WORST DOLLAR GENERAL IN THE WORLD! If I could give 0 stars I would! Where shall I begin🤔. Their entire back parking lot is nothing but HUGE potholes. Its been this way ever since I can remember. Theres been zero attempt to have them filled in. Only one door to the building works so people are constantly bumping into each other. The floors are filthy. The shelves are NEVER stocked and often in the wrong areas. Prices are astronomically high. The items they have on "clearance" are not actually on clearance. Which is quite deceitful. They do it to sell older products by making you think youre are getting a deal because the price is on a yellow sticker. (I know this is a regular practice at DG because my sister in law used to work for them). If you happen to find items that are 50% off, the staff cannot and will not be bothered to give you the discount. We went in and bought items that were marked as clearance and they were supposed to be an additional 50% off. When we went to checkout, we provided one of the $5 off $25 or more coupons you recieve on your receipt for the weekend. We looked on out receipt and not only did we pay FULL PRICE for items that were supposedly 50% off but they also did not give us the $5 off our $300 total purchase! I went back in to speak to the manager who tried to bullcrap me and make up some excuse in an attempt to convince me that we did get the discount. Which was false because when I continued to make a big deal about it she said the only way to get the discount was to bring all the items back in, return them and repurchase them. This is not my only bad expierence with this particular DG. I really hope they get their act together. Otherwise I don't see this store staying open much longer. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The staff there is lacking in number and concern for their actual jobs. We just waited for the 2 cashiers working to assist a someone at the self checkout and then just walk away towards the back of the store with 5 people still waiting in line. One seemed to think he was above the other and when they headed back to the register after being chased down, he pulled his drawer and left the other handle the build up of customers waiting.When they have items in stock, it's a decent place to shop as long as you're not in ANY kind of hurry.

The store is clean and easy to navigate. The manager Beth is an absolute delight and a pleasure to talk to. Beth's positive attitude reflects on her co-workers, making each visit a great experience.

I have to agree with miss Brandi Tanner on her post about the parking lot and add the front doors closet to US-9 only one way in and out plus hard to open for the older ppl( like my mom 71yrs old) and ppl with canes. I think the place on the outside is in a desire need a face lift specifically on the US-9 side as right as it sets its looks runned dwn maybe new paint and signs since this the only cheap store in Lagrange since we lost our Family Dollar to fire some yrs back. Question was the store before it became Dollar General???? Ty have a blessed holidays

This store has done a 180° turn around , I would like the new store manager has worked magic on the entire store, and the employees are super. I have been in several times lately, Travis is always in a great mood and is as friendly as he can be , his parents have got to be proud of him as they should be .Great job Travis

This store is always filthy. Inside and out. Trash piled up outside the back door EVERY day. Floors seem to always need attention. Store items on the floors. We actually came in one early afternoon and came back again the next evening around 9:30 and there was chip dip still sitting out from the day BEFORE in the chip aisle. Its the only place in town to be able to shop somewhat cheaply. Just wish it wasn't so dirty..

Parking lot is in desperate need of fixing their pot holes the ramp is dangerous as someone could hit them with a vehicle theres no plublic bathrooms available please fix these issues and I will upgrade my stars as inside the store is ok staff is nice I like to shop here.

I bought items that were supposed to be 50% off. When I asked cashier she said it was taken off at the end. Looking closely at my receipt they were rung up at full price. Dollar General needs to change the way their cash register works so customers can tell what price they are paying for items. This is not the first time this has happened.

Whoever manages this store should be fired immediately. I've been in many Dollar Generals and this one is by far the most disgusting. Every time i have shopped here i am appalled at the condition of the store. The shelves are an absolute mess, completely disorganized, every single aisle has stuff ALL over the floors, the floors themselves look like they havent been washed in 10+ years. It literally looks like a mini tornado went through this place and its not a one time observation. Im in here about every other week and it always looks that way.

For a quick trip it's pretty useful. Entertainment purchases is a little lacking but It has a variety of essentials and snacks. Not the best looking or organized looking establishment. It gets the job done regardless.

Was there Aug 29th and a woman left her kids locked in her vehicle, said something to the manager who responded with.. "there s nothing I can do about that" are you kidding me right now?!? I did though, called the police and I hope her kids were taken from her, they were maybe 3-5 yrs of age!!

I wanted to buy trash bags that were on sale 2 for $9.00 (you had to buy 2 to get the sale price). There was only one box on the shelf so I asked a young man, who was stocking shelves if they have more. He refused to go get them in the back room. Customer service is not so great!

This is my go to store anymore. I live closer to a different Dollar Store but I have found that the LaGrange Dollar Store is my favorite. Between the friendly cashiers whi are always wearing a smile, and willing to the energy and time to make sure that you have found everything you came into the store to purchase. I feel they go above and beyond to make sure each and every customer is satisfied with their visit to their store. Thank you LaGrange Dollar Store.

The selection is okay. The store is an old grocery store that I used to work at and is in dire need of updating. They did fix a few of the large potholes in the parking lot, that was good to see.

This is a good place to shop for convenience. The employees are friendly and willing to help direct you to the correct isle if you cannot find the item(s) you are looking for.

Rude check out girl. No hello, no bag for 3 shirts I purchased the she just stood there waiting for me to pick up my shirts. Seriously this girl needs to work in the back stock room away from customers.

It was not a good visit at all... Yes they had things i went in there to get but the store is a mess and not organized at all and there was only one person checking people out.... Thats not fair to that person!!! There was 8 people in front me and waited for 30 minutes just to check out
