Absolutely the best doggy daycare around. The facilities and doggy community are great, but it's the staff that is priceless. Amazing staff members, each and every one of them. They all love the dogs and invest so much of themselves in their work.

I went on vacation out of the country. I had never had a pet boarded bye any one but a family member so I took a chance on pooch and play . I was thinking the worst but I text them they assured me that Lightning was doing well he is loved on bye everyone. To say that he got a bath and trimmed his .smelling good . They have a very clean building. I would take my dog ther there very affordable on grooming and all they do there. Love this place number 1in my book

Love that they can do a grooming, boarding and daycare. The staff is super friendly and you know they love the animals with how the receive and take care of the animals. Thankful they have so many ways to contact them. I love to text them to set up a grooming or to double check a boarding.

I cannot give them enough stars! Pooch and Play is absolutely the place you should bring your dog for any need, from day care to grooming. They take fantastic care of my Holly and her tail starts to wag as soon as we pull into the parking lot. They even put on an impromptu birthday party for her! I cannot recommend Pooch and Play and their entire staff enough!!

My dog comes here regularly (3-4 days a week) and she loves being here. Friendly and caring staff.

I initially was only going to use them for grooming because I was looking for a fear-free establishment to work with my slightly nervous rough collie, but they soon won me over and now he also does daycare and boarding with them. Turns out he likes being social when I'm not around. He willingly abandons me once he sees staff and comes home tired from all the fun he has (I've heard he likes to sunbathe a lot). I also chose them because they are a smaller facility and I felt my pet would do best with more personal care and less crowded play areas. It's fun looking for him in the frequently uploaded videos and photos they post to their social media. Staff is always very nice and ask me questions if they aren't sure about something, to make sure Skylos gets the best while he's in their care <3

My puppy has his best time here. He comes home exhausted and content. The supervised playroom are perfect for any temperamental dogs

They are great with our 3 year old Yorkie. She loves everyone there and can’t wait to get inside. They are very creative with special activities and events for the dogs. Most important, we know she will always be safe and well cared for. Take your dog there.

Friendly helpful staff and a great experience for our dog. We started bringing our dog here after another daycare said she was to nervous. But the amazing staff at pooch at play helped bring out get confidence little by little staying get in the room with smaller dogs and working her up to playing and burning off her extra energy with the big dogs. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to send their dogs while they work.

Have taken my dog here on numerous occasions when I have to be out of town for a weekend. Shadow is always clean, happy, and always smells great when I pick her up. Staff is friendly, great with my dog, who is usually a bit timid around new people, but was never timid with them. Would definitely recommend for overnight boarding.

I took my dog to the day care here for awhile but stopped in January of 2021. I give it a two star because my dog loved going. When we pulled in she was excited to go and be there. Apparently it seemed to be one sided. I was asked to stop bringing my dog on certain days because they were the busy days for the center and my dog had the zoomies and just never seemed to calm down. Now I understand that can be a little exhausting because trust me I get it. But they were basically asking me to change my schedule or not bring her on those days because they have too many other dogs. My dog is high energy. It is who she is and I felt that they could not handle her so I decided to take her somewhere else. I did not talk to the manager because at that point damage was done. If you have a high energy dog that just has the zoomies i would recommend taking them somewhere else because I believe they book too many dogs for daycare to be able to handle dogs who are high energy.

I have been taking my dog here for months and they’ve always been really wonderful. I appreciate that they knew my dog by name and gave me updates on how he acted throughout the day. He was always really happy to go, and seemed to genuinely like the people there. We never had any bad incidents and I thought their prices were really fair. The only reason we stopped going is that we moved from the area. Otherwise, I’d be taking Rye back all the time.A heartfelt thank you from me and Rye for being so excellent :)

I left my dog here to go on a trip to Texas. unfortunately I came back to my dog having a seizure, and this had never happened to him at any of his other boarding.

My pooch has been going here for daycare at least once a week since they opened and they are great! The workers and owners are very nice and always let me know if my dog has had any issues (or done anything amusing) when he's there. I also use their grooming and boarding services and have always been happy with them.

I boarded my dog here twice and both times I had issues. The second time I received my dog back injured. They didn't even attempt to stop the bleeding that was coming from his leg. Kendra told me he caught his leg on his cage. I have never had a problem getting my dog in and out of a cage which means they were most likely being rough with him. This happened in December 2019 and my dog is still having leg issues. I have reached out to them to try and get a better understanding as to what happened and they have yet to respond. So if you would like for your dogs to be treated well I would suggest not taking them to Pooch at Play.

I mostly use the daycare for my separation anxiety pooch. He loves it because he can play and get all the pets and cuddles from the staff. The car ride home he's usually already falling asleep from too much fun. I've used boarding a few times with no issues

I have taken my dog here several times to have his nails cut. He's a bit skiddish around strangers, but he seems to relax in the arms of the employees there. Up until last month I had been grooming him myself, but decided to try having him groomed - It was his first professional grooming. It all went very well, the groomer did a very nice job and I will be returning. I plan to be a regular customer.

