Bob tail been parked..in driveway for over a week..blocking exit way for big trucks. Ladies at Fuel desk are nothing but rude...PERIOD!! Been in here many of times. Never changes. Big truck parked beside the bobtail..clearly marked no parking.. security wants to pawn off on manager. Manager wants to pawn off on corporate..do better!!

I'm going to give this one a 3 this time cuz the day before I hit I was here the restrooms are dirty they were nasty they weren't clean for 24 hours have to stall did not have toilet paper. The good news is they got a game room a pool table in a bunch of other toys inside the building that keep you busy if you're going to be here for a day.

Waiting over 2 hours for a simple truck tire change. What a Joke. Empty tire bay, mechanic on break and I’m in line behind a truck that can’t pay for service. So I can’t even get started because they have to wait for payment. They don’t even care that I’m on the clock. They get paid by the hr and it shows. Customer service is severely lacking.

This place is dirty. Parking lot is always trashed. Which is truck drivers put up with because there is usually parking and a bathroom. That has ended. Not they have new hours. Most truck drivers get rolling very early in the morning. We like to use the restroom get coffee and fuel then go about out way. No more with these new hours. I will not be back. Keep in mind I have spent tens of thousands of dollars here over the years in fuel and food. This place won’t see another penny fromMe.

I stopped at the TA service shop on 10/21/23 around 11am to see if I could get my line coming off my power steering reservoir replaced and the o ring under the fitting replaced as my power steering was leaking on my Peterbilt. It should be an easy 30 min fix. I was told that no mechanic was going to be on duty the entire day by the black woman at the shop counter and was told to check back in on Sunday at 4 pm. I checked in again at 4pm on 10/22/23 and was told I was the 2nd truck in line by the young white girl working at the shop counter. She said I would be in the shop by 6pm after they replace the batteries in another driver’s truck. I wasn’t brought into the shop until 9pm and was then told that they couldn’t fix my truck because they didn’t have the parts and I had to wait til Monday morning and they would fix it then. All that needed to be replaced was an 8 inch 1/2 inch power steering line and a rubber o ring. Very simple to do yet I wasted my entire weekend waiting here to get it fixed when I should’ve just went somewhere else and got it fixed. Don’t waste your time and money coming here to get any work done on your truck when the shop can’t make simple basic repairs that a monkey could do. Now I have to go waste my time at another shop to get it fixed. Apparently this truck stop doesn’t understand that time is money and truck drivers can’t afford to waste our time and money. We work for a living. I will never waste my time at another TA ever again. For now on I’ll go to a real shop like Peterbilt and get it done. I wish we could charge TA for all the time they waste of ours, I bet their sorry attitude and service would change then.

Joanne, Mario , & javyeh was really helpful. They couldn’t came anytime sooner to help a brother . I’d came in dirty .. needed a shower & funds for the roads . Was able to process it smoothly with these folk’s help .Spacious parking as well .. although don’t know have safe it is , thought Chicago was pretty grimy .. but , the professional staffs here got me think otherwise .Drop by for fuel & showers .. they’d be sure here to help you out !

Price gouge for tires. Quoted $350 for one tire then charged $440. Charged 2.5hrs labor to drive 12 miles and change 1 tire. End of the day over $900 for a recap drive tire. DO NOT USE IF YOU KNOW WHAT GOOD SERVICE IS.

Wow, what an incredible act of kindness! Today at TA truck stop at Popeyes; my heart are filled with warmth about how generous the manager who gave me free food when you were in needI applaud you, you’re amazing for going out of your way to make a difference in someone's life. It's small gestures like this that truly make the world a better place. let me tell you about a heartwarming story! I lost my wallet but was fortunate enough to have some TA ultra points to purchase food. Though he thought his points were scanned, the kind manager surprised him by offering some delicious friend chicken free of charge. You know why? Because that's just the kind of him! Thank you thank you 😊 . ( he is the white guy who work in the kitchen ). He should be promoted for being such a kind.

This is a typical modern truck stop with plenty of pumps and a well stocked convenient store, bathrooms, showers and ample parking options. They are also open late at night and the staff was very friendly.

This TA is an abomination. Filthy lot, no restraunt and prices are double elsewhere for roller dogs, candy, and everything else. No food until 10 am earliest, and none after 9 pm. Popeyes employees are rude, and have an entitled attitude. If your white good luck getting served without scorn and contempt from many of their employees. The overnight security Officer is a great guy and takes protecting drivers in their rigs seriously. He doesn't hide out like many others but is actually out there watching over us while we sleep. Overall this TA is a shanker sore on the world of truckstops. Do not stop here except to sleep. It is a safe respite if that Security Officer is on duty.This place is sad to see after what it was in the 80s and 90s.

