The owners love animals! I've used them at least a dozen times with no issues.I think using a computer system for reservations would make things easier for them, but I suppose their paper calendar works for them.

What a great place for your pets. The people there are wonderful. Very clean. Big play yard for the pets. The only place we will board our pets when needed. Stop by and check their place out. You won't be disappointed.

We just picked up our dog Cooper from Happy Tails and they were amazing! They care for the animals just like their very own. Cooper had such a good time there, when we left he tried to go back in the door to play some more! He didn't want to leave. They have great rates and communicate well with their clients. Found someone's cat and called Happy Tails Pet Resort. They are just down the road and asked them if they possibly knew who's cat I found. They agreed to hold the cat until owner found or would have adopted out.They were caring, kind and true animal lovers.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!We went to pick our dog up today, she didn’t have any of her 4 toys, her food was missing, her bed was missing, and her blanket was missing!!! The only thing that she had when we picked her up was her leash!This is absurd. She looked like she had lost several pounds, she is only an 17 pound dog, so we were surprised to see her looking to be only about 13-14 pounds now!!She also had poop stuck to her like she has had diarrhea for the last week. The only time our dog has EVER had diarrhea was when she was on other dog food!!Overall we are far from happy! This place is a joke!DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!

DO NOT LET YOUR PETS STAY HERE. Never again. And I will warn all my friends and family. My sister and I dropped off my husky and cocker spaniel for a week. When we got back, the cocker spaniel was SKIN and bones, shaking and smelt bad. They never said a word.The husky was shaking and when I raised my hand to pet her, she would flinch. I never struck my dog. But she would flinch at me now?!They had a lot of food, missing toys, an awful smell and did not act right when we picked them up . The owner couldn't even remember who they were. We had to describe them to them. But when I called last week, they said the dogs were having a good time.Turns out, they rarely interact with the dogs. And the front kennels are just for show.This place is HELL and the fact that they are still open is appalling. History shows several lawsuits have happened here because of the mistreatmebt of pets. DO NOT LET YOUR PETS STAY HERE

Great service for the price! Nice facilities and clean, owners are all about dogs. About 20 min from downtown Louisville close to Georgetown IN. Only negative is cash only, but that’s not a big deal, really. Owners are friendly, and they took good care of my two girls. We’ll be back next year for vacation!

We have been using Happy Tails for years and our dogs really seem to enjoy staying there. When we get out of the car, the dogs are rushing to the door.They even offer kennels with a TV and a couch to help pets feel at home. (cleaned frequently )Very clean and sanitary facility.They give pets regular exercise / outdoor time and provide a loving atmosphere.

What a wonderful family run business that treats your pets like family! I'm lucky to be close enough to use Happy Tails Pet Resort for my dog whenever we need. The owners are the nicest people who genuinely care for the animals, and it shows!I'm updating my review to comment that after several more stays, I'm still just as happy to use this pet resort.

We loved the service we got with Happy Tails. This was the first time leaving our dogs for so long and were worried how they would be when we picked them up. They were happy to see us and didn't seem anxious or upset at all. We will gladly use them again in the future.

BEWARE!!!!!So friendly upfront and thought we could trust these people. Happy Tails is HORRIBLE!!! Shouldn't still be in business. Forged our contract and lied about it years ago. Awful!!! Still upset to this day. Our dog was put down less than a week after staying here. Would give ZERO stars if it was an option!—This was posted several years back, but somehow was mysteriously removed. Look at yelp. Pictures of conversations of owner threatening me because she was left a bad review of her business. If you love your pet, don’t go here!

We have taken our two little dogs and big dog there on several occasions while out of town. They do a great job with the dogs. We can tell they are happy when they get picked up. More importantly, we can tell that they are happy when they get dropped off and recognize where they are. That shows us that they are comfortable with their surroundings.

We boarded our boxador here while on vacation for 10 days.She suffers from anxiety and happy tail syndrome, when we came to pick her up she was a little off the chart at 1st but as soon as she got in the car she was calm like never before and she has been that way since. Just goes to show me that they really loved on her and pampered her just like home. Thank you so much for taking so much care of my baby

We picked our 2 dogs up after 5 days and they stunk!! Strong urine smell. They had been sprayed with perfume to cover it up. New bones we had bought for them looked as though they had never been given to them. Checked via messenger almost daily as to how they were doing. Always told great and promises of pictures. Never received any. You would think charges would be for a 24 hr period, but we were charged for 6 days. Dropped off on a Tuesday at 5:30 abd charged for a whole day. Picked up at 4 on Sunday (not allowed to pick up any earlier) and charged for a day. Will not return and will not recommend to anyone. I will advise everyone NOT to even consider.

They are great people and my Buster loves getting groomed. When we take a vacation or gone for 4-5 days, Buster goes to the "Doggie Hotel" til we return to him. Their rates are very reasonable and you know they are taken care of.

Chase is a 13 yr old border collie. Until last weekend, he had never stayed in a kennel. As a senior he has special needs and the owners were very happy to meet them. I was very pleased how content he was when I picked him up. I am happy to have such nice people care for my dog when I have to be away.

The owners Judy and Jim are deceitful people whom should NOT be involved with animals. We entrusted them to board our Great Dane Zero and paid for a luxury air conditioned suite. Zero was injured on day 2 of her 6 day stay by their chain link fencing. We never received a call and she NEVER received treatment until the morning of picking her up. At that point her leg was very swollen and terribly infected. We had to drive around to the rear kennel to pick her up as she could not stand or walk. We rushed her to the vet and after comprehensive treatment for two months Zero was unable to overcome her injuries. She was laid to rest late September of this year. The owners Judy and Jim maintained they had no idea what happened to Zero.As of today12-12-2017 we had our day in court. It was finally today we learned the partial truth that Zero was stuck under a fence. It was also today that we received justice for Zero. Happy Tails had to pay vet fees and for cremation after the horrendous injuries and months of lies told by Judy Marksbury. Please please please stay away from this business!!!

I have boarded my dog for many years here and I don't remember ever feeling that the Happy Tails folks did an inadequate job. They took good care of him even though he is a barker and a bit high strung. Thank you for your service.

You can really tell that they care about the pets that stay there, and they also keep things simple. With most of the other local kennels I feel like I'm renting storage space rather than asking someone to watch my dog. We were very pleased.
