The scheduler was friendly, helpful, and flexible, very easy to work with.The installers called ahead of time, at least an hour before coming out both times. They were very professional and so efficient with their trade, nice to see.I really liked our salesperson, no pressure, friendly, and seemed honest, as far as that goes.I would have left 5 stars except for the fact that my living room Windows were incorrectly measured causing two trips and hence a delay in the finished product.I would definitely recommend this company if you are in the market for Windows.Service: Vinyl window installation & replacement

The lead installer I felt was not a people person. Easily frustrated during install and when I ask a question he was a little short with his response.I understand people have bad days, however they need to be more professional and make the customer feel their purchase deserves a little bit of kindness.After all if not for customers, they would have jobs.The 2nd guy wasn't very informative on the product. I ask about a screen and he said that the canopy windows do not come with a screen. But in fact it does.More knowledge of your products and kindness will go a long way.Service: Vinyl window installation & replacement

Professional service from everyone in the company I had contact with. The installer was beyond outstanding. I’ve never seen a better job. The windows are beautiful and have really improved the look of our house in addition to increasing its value. You can’t tell they are replacement windows unlike some others I’ve seen. They also installed a sliding glass door where a window was before. It’s beautiful and looks as though it has always been there. The price was reasonable and affordable. Professional! Brought samples, and friendly!, installers were on time and courteous. I originally gave 5 stars and dropped one because of two things, #1. lack of knowlage on installers parts to diagnose a simple malfunction of slider door. The blind slider in my sliding door was thought broken when in fact it was just connected to the wrong magnet. Simple adjustment on my part and it works perfectly. #2 the salesman did not notice or notate, that my drywall went all the way to my existing slider door. This meant that I would need trim once the new sliding door was installed. My brand new slider looks a bit unsightly currently, as I will need to trim back the spay foam insulation that is hanging out, repair some drywall, and frame out the door with trim. I would have paid for this as extra, but I didn't know it would be needed. (Why I highered someone else to do the job instead of doing it myself) Still really happy with the work! The installers even wrapped a board under my windows to make it look better! (this wasn't in the job description) the window installation was perfect! Only issue is with the sliding door. And... it is still a very nice door! Very happy, I was given the option of having them come out to finish the door. I declined as if I do it myself I can pick what kind of trim I'd like and have it installed on my day off, instead of taking more PTO.I had a good experience, service was just shy of perfect! The installation was fast once the windows we ordered came in. However, the installers did not foam seal the window when they replaced them and this ended up causing a leak. It took over a month to get the repair done. They wanted pictures of the leak, which I sent. Then they asked for a picture of the entire window. Then I was called at 5:30pm to ask if I was available for them to come out the next morning as if I don’t have a job. I said no and they called the next week at 4pm to see if I was available the next morning for the repair as if calling me 90min earlier in the day would change the fact that I have to work. Finally we were able to schedule the repair for two weeks later. The same contractor showed up that initially installed the windows. I watched this time to make sure it was fixed and when he pulled the molding off, you could see over a one inch gap between the window frame and the house. He filled it with foam then sealed the molding outside of the house with silicone because they didn’t seal it when they installed the windows and it was peeling away from the siding. On the paperwork he wrote “re-foamed the window”. Re-foamed??? It was never foamed to begin with! The windows themselves seem to be good, but customer service after install and the independent contractor that installed them are rather lackluster. So, I had forgotten a digit on the lock box to get in the property… They were very polite about that. They hauled off a sliding door frame and doors as part of the contract… The clean up was solid. The outstanding thing?… They installed a piece of trim on a frame that needed it, but was not their responsibility, and it looks great. We did not notice right away, but it was ridiculously heartwarming when we did notice. A beautifully played note of just plain nice. Thank you.

I recently had 10 windows replaced during a house renovation for an Airbnb for $9000. After waiting 5 months for the windows to arrive, they were the wrong size. They said they would expedite the new windows. Six weeks later, the new windows were scheduled for delivery however they were reportedly dropped in the factory and it took an additional five weeks to get the windows re-made. Because of these delays, I missed nearly the entire football season revenue for the Airbnb.I asked for it a reasonable discount on the remaining balance as a good will gesture on their part. The best that Window World would do was give me a 2% discount for the inconvenience. Their explanation to me is that they do not have a customer satisfaction guarantee nor any guarantee for timelines of delivery or installation. To make matters worse, the windows were dirty after installation and much of these marks on both the glass and the frames did not come off with soap and water or any glass cleaner I tried. Although everyone I dealt with was nice enough, the bottom line is “buyer beware”. I felt at ease with them in my home and I am more than satisfied overall with their product combined with their workmanship. Mike and his partner were on time, couteous, and professional. I received a phone call the day of to advise of their arrival time. They were thorough and asked questions and made suggestions regarding the installation. When the job was complete, they cleaned up inside and out. I would like them to be the installers for the next set of windows. Very pleased. 2017Mike and his crew just finished a second installation 2018. I had them do the rest of the windows (5) in the house and the back external door and storm door. I am thrilled with the results. Quality product. Quality installation. Quality installers.