I have been taking my dog to this daycare almost every day for well over a year now and I can honestly say they have done an exceptional job with her. I myself worked at a doggie daycare for 3 years while attending college. I know what to look for and I know where to spot their flaws. My pooch at play is a fantastic facility. When I first adopted I got a dog who suffers from some of the most sever separation anxiety that I have seen. She was dropped off 3 times before I got her because no one could handle it. When I first brought her to the daycare I wasn't not sure how they would deal with her but whatever they did they did it right. This is the only place I can take my dog where she doesn't lose her freaking mind the moment I walk out of her sight. In fact if I let her, she will pull me to the door. She walks towards the door where the other dogs are without a moment of hesitation. I know she is well taken care of and I have never seen anything but a very sanitary environment. At least as sanitary as a daycare full of dogs can possibly be.I openly endorse this facility any time I hear anyone talk about looking for somewhere to leave their dog while on vacation. If I were you and I was weighing all of the reviews I would ignore the one owner who seemed to have a horrific experience. Speaking from personal experience there are some people who are impossible to please. Those hours are likely reserved for cleaning and preparing the facility. Getting upset that an employee didn't break standard procedures without first consulting the owners is unreasonable. For all we know that customer regularly caused issues and this was just the last straw forcing them to ask them not to come back.

It’s been nothing but bad experiencesAlways getting phone calls while I’m at work, they don’t understand that the reason why they have my dogs is so I don’t have to worry about them while I’m at work.!UNORGANIZED!!!!!!I paid $300 for my dogs to go 10 days, the next visit the girl runs out after me and says “you have to pay! Wait!”I said “I just paid 300 last time, figure it out” then got into my car.My dog is allergic to chicken so I take dog food that she can eat, they don’t feed it to her. She breaks out in hives but I let it go because I think “well it’s probably just a bunch of young girls that don’t really know any better”So I say something to the desk girl she writes it down...Then they are instructed to leave my dog and pup in a cage because they just got shots and fixed, they call 2 hours after having them saying they don’t have records when they’ve been emailed and saying that the pup can’t come until 3 rounds of shots. No one ever said that to me but they let my pup sit at their place for two hours before a call. ???? How does that make sense? Something should have been said before? Then the girl proceeds to scream at me over the phone!!!! While I’m at work:)Plus it’s dirty and there are no toys because “some dogs have toy aggression..” ok then they shouldn’t be at daycare!!!Just pay the extra money to have your dog go somewhere nice I promise it’s worth it in the long run!

I called to schedule a grooming appointment, a week in advance which is typically how long it takes to get in to any groomer. I was told an appointment time to come in and that I was booked for his grooming. I randomly got a call from them 2 days before his appointment without a voicemail. I called back and no one answered so I left a message to have them return my call for why they called me. I finally got a hold of them... They wondered why I had even contacted them and did not even know why someone had called me. I told them that I had scheduled an appointment for grooming. They insisted they did not have a record of him having an appointment or that the groomer is even scheduled to work at the hour - in fact the groomer does not come in that day at all. Pretty disappointing because if I hadn't of figured out why they called me I would have taken him there without knowing they never even scheduled him. Now we will have to wait yet again another week to book an appointment somewhere else. My boy is pretty big and he is pricey to get groomed but he is sweet and we will be taking our service somewhere else because seems like it is not welcome here.

Edit to add since after my original review 5 years ago they now care. You have had contact with my dogs under my maiden name for a walk in nail trim. The staff was not only extremely rude to me but to my dogs as well. If zero stars was an option zero would have been given.

We have been coming here for a few years for grooming. Never had any trouble, very friendly. They seem to do a good job and are flexible with scheduling.

I personally would not bring my dog to this facility. I had an interview here, granted, it was a few years ago so things may have changed (I sure as hell hope they have), and on the day of my first interview they put me into the room with all the dogs alone. Luckily, I understood dog behavior/body language from being properly trained at another facility. One of the rooms was also left unsupervised. This is so dangerous because, no matter how well the dogs have gotten along in the past or even earlier in the day, things can escalate in seconds. They also weren't letting dogs outside to use the bathroom, they just went inside the facility on the floor which not only is unsanitary but also takes up a lot of time to clean which again means dogs are semi-unsupervised while the employee is having to clean up pee & poop messes (they did notify me that they were creating an outdoor area for the dogs to be able to go out freely, so no idea if this ever happened or not). They also let all dogs have free range of toys which can get very dangerous because many dogs will resource guard. They'd also brought in a dog to the play room that they knew had previous scuffles & issues with another dog already in the play room. Safety just didn't seem like a big concern here which just raises red flags for me personally.

I am absolutely grateful for the time that Dunphy has spent at Pooch at Play Doggie Daycare! They are beyond kind to him and I, plus anytime that I drop him off for daycare or boarding - he is so happy! They always tell me something about his day when I pick him up - I love that!We are moving away and they were so sad to hear about him leaving. When I picked him up for his last day of doggie daycare, they had a care package for him. How absolutely so sweet of them! Dunphy kept looking in the bag, he was so excited!Dunphy recommends any doggie friends to go to Pooch at Play Doggie Daycare. Thank you tons for making Dunphy so happy! He will miss going!

only reason it’s not 1 Star is that owner and employees are kind. I picked up my dog glyde and he has been puking and coughing not stop the last two days after I got him back. He went in for a hair cut and to play with the other dogs. The symptoms are a bruised throat and I feel so bad for him. Obviously he wasn’t cared for very well ( 100% think he was restrained improperly while they cut his hair). and his hair cut is the worst I have ever seen him have.
