Trav was great!! I was in town working and needed a sky lantern Trav came in at 10am and let me shop he didn't open until 4pm but I work nights. He was very friendly, helpful, and nice. It was amazing to have a business owner so willing to go out of his way to make someone happy!!!

SHOUT OUT! Be it fireworks / celebration time or the season of Halloween that's upon us, this store has never disappointed.Usually knowing what I need, I'm in and out due to a GREAT selection, but, when trouble arose after getting home and the "hey kiddo, try this one" happened, I made a mistake in my selection.Called the store, and spoke with them about the ordeal quickly and they were kind, courteous and understanding. When I mentioned coming back the next day, I asked their name, and low and behold, It was Travis himself.So many times we rarely deal with business owners themselves, only their staff, who, reflect the business. Trying to boost the trend of GREAT reviews for shopping LOCAL.You've played a huge part in some great memories for a lot of us here while we celebrate. Hope you know that.This store will always have my support.Top notch Travis 🖤🎆🖤

I’ve been buying here for years.Great selection tons of stock compared to other places.Owner is very helpful. Go before the 4th to have time to shop and make selections. It gets crazy.

Another year at Travis! We won’t go anywhere else. This place makes you feel like family. I love that our kids look forward to visiting every year. Dale is the best, (his wife is pretty great too) always helps and the kids just love him!

If I could give 0 stars I would the employees are rude as hell. I called to ask if they had gender smoke and to get pricing. I was told by the employee “ya, congratulations” and then hung up on. I get there and there was no pink smoke only purple. Employees were rude at checkout. Save your money and just drive to Kentucky. Gender reveal ended up ruined, disappointed the whole family because the purple looked blue.

Love this Place! Great selection! I had great service from Bonnie who was also there last year when I went! I always leave with a car load! Highly recommended not only for the products great customer service as well. Being in retail management myself, I can tell you this kind of employee is hard to find these days!

Always a great selection every year but you guys didn't give away hardly anything free this year, 950$ and got 2 little fireworks and one smaller cake and a small 6 pack of mortars. Last year spent 1000 and had half a cart free. You guys are slammed every time I come.... maybe we go somewhere else next year

I have been going to Trav's fireworks for at least the 12 years. I have always had good customer service and today was no exception, all the staff were incredibly friendly and willing to help. There were many staff members walking around on the floor there to answer customers questions about each individual firework. Today my wife and I worked with Travis the owner and Ben and we could not have asked for any better service. This is the reason to support small businesses and this is one that everybody should go to. Lastly they knew our budget and we're willing to stick to that number without going over, there was never any pressure to buy something nor any upselling. Both Ben and Travis were absolutely amazing.

Come back Rick. It's unfortunate that you had a bad experience. As one of the employees mentioned in your review I had to respond with the facts. How do I know I was one of the employees? As soon as a mention of smoking around fireworks at Trav's is posted, the security video is reviewed to see which employee is being immediately terminated for lighting up. There are signs that state "Smoking is NOT permitted within 75' of the building'.What Rick saw was two veteran employees wearing their Party at Trav's t-shirts (provided) eating pizza (again, provided) on a paid break. We were followed out the EMERGENCY EXIT. I did attempt to draw your attention because all purchases are checked at the main double door entrance. Over the past few days we have had hundreds of satisfied and happy customers wait to have their receipts verified. The cashiers inform customers to keep their receipt handy because it will be checked. It's a party atmosphere: music, firework videos to assist customers, cash registers, etc. It can get loud so perhaps you didn't hear that reminder.Party at Trav's is one of few retail establishments that does not willing go along with allowing people to boldly steal. In preventing theft,Trav's is able to keep the price of fireworks the lowest in the area. Come back Rick.

Trav's has been my go to store for fireworks for the last 11 years now! You definitely get your money's worth here! Shout out to Dale who is very knowledgeable and puts on the best fireworks display in Rising Sun each year so he certainly knows how to pick out the right ones for you!

Very overpriced fireworks. The workers there try and push the most expensive items on you. One person who worked there was giving certain people free bundles but only if you looked like him. I don't recommend going here. I would go somewhere else where you can get better fireworks or the same fireworks for a cheaper price.

I went into Travs today worried that I wasn’t going to be able to make a good firework show this year on my budget. I just wanna say DALE is amazing. He filled my entire cart with mortars and boxes and made sure that it was within my budget. He did all the shopping for me as I followed him around the store! This was the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Props to you Dale! I owe you some Butter Pecan icecream! 😁

Very nice people but kinda expensive they used to have a lot of buy one get one not anymore spent over four hundred dollars and did not get much. Then they gave me a free pack of roman candles like really I spent that much and only got that. I'll find a new place next year

We get our fireworks at Travs. All the employees are super knowledgeable and will even walk around with you to help you pick out fireworks in your price range so you get the most bang for your buck. Being able to scan the QR code to see what kind of firework you're getting is a game changer. Keep an eye out for "Travs picks" too.

I had a coupon for across the street but they were closed at 9am when flyer said they open at 8 am. Travs was open and we spent $300 on some great fireworks. One of the workers or possibly the owner came up to us and showed us which were the best to use. We will go there every year from here on out. Great customer service!! Thank you!!

The owner was super nice and helpful, plus the dog was awfully cute! but I payed $60 for a costume (you’re only allowed to try on the main thing not all the small pieces) & then I got home to realize half my items for the costume were missing. I didn’t have time to return to the store, and it was disappointing to pay a large price and only receive a portion of the attire.

I just left from there, and couldn't wait to review the place. I think the guy name was Dan, he was amazing! Helped out, even did the shopping for us. He made us feel like we were family. Everyone was nice and made sure we would have a great show for our children. If I could, id give them 10 stars. Got a customer for life.

The fireworks were OK. A few of them only half went off. Luckily, my sisters boyfriend is good with fireworks 🎆 and got the other half to go off. Probably stick with Phantom next year.

I’ve been coming her for fifteen years, spend atleast 300-400 each time. Ive actually went twice this year. 7/1/21 and 7/3/21. Yesterday 7/3/21 there was a lady stopping people at the door and checking receipts causing a huge hold up. Extremely hazardous. I’m not sure what her basis was on stopping people, but most of the people stopped where minorities. Ive never seen this happen in all the previous years I’ve came. I always have zero issues. This is not a good look. I was embarrassed for recommending this store to my friends after this happened to us.

Awesome place for fireworks. I personally can't say anything about the Halloween apparel cause I haven't shopped for it but I'm sure it's great also. My wife and I went in on 3/14/21 to buy fireworks. The owner met us there, he was very helpful while we were purchasing our stock pile. I have been going there for years and will continue.

Stopped in the weekend before July 4th. Selection was okay, but prices were a bit high. Carried pretty much the same things all the other fireworks stores had. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had several people ask if they could help us find anything.
