Location is well maintained and clean. Employees are amazing and very nice, helped me find everything I needed. Had an issue at checkout and two employees came to help quickly clear the issue. No power saws at this location to cut wood, but there are hand saws. Was able to cut wood to preference.

Only giving this review because there is an employee there by the name of Logan that I would assume is in some way affiliated with online purchases. If I have any advice, they should teach anyone and everyone there what it is like to have customer service. I hope this lovely human is accommodated for the amazing effort that is put in with their interaction's.

Just a good old Home Depot. Great selection of stuff but service has been better. If you need someone to unlock the cage to get some tools, you can be waiting for a while. I wanted 2 Milwaukee tools and waited at least 20 minutes before someone showed up to help me.

I really love this store. I've been in several locations but the staff here is just extra nice, patient and helpful. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite shopping destinations. To be critical, there are often pallets of items left unattended in aisles that can be annoying but it's likely due to getting pulled to help a customer.

Where to start. Placed an order for over 2000 dollars worth of lumber for delivery. Online said it would be here the next day. So placed the order . Got an email that said their system is down and they wouod contact me in 48 hrs to schedule a delivery. Which wouldn't work. Called the lafayette store talked to them. After 3 times calling the same day as several hours passed by and I needed to know whether I was going to have to cancel or if it would be delivered. I was told they got it to be the next day. I told the lady on the phone please make sure your order pickers do not send cracked or warped boards as it is for an outside deck, the lady said she will male sure that the boards are excellent amd not to worry. The driver shows up and calls me and tells me he can't pull into my drove as it is not big enough. My driveway is over 60 foot long amd has a backing area that he could get out. He said he will have to take the lumber back. AFTER telling him that he needs to deliver and there is plenty of room he delivers it . I unwrap all the plastic and it's a nightmare. Several 2x6 boards warped and cracked and chunks missing. Out of my deck boards around 53 of the 144 have to be returned. I live an hour and 10 minutes away. Called the logansport home depot and they were nice enough to.say I can bring them in and exchange them for better boards. I WILL NEVER SHOP LAFAYETTE STORE AGAIN. Don't say your going to make sure they are good and not do it.

I recently purchased a DeWalt drill combo set that came with a “free” router, the order was split into two shipments and the router was delivered to the wrong location. I spent over two hours between Home Depot’s 800 number cust service and Chase (my cc) trying to get a resolution. Then I tried my local store where the router was shipped from. The manager listened to my situation and did his due diligence investigating and concluded that it was indeed the fault of the 3rd party delivery service. NOT ONLY did the manager respond to me personally and promptly but he drove a new router directly to my house, himself, within the hour. That was so far above and beyond the resolution I expected. I’ll be shopping my local Home Depot often; it’s the local people that shine ✨

Hey, Folks! Home Depot, a Home Improvement Store for whatever your next weekend project is going to be, or if you have a major renovation happening. Home improvement carries exactly what you need. My neighbor and I was there, and my neighbor was buying a tool for my roommate. Myself, I used to do some woodcarving, quite some time ago, and thought to myself I was going to pick it back up. So I ordered a Dremel tool online, but it didn't come with barely any bits for it. So, while I was there, I found a few, and one of the particular ones I needed. So I grabbed those bit and they didn't have this other one, but I'm also picking my glass etching back up as well. Honestly, my brother said they was pretty hard to find these days. I carve these boots out of hardwoods or some exotic hardwoods, like Babinga, or Paduka, Purpleheart, Teak Olive Cherry, Oak, Black Oak, etc. I'm a cancer survivor, so I am going to carve some more of these up, only takes me about 10 minutes per boot. Anyway, great store, before I got cancer, my career was a carpenter. Love wood. Hope this helps, staffs great and very helpful too.

Bought a fridge and stove at HOME DEPOT in Lafayette and paid extra so they could haul away the old ones…It’s been 3 weeks and we’re still waiting for them to come pick them up. They are constantly rescheduling the haul-away. Also the delivery men made sure they put the fridge right against the wall to keep me from seeing all the dents on that side. Of course I signed the delivery sheet so “it’s too late to exchange it”.Just wanted to share this with others so it doesn’t happen to you. Still waiting for haul away.

Wanted to get carpeting done and turned to Home Depot first. They came out to take measurements and I explicitly pointed out that my current flooring was asbestos tiling to ask if it would be a problem. The man taking the measurements said he wasn't sure and to ask once I get the actual quote. A few days go by and they call to give me the quote, so I ask about the tiling. They say they'll double-check and call me back later. Okay, they call back later and say that the tiling won't be a problem so I pay and schedule the installation. Day of the installation comes and they never show up, takes hours of calling Home Depot before I get a hold of someone who seemed even remotely interested in helping me. Turns out the contractor had last minute concerns about the asbestos tiling (despite it previously not being a problem). After several days of no more answers I go to the store and they tell me that I can't do it without removing the tiles (a quick search on the internet will tell you that you don't need to remove tiles to put carpet over it) so I got a refund. Normally don't review for services I refund but this situation was so frustrating and wasted so much of my time I felt compelled to

I have always liked Home Depot. They have a large selection of just about anything you want. Always friendly and willing to help you find what you're looking for. The one thing I would like to see is more products made in the USA and less from China. I believe that their customer base would increase dramatically if this would happen.

