Mind blown. Real hamburgers real good crunchy but fresh bacon. AND FRESH FRIES WITH A BIG RED TO WASH IT DOWN. NOT GOING TO EAT ANYWHERE ELSE WHEN IN THE MADISON INDIANA AREA. ALL THAT FOR UNDER 7 BUCKS. You just don't get that anywhere in the city anymore. Great place to stop and fill your belly. Don't drive past trust me just stop and try!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I used to work here. The guy that owns the place REFUSES to pay his employees the time that they worked, for example I worked 46 hrs and he would only pay me for one hr overtime! Everyone that works there is fake as plastic. They have mold in the coolers, and around the door in the back, the manager is a drunk who will tamper with your time card and pretends like she ain’t do nothing wrong. Y’all I’m serious and you guys can take it as I’m “bitter” but believe what you want cause I lived through this 💯

Always friendly. Meats selection is good. Deli choices are reasonable and tasty. Gas prices are competitive. Normally stop in once a week.

What's a priority in this type of store is friendliness of staff and you get that here. The daily specials prepared meals are true value and in good portions. A decent selection of convenience store products make this a worthwhile stop for those traveling to work or just traveling

We stopped today on the way home from Madison. They had a small farmer's market in the parking lot and were grilling out front. The ribeye sandwiches were delicious. They sell the rubs they use in the store (nice selection). The store had a really nice meat case and the employees were really friendly. Will definitely be back.

I'm thrilled with Chelsea's general store! They sell Pate's Meat. The prices on steaks and ribs, pork chops were so good I stocked my freezer. You can buy homemade preserves and relishes, pickles. I left that day with two family size pork chops, 4 packs country ribs, blackberry preserves, canned pickles, pickled asparagus, 4 cans Apple pie a gallon of milk, eggs, graham cracker pie crust, bottle of water. Oh yeah pickled bologna for $63.00 and some change.

I called at 7:05 pm on a Friday night to order pizza! I asked if I could make a pizza order and the lady puffed loudly and said what do you want sure. I said 3 large pizzas she said very RUDELY, “you do realize it’s past the time to make pizzas and I already shut it off but I guess I’ll turn it back on.” I said no that’s ok I will go somewhere else and she added “ I said I would do it I turned it back on” all this after she already said she could make the pizza!! Very rude customer service!!!

This is a nice, local general store to have close by if you need some basics. The trash can was overloaded right outside the door, so its makes it look kind of bed. But other than that its a good store to have around.

This is a rural widespot, homegrown, convenient store and deli. As good a place as any to stop while enroute to Hanover or Madison (Indiana). Also has some of the better meat around.
