231 from Lafayette. Really good ice cream. Our favorite is Raspberry Sherbet. But I like most flavors. I love Peanut Butter and their PB shakes are delicious. They have an extensive sandwich menu also, but I've not eaten there. Very convenient access, sits right by the road. Adequate parking and also a drive through if your in a rush. People inside are very friendly and patient while you decide from the extensive menu. No inside seating, but plenty of outside seating to sit and enjoy ice cream, talk and watch traffic.

So glad the new owners have taken this over and done the improvements that was much needed on this linden landmark. The service was wonderful and very quick. Definitely stop there before they close down for the winter which I think is in October sometime.

Best ever! First time there tonight. Had the banana split and hubby had the half brownie bowl. Soooo much ice cream...and sooo good. Prices are excellent for the amount we got. Will be returning...even though we live almost 20 miles away!! Yes, it's that good!

Haven't been to the Lindy Freeze for a while. The parking lot is improved. Picnic tables outside under the awning which made it nice. Had a simple chocolate sundae. Was soft serve with chocolate sauce. Whipped cream and nuts are extra if you'd like them. Have milk shakes, cones, etc and sandwiches, etc also. Will be back.

Last two times ive been there.Service was very slow as well customer service sucks not very polite what so ever. Employees messed up 3 orders while we waited just to get our icecream. Used to be one of my favorite icecream shops I won't be coming back anytime soon.

A local ice cream and fair food stand that is a hit with locals and attracts a fair amount of traffic due to its location on US 231. Good breaded tenderloins and plentiful settings of fried mushrooms along with delicious hard ice cream and milkshakes. Definitely worth a stop!

Nice little ice cream treat place with fast food fare. They finally started taking credit cards after what seemed like 20 years of cash only. They have also increased their menu greatly in the past couple of years.

We stopped at the drive-thru as we were on our way through town. I don't know what the car in front of us ordered but we were in line for about 10 minutes and they still hadn't moved. So we had to pull away and leave without ordering.