Bought refrigerator online scheduled delivery Thursday. At installation, they said we needed new connection hose. Called plumber to install and they disagreed that we needed new hose but they did it anyways. Delivery delayed until Tuesday. Water and ice doesn't work. My working dishwasher doesn't have water now. I don't know who home Depot contracts for installation, but I'm never buying anything from home Depot again.

I'd be more than willing to give Home depot a much higher review for the knowledgeable and friendly staff on the inside of the store. They really helped make the purchase of our new washer and dryer better. What brings this down so far is the third party delivery crew. Despite having a 1pm to 5pm window to deliver to us on both delivery attempts, they ended up bringing it at 11am the first time and 9am the second time and made no real attempt to let us know they were there. On the second time, as they were installing, they called another customer to let them know that they would be 4 hours late.

I was having a good experience at first until it came to check out. When I was picking out peel and stick tiles the store manager was helping us because it was close to time the store was closing. Two of the boxes that I wanted was opened and she said she could give us 50% off for each box that is opened. Very generous lady btw. Her name was Amy. This is were my experience turned bad. We are at the check out checking out and we told the guy checking us out that that some lady (Amy) said that we can get at discount. Some lady that said she was the manager which is clearly not a manager only a team lead comes over and says I won’t give you a 50% discount and will never give anyone that kind of discount. It was the way she said it. I was like I can go find the lady that said this and she said I will never give that type of discount out I will know give you at most a 10%. So I just said whatever and preceded to check out and pay. While this was all happening my dad went to go try and find her. So I payed and started walking towards my car and I seen the lady that said she would give me the 50% and I went to tell her what happened. She took me to the front and gave me some of my money back. Amy was the lady that was helping me out and I highly appreciate her she is the best. And the lady that claimed to be a manager but is only a team lead is a B***h.

Worst experience EVER. go anywhere else for flooring. purchase a whole house worth of flooring on 11/7 and promised install by Christmas. No call, not check-ins, not even return calls after repeatedly left messages. Now 1/9 and finally had install scheduled, but home depot failed to deliver the hardwood, and NEVER even called us to updater us until we called them. supposedly rescheduled the delivery for today, but did they cancel their installer? NO. So installers showed up and we don't even have the flooring yet. Then we got a call from installer manager who were upset with us for not cancelling them, didn't reschedule yet, and hung up on us.2+ months - still no floor and now no install date set AGAIN.Just plain incompetent.

We had to travel a long distance to get to this location but they had everything we needed to fill our large order. The store was well stocked neat and clean . The staff was friendly and helpful. Context for the following reviewHome Depot designed my kitchen remodel and I purchased all the materials through the store. The initial ordering and designing went very smoothly. It was when my countertops were to be delivered that everything began to fall apart.I am very dissatisfied with the lack of communication surrounding my delivery date being changed. I understand that delays happen, but I was not notified until the time had and come and gone the day I was given for delivery and installation of the countertops. After that, no one would reach back out to me about this situation to do any sort of service recovery, instead, Home Depot placed the blame on the Countertop Factory and the Countertop Factory placed the blame on Home Depot. I eventually reached out to the employee that helped me order the products, and she was responsive, but almost brushed off my concerns because "they promised you a very quick time that they probably should not have." That is not my problem. And again, it was not the delay that upset me, it was the total lack of communication about the service being delayed.My next concern is the poor quality of work that was put into installing the sink. I assume that since the Countertop Factory requires their employees install the sink, they would know what they are doing. That is not the case. There are holes and gaps between the adhesive around my sink. It is likely to separate from the countertop with a full load of dishes or the weight of water. Again, when I reached out, I was blamed for this, stating that my cabinet size was the problem. I guess because a Home Depot employee designed this kitchen, and then helped assist in choosing the sink, it would really, in fact, be on Home Depot for not following the guidelines needed for the measurements and proper installation of the sink to avoid damages from use. I asked about what my options were as far as a solution, to which I was ignored for several days, then told, don't worry about it, and if you do anything to remedy the problem your warranty is negated.To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. I understand the service industry and I know what appropriate communication looks like. Home Depot and the Counter Top Factory are neither of those things. I will not be returning to the retail store and I will make sure every single individual who asks knows that I was treated very poorly. I spent thousands of dollars and I am sure Dawn-the employee who helped design this mess was making some sort of commission. Too bad once the money was paid everyone stopped caring.The photos are the sink that was installed and I am being told to trust that it will not separate from the counter when dishes or water is putting stress on it.So in closing, my suggestion for how you could provide a better experience would be to go to Menards.
