Long has this promise of a deli for those with discerning palates held allure, especially one boasting a punctilious approach to freshness.Alas, I am afraid to report that the freshness was not strict. Oh it was not.And the usage of the word "Gourmet" is...loose.It was a lunch flavored with dashed hopes and stale sadness.

I bought a fuel tank here that leaked fuel all over the trunk of my BMW. I came in to return the faulty products. They decided to take the tank back but not the funnel that was bought together. Ladies Ashlie and Alyssa, both managers decided to against their companies return policy which is (we offer our guests the option to either return items for a full refund within seven (7) days of purchase). They decided to take one item and not the other. My purchase was made on 11/12 and the attempt to return was made on 11/14 @ 18:21 PM CST at the MR Fuel truck stop in Lake Station Indiana. These people and their actions will be reported to corporate. I will present them with a whole invoice for a full detail of my interior that will come out of their pockets. No reason to act this way and waste my time while their product failed, instead they chose to use words “i don’t care”.

I have gone to the Blue Beacon many times behind this location and until today i never stepped foot into this very clean very well organized truck stop!! staff there are very pleasant. The manager is doing an awesome job!!!

Very clean & usually good gas prices. Staff is always very friendly. They also have a nice hot food menu that is not to pricey, & the food is actually pretty decent for a gas station/ Truck stop. The bathrooms are always very clean. I love their crushed ice at the fountain drinks. Their ice reminds me of the good crushed Hospital ice. I just hope they continue to keep nice friendly staff & a clean store with low gas prices. WAY TO GO MR. FUEL, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

This place was once really bad. There is still the issue with drivers parking at the fuel pumps and take lunch breaks which keeps the pumps tied up for some time. But much of the staff is pleasant and kind. You also get twice in rewards for desiel so that's nice. Best manager is Karissa and worst manager is Tracy. I don't go here anymore so I can be honestly. Karissa is really great and keeping a positive atmosphere in the place along with keeping it clean and in order. As soon as Tracy shows up I feel I entered a cemetery. I have never had a good interaction with her. She is that rude. All the workers under management are great. From the cook in the back to those running the register. Love em. Oh, do be careful buying food on clearance. Look at it carefully. Like if it was supposed to be refrigerated.

It's Saturday and its nice that there isn't a line at the fuel pumps, but truthfully, that's about the only good thing I can say about this place for today. After fueling, went inside to grab something to eat and the Deli was completely empty. Absolutely nothing hot to eat. There weren't even any hot dogs out. If you want a salad, fine, or a cold pre-made sandwich, you know, the type that's 90% bread then bon appetite. I mean would it kill them to make some chicken strips or something, hey even if its just 5 or 10 at a time. Places that pinch penny's to the point where they drive away customers are really starting to urk me. Truck drivers are working 24/7 places like this should remember this. I guess I'll just take my business to another location. There are plenty of other truck stops in this area.

Always clean and proper lightning in and out. Deli & hot case a bit on the expensive side. Fuel and gasoline average prices. Access in is easy Be careful heading south when exiting. The state needs to have a stop light at this intersection

This gas station was easy to find and had the best prices in the area for fuel.The place was clean and well kept and gas pumps work as they should.The place was well lit and had lots of advertising for food and beverage specials in the convenience store.I will definitely keep my eyes open for any other stations of this brand when I'm in the area they serve.

I turned in here thinking it wuz the TA. I'M GLAD I DID!!! Great little fuel spot. Store looks new and it's CLEAN including the restrooms. Ladies in here were very nice and polite. A very inviting place and I'm sure to return. THANK YOU!!!!

Zero should be a option. Second time we stopped for the deli bar second time at 12 noon they had no food nothing not even a hot dog. So guess it's our purchase at your competitor. Nice how PFJ can have a 7 cent per gallon difference at stations it runs at the same exit.

Listen a gas station is a gas station. I go there when I wanna buy cigarettes and fill my tank, and the people there are polite. They've always had gas and always had cigarettes and always had someone behind the counter ready to politely take my money. So there you go 5 stars

Nice "Gourmet Deli" you got here 2:30pm and there was absolutely no food... No pizza, no hot dogs, nothing.UPDATE: Stopped here AGAIN at 12:30pm on a Saturday, July 27th, a typical time to eat lunch. Once again, NO HOT FOOD!!! NO PIZZA, NOTHING ON THE ROLLER, NOTHING HOT TO EAT! I'm done coming here, it's a waste of my time. Its obvious y'all don't want truckers business here except to fuel and GTFO. My company doesn't even allow us to buy fuel from your Pilot Flying J companies because the whole corporation itself sucks! Downgraded to 1 star!