I got food poisoning from the Popeyes and got 2 ticks on my sweatshirt from walking across the parking lot. The parking lot is trashed, used tires laying everywhere full of stagnant water. Good place to catch the West Nile Virus.

Truck stop audit no. 598 02/09/20 10:30pm****First impression right off when pulling in the fuel island for autos was nicely lit, and clean. Pulling around to the truck parking it was obvious there was reserved parking. I will minus one star for that. Truck stops will note they have these reserved parking for maintenance and overhead. I will argue that would be incorrect and just another money grab and gouging. My research shows reserved parking didn’t become mandatory for most stops till the E-log mandate. Most stops use this to there advantage because they know truckers are now forced to stop and when to run.****Inside the truck stop the girls working in there where very nice and professional. I had asked about a food product in the warmer ( sandwich ) I had asked about how long it had been sitting. I do believe her answer was honest in my opinion. Bathrooms where a 8 out of a 10 but was close to cleaning time but nothing serious to take a star away. Security was on site very respect when we spoken to each other, no vibes no power trips like most you’ll find in some truck stops. Didn’t have a chance to check out the shop but didn’t look like anyone was working, could have been on a call I didn’t ask.****Truck parking could use more light and slick spots from snow could use a cleaning from the snow but due to the weather the past few days it’s understandable it was not jumped on the second it stopped snowing. Sidewalk was salted from ice and cleaned of from trips and falls .****

Nasty. Definitely worst TA I’ve been. The security guard assaulted me. I have it on video. Police were called and made out a report to recommend charges against the security guard. The police clearly saw from the video I was very calm and the little security guard was screaming profanities at me. The manager is a nasty excuse that’s why she has security because of the way she deals with people then all the staff think they can be rude to customers to a point they need security to protect them. That little security guard is mentally challenged and should not be dealing with the public. What is so ironic. I went to the pilot-flying J a flew blocks down the road and it was booming with customers. The TA barely had any customers.

The place used to be a nice place to stay at, but lately has become a 💩hole. The main restraint is closed, one of the fast food places is closed, and the store never has certain products anymore. Will not be returning to this location again if u can avoid it.

I was surprised and very pleased with the professionalism of the staff, i.e. the security who went out of his way to see that I was able to get something to eat after everything had closed and the cook (Eric) that prepared that good pizza as well as Destiny who works behind the service counter. She knows service in the kindest manner. Also the mechanic who worked on my truck. They’re all great. I never had such a pleasant experience at any TA or other truck stop. Man, that team, they are the example of customer service.

This is a good TA. The bathrooms are kept very clean. The people overall are friendly. The restaurant is clean. We had breakfast and it was good. Our waitress was great. The only downside was a table of foul-mouthed locals. No one wants to hear that first thing in the morning. I told our waitress and she said she would let the manager know. Otherwise, we had a good stay.

Not too bad. Much of the staff is rude and many times nobody is behind the fuel counter to get a receipt. But other then that, the place is prerty good. The rest of the staff is nice and the food is much better compared to the other two local truck stops. There are showers after all. They are hidden in that back and are pretty clean. Good stop.

The service shop is Ridiculous, put me on waiting list for oil change at 15:30, no one is in front of me and after 4.5 hrs they say that they can't get me until next morning. They are bull ...t.

They are always awesome. Their security guards can give you the Willie's but they aren't bad people. They're just always everywhere. Good prices. They are on the Get Upside app and you're in and out quickly.

Got here at 4pm on 1/29/2021 to get a air leak fixed on trailer and was told there would be a four hour wait, then about 7 pm got a call from shop and they said it would be in the am when they could get to us. Went in this morning and no one was at work besides one employee and he informed us that the other workers show up whenever they feel like it, same goes for the truck stop also. You can't buy anything because there is no one there to run the register. The employee also they can't afford to fire anyone because no one wants to work. This is just b.s. Will not be stopping here anymore. I had to give one star in order to post this, but it is a zero star place!

I was very disappointed with there take out place Popeyes... For a 12 piece chicken tender order took over an hour to receive it. There employees to not WORK well together at all... Pretty sad when one girl gets and attitude from the other employees so bad she walks out in the middle of the shift!!!! Won't be ordering there ANYMORE!!! NEED SOME BETTER ORDER IN THERE!!!!

My experience and review is based on the restaurant...Was there with wife and 3 young children (5, 3, and 1). It took 4 minutes to get greeted, 3 more minutes for drinks, and then after 10 more minutes of waiting for Connie to take our order I placed $10 on the table and walked out with the family.Hostess and waitresses saw us leave and didn't say a word when we wlaked by.Almost 20 minutes and we didn't even place our food order.Never again.
