This is a unique place! They have a variety of menu choices to choose from and ice cream! They have outdoor tables with colorful umbrellas to provide shade, music playing and it's just a friendly little tasty stop for all!

Kim, Roxanne and the family are great!! Try the hitching post burger and the mushrooms!! Always enjoy the environment. A nice fire, amazing food! I would recommend you stop and check it out. Or grab some ice cream!!

This place is awesome. We had the Grilled Cowboy tenderloin and it was delicious. The owner came out and talked to us and her daughter was the waitress. Extra nice people. She told us she forgot one of the ingredients and gave us the food at no charge. We didn't even know it was missing because of how much stuff was on this thing. We will definitely be back and I will probably get the same thing!

Ate here last night for the first time...cool to see this in my hometown!...as someone who's worked in restaurants for over 20 years, this place is awesome...great quality and quantity of food, price point is perfect for what ya get!..owner even came out to do table touches and go over the menu, ya just dont find places like this anymore!..will be back...a lot :)

I had two certificates from Be Our Guest which were to expire on 2.8. The owner extended the date on my one remaining certificate which is greatly appreciated. All the food we had for lunch today was very good. Will be back when it warms up to try the ice cream. Thanks to the owner, sorry I don't remember her name for assisting us!!! The owners daughter was our waitress she was very on top of things and gave us very good service.

Amazing food, atmosphere, and staff!! Just recently found this place that's not far from home. Ill food is cooked to order and fresh never frozen! Outdoor and indoor seating, outdoor seating feels like your on vacation, there is outside games to play while you wait for your food and music! The owner is amazing! We definitely give this place and A+

Fun place to visit and the food was pretty good. The chicken strip are really good and only $1 each on Sunday. Burgers were really good. Hot dogs just ok and the fries were a little pricey. Overall a nice find but wouldn't go out of my way to dine there. $20 for 2 people for burgers and hotdogs with no drinks is a bit pricey for this outside dining place but it really was a fun stop.

We finally had the chance to check out The Ole Hitchin Post and had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and service was good. We had family fun playing a game as we waited on our food. We enjoyed listening to the country music as we ate. My kiddos loved the chicken strips and fish!

I took my family to the Ole Hitchin Post for lunch. We ate in the outdoor dining area. The atmosphere was great, and there were games for the kids to play (corn hole, oversized Jenga, connect four). The food was fantastic. We’ll definitely eat there again.

The restaurant is under new management and I am so impressed with the experience! The food is not only phenomenal but you can tell the ingredients are fresh made with care. The live music was so good and I will for sure be back!!**try the burgers for sure! So good!!!

The outdoor eating was perfect. Servers were prompt and friendly. The food was tasty, filling, and a good value. My only complaint was the village's tap water. It tasted TERRIBLE. But they can't do Nick about that other than better water filters (which I highly recommend). We would happily eat there again.

New owners! Chrissy and her team does a wonderful job. They changed the looks a little and it looks amazing! Can't wait to see some of the music groups they have booked for the summer. Great Job Ole Hitching Post!
