Well, I ordered a custom pair of wool pants to be made and some standard items. They very clear that they would be 6 to 12 weeks to make, I told them I really needed them in 6, but it is what it is, I called a couple times just to check in, customer service was always straight to the point and busy, I could tell. I received all my items just in time at 6 weeks, pants were very well made. Great job folks. I will be using you again soon.

I ordered a A frame tent on the October 19th.I called to make sure they got my order and told them I needed by November 7th and got it by the 5th.Very nice and helpful and fast shipping.

We ordered a tent at the end of October for an event in January. We called to check in multiple times to ensure we would have the tent with enough time to test it out, make tent poles, etc. We noted this in our order. In early December when we called we were told that "we have to get all the Christmas orders done first, then we will get to you". We ordered early to avoid this. In the end of December we called to continue to check in and were met with a lack of concern for our order. We were told that the person who makes the tent is remote and can't be reached. We ended up receiving our tent one hour prior to our departure for our event. This was not due to shipping delays. Long story short, poor customer service, lack of concern for our frustration of delay. Not worth the back and forth and lack of customer service to order from this company again.

Their products are very well made and I'm very pleased with what I've got. However I'd recommend ordering single items at a time as it took 2 months to get my first order of over $230 and my second order of about $150 took over a month. They're kind on the phone as well. I will probably return, but I'll likely call before I order to make sure what I need is in stock first.

I will not be buying from these folks again. They charged my card the day I placed a phone order, but after several months I still had not received anything. When I called to inquiry, they said they were waiting on one item. Really? One item! Try charging my card when the order ships like grown up companies do. Try contacting me and asking if I'd like to wait, ship the balance, or cancel the order.

Wow great customer service I can't say nothing less of this company the operation that they have here is fast efficient and very reliable! I've been pretty much in contact with them for a week just trying to figure out what I need personally and the people I spoke with were just amazing and when Friday came around last week I finally placed an order the order was shipped out very quickly and I got it two days after it was shipped talk about fast!!!!

Been reenacting for a few years and FCS has had anything I need as I build impressions. Notable quality items would be their brogans and boots and their tents are second to none no matter the model.

got my first dog tent from them earlier in the year and have now been able to finally use it, the quality shows because I don't wake up wet and the canvas is strong. really couldn't ask for better.

Very dirty messy takes 30 minutes to just to get card swiped lady and was nice and friendly but pee pads in the floor just dirty the photos are from re-enactments not the store

This is a civil war buff's Dream store its a place you always wish you had $1,000 in your pocket every time you go but they are very reasonable on all their merchandise both authentic and great replica items