The reason why it did not get a 5 star review is because we had to wait several months for installation. Then at 4pm the day before the installation we were notified that it had to be rescheduled two weeks out and it could possibly be rescheduled again. As I am working remote with my 3 year old and have a dog, neither could be present during the installation, it was unprofessional, inconsiderate and very inconvenient to cancel and reschedule 2 weeks later with less than 24 hour notice. Fast forward 2 weeks later, the actual installation afternoon went well and workers were professional. So far, the quality of the windows has been great!Service: Window installation

The guys were a little late due to problems at the prior job, but that was no problem. We understood. They stayed until the job was done and cleaned up. They showed us how to operate the windows. I recently purchased a home with some of their windows in it. Unfortunately one of the windows had broken pivot pins and wouldn't stay up. I called the store and they worked with me very well and shipped me the parts needed to repair the window. Great customer service and great people. Ordered our windows on January 29th, wanted them installed on April 2nd since we would be on vacation. They called repeatedly wanting to move up the date and we said no. The morning of our install a man named Scott to inform us that they had all our windows but not our patio door. Couldn’t tell me why they didn’t have it just that they didn’t and would rush order one. This did not make me very happy. How could u not know you were missing part of an order. The workers came that day and put our windows in. I have no problem with their installers they were very professional and did a great job. One week later Scott calls says our patio door is in can the come on the 16th of April to install it, that we would be the first appointment of the day. I have to take a day off work to have it done, imagine my surprise when the installers don’t show up until 11:30. I do not consider that the first appointment of the day. I don’t like being lied to, I could have worked half a day had I known. I would not recommend this company to do any work. The installers are great but the office people leave a lot to be desired. I have a friend that called them to replace his patio door. They cancelled the first appointment and rescheduled for the next day. They never showed up and never called him.

The window looked great after being put in, but then we had to have the siding around in replaced. The contractor that did the siding noticed that they did not insulate the inside of the bottom of the window which he took care of at that time. I did it call about this because it was corrected by the other contractor but I feel like it should have been done with the installation.Service: Window installation

My experience with Window World was overall good. I love the quality of material & the price is 2 to 3 timescheaper compared to all the other competitors. My mistake was not going & checking every window withthe technician before leaving. I have 3 windows that trim is coming loose & the outside trim could be better.There was stuff splashed on the siding that wasn’t cleaned off. I called the salesman & was insured that it will be taken care of.

After first being treated rudely by the call service they use, we were finally able to schedule a window estimate at our house. After no one showed,we called and were told by Window World staff in FortWayne that we had no appointment, they had none of my info and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. After speaking to 2 employees finally was told "well if I cancel some things I can come out in about 3 hrs" which we agreed to. No apology. Gentleman showed up at stated time, took all of 15 minutes, left estimate and departed. Again no apology or acknowledgement of frustrations. Spoke to 3rd employee that evening by calling back in response to a text message I received from Window World on the day I made the original appointment. It was from the employees personal phone and she actually remembered talking to me and was present with the other 2 employees when I was speaking to them earlier. Whether she told them I was not nuts and did schedule an appointment or whether the other 2 just chose to ignore that fact, I don't know. The quote was very reasonable and I have seen their windows in a coworkers house, good quality. Because of the terrible customer service , however, We will find someone else, even if more costly.

We scheduled with them 2 weeks prior to when they could fit us in. The Friday before they were due to show up on Monday evening we get a text message confirmation of our appointment. A few minutes later we get another message asking if they could move the appointment to the next Thursday in the morning. When I made the original appointment I informed them that we work and needed an evening appointment. I responded to the text telling them I am sorry, but we need an evening appointment. They then asked could they do a virtual visit. They made us feel that it wasn’t worth the effort to keep an appointment that was made 2 weeks prior. We now have 2 other companies giving us quotes. Won’t be contacting Window World again!

Phone calls weren't that great since Noone would call back. The first time we had them come out the installers were horrible. It sounds like from reviews they are a decent company however our experience was not a good one. Long story short, they damage our current windows BEFORE they said they could not replace them. So we were stuck figuring out a way to keep any bugs and now the coldness out till we can get them replaced 😡. I will not be using window world (of Lafayette) again!!
