Great place! Our big 11 month puppy seemed to be pretty happy. Place is clean - did not have any funky smells - for having a ton of dogs there over 4th of July weekend, I would say that's a good sign great price too for a 3 day stay. Our dog was clean and happy when we picked him up.

Our dogs LOVE going here. We have been to a couple other places in town and they were NEVER excited when we would pull in. Our pomsky and Chihuahua mix go crazy when we pull in. It makes us feel so much better knowing they love it there!!

We have been taking our dogs to the Dog House of Lafayette, IN for over 10yrs & we have always had excellent service!! The owner & staff are all dog lovers and take excellent care of all the dogs & the facility. I would highly recommend them!!!

We have used them for a few years. Had decent service: nothing fancy. Our dog always shaked like a leaf going in. My wife suspected something was happening to her but I thought she was silly. UNTIL YESTERDAY. I picked up our dog. She came out crying. Was in obvious pain. She cried all night. Could not lay or sit. Absolutely terrified to go into our fenced in back yard. She has an injured leg, and the owner claims she “was perfectly fine.” She refuses to help with any medical costs and refuses to take any responsibility. The owner, Abby, claims she was the only person who let our dog out. We will never go back.

I brought my dog here for the first time for 3 nights while going out of town. My dog has never been boarded or to a doggy daycare so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Drop off and pick up were easy. Rates were great. I asked for feedback on how my dog did during her stay and got a little feedback; maybe I would have liked more details/review of her stay. But overall I was pleased and will definitely use them again.

We've been bringing our pups here for years, and we've always been impressed by the kindness, attention to detail, and friendliness of the employees here. They seem to genuinely love all the dogs they work with, and our dogs always look (and smell) great after a grooming!

I have been taking my dogs to the dog house for the past 4 years. My dogs LOVE to go here. Every time I pick them up they are always happy. I know part of it is because they finally get to see me after a week :) The staff seem to be very loving to the animals as well. The groomer does an amazing job with the dogs too. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This place is awesome, we have boarded our Great Pyrenees and our shitzu there for the last 2 vacations we took, and they have done a super job. The last time which was just recently, I asked if they could possibly groom them both and they did a fantastic job. I will always take my pets to this place, they are very good people. I highly recommend them.

They took very good care of my service Doberman. No weight loss, he was clean. Needed more exercise is only complaint. Was impressed with my kennel bill. No hidden charges and was less than expected.

We bring our two very shy/skittish greyhounds here for nail trims, and we don't take them anywhere else. The groomer is so great with them, and they're very picky about people.The Dog House also carries the Fromm food we feed our dogs at the best local price, so we come in for that as well. Who we don't board the dogs here (and dont board them anywhere, to be fair), or come in for daycare, the dogs that we see here are always watched and seem very happy and well taken care of. Great local business!

We frequent The Doghouse often for both grooming and boarding. Our two dogs have always been well taken care of when staying there. Also, our little Maltese gets his haircut there. The groomer always does quality work.

We have used this company to keep our Beagle while we are away. No problems the first couple times. But the last two times he has come home and developed Kennel Cough. The first time we just let it go and did not realize the cough was Kennel Cough. This time he came home and developed a severe case of KC took him to our local Vet and got confirmation that our dog had KC. Cost was $ 66 plus prescriptions. So if you love your dog and want to keep him safe Do Not use the company. There are other dogs that have KC from here per the reviews. Will ask for the Dog House to refund our money for the vet or our money for the day care. BTW he was there for 3 days. Update: Kennel confirmed they have had few cases of KC, won't pay my bills ( over $77 ) won't refund the day care. Says all shots are not guaranteed to work just like flu shots humans get. I will agree with them on that. But they should post a sign stating there have been cases of KC and beware. Will Never Use Them Again.

I have been taking our two dogs here for since the place opened. I am EXTREMELY happy with the establishment. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. We have had to use them for extended periods of time and every time we pick our animals up, you can just tell they had fun. We really like the "do-it yourself " wash stations. Also, very convenient to have a groomer on hand so your dog smells nice and fresh when we pick them up. I would highly recommend The Dog House for you animal’s next overnight visit. Also having a stressful day just stop by and watch the dogs play in the basketball court sized room, guaranteed to take all your stresses away.Robert HancockBeck's Auto Center

We have been happy with the services from the dog house. Our dog did get a fairly severe bite from another dog while in the play area - however it was handled appropriately. These things will inevitably happen when large groups of dogs gather. Our dog is always happy when she comes home. The staff is friendly and seem to love dogs.

We bring our Rottweiler here on a semi-regular basis, and he loves it. He's always happy to go there, comes back happy and healthy, and I can rest assured they are taking good care of him.The fact they they are open until 7PM every day is a HUGE bonus to us, as it often means we get to have him back with us sooner, or that we can keep him longer before we have to board him.Overall, I would happily recommend the Dog House as a kennel to anyone.

We take our German Shorthaired Pointer to the Dog House any time we are going to be out of town. He LOVES it. Daycare every day and kennel at night wears him out, which makes for happy owners when we pick him up! Fair price, and great hours of availability. Thanks for taking such great care of him!!

We have used the Dog House for maybe 5 years (can't exactly remember) and our dog loves it. The second we are inside he is charging for the door to join the other dogs. When he enters the playroom he is greeted by the attendant who holds his head, looks him in the eyes and talks to him. We are thankful for a wonderful place for our dog to stay while we are away.

Had my pet CoCo Board there I couple of times. The only Pet Boarding Facility in Lafayette area, who is open from 7 Am to 7 PM including Saturday and Sundays, making it easy and providing convinient timing to drop off and pickup our pets.Haven't yet tried the daycare yet but will update reviews as according.

Wish I could rate them 0 stars. Took our dog here for a weekend and when we picked him up he was a different dog, acting like he never has before. First off he was really skinny, and the food returned to us that we sent with him showed to me he did not get the amount we said. It should have been about empty, and was in fact only half gone. Second he has been potty trained for a long time and has gone in the house multiple times after returning home. This tells me he did not get to go outside the 5 times a day we were told he would get to. Third he came back to us smelling like he laid in his own urine the entire time. If they go in there cage because you don't let them out frequently enough then you need to clean it up, that's your job. Fourth, they decided to take his collar off for some reason. When I picked him up they said they couldn't get it back on so they were walking him on a leash that got tighter and choked him as he pulled on it. And finally, the icing on the cake. Our dog ended up getting kennel cough so now I get to pay a vet bill that i was not expecting. I will never return here for services nor will I ever recommend it to anyone else. The care they promise to give is obviously not the care the animals receive.

A couple of years ago I used to take my dog here almost every day for day care. I received a phone call one day while at work saying that he had a small cut from playing rough with another dog so they removed him from the play room. When I picked him up I realized this was no small cut - another dog had ripped his private parts wide open. The owner was very uncooperative, extremely rude and was not willing to help pay any of his very expensive emergency vet bills. I would not take your pet to this place.

This place is nice!! I have two geriatric dogs and they take super good care of them....putting special mats on the floor to avoid the fall risk with my old "men." Accomodating. Friendly. Fancy! 10' x 10' luxury suites with televisions!

I used to love this place, but the customer service is hit and miss and the main thing is nobody is informed ON ANYTHING. Organizational issues. And I had not one but TWO friend that used to work there and say the people are just mean and bossy but still have little to no organizational skills. The groomer is great... When you can catch her.. But personally since they don't even know when she is available I wouldn't waste the gas.

The Dog House is the best! They treat my dog like she is one of their own. She is always so excited when we pull in and exhausted and happy after a long day of daycare.
