We brought a very sick kitten here named Buford. It was during quarantine so we had to stay in the car. They brought him back out, said he was fine and charged us for a flea bath. They seemed confident he was okay because of the apparent fight he put up during the bath. But when they brought him out he was absolutely exhausted. Hardly moving and breathing short, rapid breaths. I’m not even sure they gave him subcutaneous fluids. If they did, they didn’t tell us. Buford passed away later that night. I’m not a professional, but even we could tell by how lethargic he was, the way he breathed, and how gaunt his face was that he was nearing the end. I don’t know how they thought he was fine. Even if they couldn’t have saved him, they could’ve done something to make him more comfortable in his last hours. Even euthanizing him would’ve been kinder than stressing him out with a bath when he was very clearly dying. I don’t know if the same people still work there, but they’ve lost our trust. We’ve stuck to the Albion vet or the Kendallville animal clinic from then on.

Abused and injured my dog! Returned after a questionable neuter, they took dog to back, returned dog with a cone on, and head in a strange position, one ear stuck back. Dog was terrified, did not eat nor drink and hid. Abnormal behavaiour as dog is a happy bouncy dog, we took collar off as his one ear was still stuck back on his head and he held his head strangly, removing collar did not change anything, his ear is stuck back and flat on his head! His head is till twisted. He is still stressed, and not the same dog that went in for antibiotics! What the hell did they do to this poor tiny dog?! Who beat and abused him? Who twisted his head and broke the cartalidge in his ear?!!! My poor dog is damaged and will never be the same little dog that went in to this place.

This is thee BEST vet office I have dealt with in a long time! I was there for a c section. They were extremely patient with me and my 🐶 . The vet listened to my concerns and never once did I feel like I was being judged❤️.They are not price gouging like a lot of corporate veterinarian offices do.I absolutely love it here and I would drive 10 hours over and over again just to use Dr King and his amazing staff!!! 100 out of 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️@King_Louie_Kennels

Did a great job on my little dog.They did several tooth extractions with sutures, antibiotics & painkillers.They even trimmed her nails while she was out.She's already feeling a million times better.They were really reasonable on price as well.I reccomend them

Absolutely love King Veterinary Clinic. We have taken our Furbaby Snickers there for years and have always been extremely happy with them. Recently we had to put our baby down due to an illness and we can not express enough the heartfelt and genuine compassion everyone showed us. It was and is so very appreciated. I would recommend King Veterinary Clinic 100% anyway of the week!!

I guess they only have one single phone line and you can't even be put on hold if they have another call. So you just have to call back and hope to get lucky 🤷‍♂️

King’s was amazing when they first opened. In the past few years they’ve had many staff changes and since then the service has become so poor. They do not keep good records, they will not remind you that have vaccines coming due. I was in with my dogs in March 2023 and asked a couple of times if they were all okay with vaccines, and they told me yes, that my dogs wouldn’t have any vaccines due for awhile and they said they’d let me know when the next was due. When I called in June 2023 to renew flea and heartworm, they told me that one of my dogs was overdue for rabies as of April 30, 2023. I can no longer trust anything they tell me at the front desk. Would not recommend them any longer. It saddens me to write this review as I always loved this vet clinic until recent years. Front desk people are also very condescending and rude.Edit to add: I tried bringing this incident to management’s attention, as I’ve been going to this vet for years. I was met with a letter asking me not to bring my pets here any longer. So disappointing. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a business I’ve supported for so long.

Everyone on staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.❤They were also very thoughtful and sensitive when we had one of our pets cremated, and were there for us during the end, even problem-solving via phone over the weekend.❤I highly recommend trusting your furry friends of all sizes to Kings. They are sweet, caring, most of all experienced, and will be there for you no matter what!

Wonderful staff and vets. We've been taking our senior cat here since we moved to the area 3 yrs ago. This visit we had a few concerns and after a blood test (the results were in our hands before we left) and a long discussion, we felt much better. Highly recommend.

Loved my experience here!!! Everyone is very kind, professional and knowledgeable. I have a new puppy and originally went to another vet and had a horrible experience, but as soon as I came to Kings they were able to diagnose and treat my puppy on the spot! So grateful for their help. They really do care about the well-being of your pet. Will definitely be coming back!

We have been with King since they opened, they did struggle through the "pandemic" to figure out the best way to provide care, but I think they did a great job. More recently I have not been satisfied with the service. Many times I have called in prescriptions and they haven't been ready the next day when I went to get them. Appointments seem rushed and less caring then they used to. They also have a person working there now whom I refer to as the pet police. She has been very rude with every encounter I've had with her. She scolded me like a child when I tried to schedule and appointment, she gives the 3rd degree when stopping to pick up scripts asking several times about who you are picking up for and who you are and asking for verifications that I have never been asked to provide before. She was also very rude to a gentleman who came in to pick up his dogs remains, by rudley asking who he brought in and showing no compassion for his loss. I don't think this woman properly represents the service we have received in the past and I hope that they do some reflection and remove this person and people like her. I know it's tough to find help right now but people will wait for excellent service and people will go elsewhere if they aren't getting it. I hope this helps.

Should be called ‘King Profit Center’I’ve been loyal for many years and multiple pets lives. Unfortunately I started to see through the business when my doctor was let go and I was juggled and treated as an inconvenience ever since. I have been spoken down to in such condescending tones by receptionists and have had to advocate hard for my dogs needs. Final straw was my dog having a severe allergic reaction, which they’ve seen him for a few times, I called for the RX going into a holiday weekend and they wouldn’t fill without seeing him. Fortunately I found our old vet practicing in the area and he helped get my dog feeling comfortable same day! Sadly this clinic hasn’t shown me they care about my pet- only their bottom line.Edit to respond:He had been seen multiple times this year. I would have been happy to bring him in if offered a reasonable timeline to be seen but since he was miserable and nothing was stopping I needed a quick solution.And if you wanted to talk, you would have but your staff wanted to talk to me like I don’t understand how business or medicine works, and if you know me that’s a funny conclusion. Happy to speak if you want to reach out.

Everyone here is so friendly. They treated my cats well and handled them with such care. They even gave me medicine for my other cat at home since he started getting sick too. Plus they are way cheaper than most.

Our first experience with King's was having to put our dog of 14 years down. While the process is difficult, we never felt rushed and we were treated very nice. They even sent a sympathy card signed by the staff. That kind of treatment goes a long way and we were very appreciative. Good business, great staff!!

Everything about Kings Veterinary Clinic is great! My parents changed vets over the past year and we couldn't thank them enough for their service!! They were able to get us in for an emergency visit two times! They offer cremation service for your pet. I also decided to take my cat there for service as well!! They were/are very professional, and have a lot of knowledge!!! We won't be taking our animals anywhere else !!!
