My cats vet closed suddenly and I was not about to go without a good veterinarian and establishment to care for my cat Rex.I contacted Petsburgh and from the scheduling of the appointment until the end of the visit, I could not have been more impressed!The staff was friendly and kind and Dr. Shutes was thorough and very patient kind and did a great job with Rex, he was caring and he addressed everything on our first baseline visitPrice point is worth the services and treatment received, I was very happy we found a new Vet!

Every veterinarian, vet tech, and front desk employee show such kindness to both myself and my pets at each visit. They're extremely warm while being completely professional and knowledgeable. My questions and concerns have always been addressed. They clearly love pets and their pet parents. I highly recommend them!

Our Yorkies have gotten all their care at Petsburgh. It’s always been outstanding from new puppy to elder dog care. The doctors, technicians and other staff are extremely knowledgeable and efficient but most importantly, they are kind, caring, and compassionate with both our dogs and us. I won’t go anywhere else.

Dr. Roberson was and the Vet tech was very patience and gentle with TaMarow . They gave her treats to calm her down. Dr. Roberson did tests and gave me information about Ta’Marow,s condition. Her and her tech was very nice and comfortable towards me.

I’m very pleased with our grooming experience. Reception was welcoming as a first time customer, attentive to needs, the groomer took great notes and very willing to discuss what my concerns were making suggestions as necessary. My dog had a good experience and the cut was just what I wanted. I feel comfortable returning & I know my dog will be treated very well. The open windows were reassuring and watching staff, they obviously care for all the animals.

I have had trouble with my long-haired cat not grooming herself and having so many mats. I took her to Pittsburgh and had a lions cut. Oh my gosh, I was so pleased. She is adorable, and I think she seems so proud of herself, I would highly recommend the groomers at Petsburgh and having a lion’s cut for those cats who have so many mats and don’t want to keep themselves groomed

They have air fresheners in every room that have a calming scent for your animal. The Dr actually gets on the floor with my dog to make her feel safe. They accept pet insurance. They have a huge fun daycare center. The place is welcoming and doesn’t feel like a hospital.

We have taken our dog to Petsburgh Boarding for five years. The staff is always enthusiastic to see Finn and provides us with check-ins and photos throughout his stay. They have many services to choose from, too, like extra play time, a treat bar, and doggy play group. Best of all, Finn loves to go! His tail wags as soon as we say “Petsburgh”. Also shout out to Lindsey in grooming! He loves his festive neckerchiefs. Thanks for keeping a our shaggy doodle spiffy:-)

Dr Robertson was early for the appointment and so sweet with my puppy. She and her nurse wrangled my active puppy with loving care to give her her check up and annual shots. They definitely treated my puppy the way I treat my puppy and the way I want her to be treated weather I am there or not.

Great first time experience at Petsburgh with my Maltese, Rafa. One of the best haircuts he’s ever gotten, I can’t get over how clean he smells and he’s cuter than ever (didn’t realize that was possible). He can get stressed during grooming, but they treated him well and he came home happy. I definitely recommend.

We took our 13 week old puppy to get her first grooming yesterday at Petsburgh Pet Care. I called two weeks prior to schedule an appointment and they were able to get her in fairly quick compared to other groomers in the area. They called a couple of days prior to confirm her appointment and vaccinations she would need before her appointment which they gave her at their facility. When I arrived to pick her up someone from the vet clinic came to update me on her examination that was required for one of her vaccinations and shortly after they brought her out. Whenever I arrived that morning Trish assured me that she would try her best to groom her in the way I requested, but it was more important that our puppy felt comfortable especially for it being her first grooming. Her haircut was exactly what I had asked and we will definitely be back! Thanks so much Trish!

It looks like you didn’t give enough food for Spock… or you use some of your food instead of the food I got for him. Spock is supposed to have 1 cup of OUR kibble twice a day. (According to one of my vets, if you change dog food, you need to change it slowly over the course of three days, gradually adding more. Since Spock is only here overnight, there’s no point to use your kibble. When I got home, I still have an unopened bag of Spock’s kibble. That means he either fed him a lot less despite the fact I had it ready for him or you used some of your kibble for him? Please let me know re Spock’s kibble?? In the future I will include a page of all to do for Spock, so we don’t miscommunication. 😉Also, when I was there in person, I decided to have half of the topper at dinner and half at breakfast. It looks like instead of changing it you used the teaspoon of topper instead…Thank you,Paula

They say third times a charm, and they're right. Petsburgh had my dog looking like a doggy model😂. They took great care of our pooch. This is our official groomer now. The front desk was very nice as well. I highly recommend.

My dog is timid and she RUNS into day play! She smiles big in their pictures and loves her human and doggo friends in day play! I also take her to Petsburgh for baths (because she feels clean way longer and way better than when I do it) and for veterinary services. The staff there takes such good care of her. They do most of the services while she is there for day-play which is super convenient for me due to my work schedule! Highly recommend!

Fantastic place, I had been trying to get my puppy in at other vets for his first shots and kept getting canceled or rescheduled. This place got my puppy in quickly and were amazing with the little dude! Friendly staff, very informative, and Dr. Rose is amazing!

UPDATE: spoke with supervisor, Karen. Tried to explain the situation, we were told that she's sorry if that's 'how we felt' but there's nothing she can do to 'make me happy' (she kept repeating this btw) and that the receptionist I talked to was their 'best employee on staff' (yikes) we just misunderstood the situation. She did not believe us at all. No real apology, no accountability. I confronted her on her dismissive behavior, and she simply kept indignantly repeating that she couldn't 'make me happy' when I just wanted to be heard and get care for my dog. Taking accountability would make me happy, but if that's impossible at Petsburgh, then I at least thank them for making that clear. I am telling everyone I know to avoid this place.My dog has been acting strange and has been experiencing bad joint pain. I called 11/28/2023 at 4:30 pm. Receptionist tried to hang up on me before I had the chance to schedule an appointment. She then told me that my dog had never been seen by veterinary services there and had only ever been seen by the groomers, despite him recently seeing the vet there multiple times and even giving us a prescription for him. I try to correct her but she insisted that my dog had never been a patient and I should take him to his 'regular vet'...despite them being our regular vet. I try to explain what is wrong with my dog, she interrupts me and puts me on hold. She then calls back, says I should really take him to his 'regular vet' because this seems urgent. I try to explain again and she does not believe me. I tell her to at least let us have next week's available slot, and if we get help earlier we will cancel. She argued with me and kept telling me how I should be taking my dog to his vet while begrudgingly making the appointment (that's what I'm trying to do?). She sounded extremely judgmental of me as a pet owner, when all I am trying to do is get care for my dog at HIS VET. because I don't know what's wrong and this is already incredibly upsetting and stressful.He started acting this way shortly after he got grooming and an examination there, I'm not sure if there is a correlation but this recent experience is making me seriously reconsider trusting them with my dogs.

Very pleased with our first visit. The vet and the tech both made us and our pup feel very comfortable and they answered all of our questions thoroughly. Their facility is very clean and they had my pup so interested in socializing with them that he didn't even realize they were giving him his shots!! Such a nice facility, workers and vet were super nice,super welcoming and were so patient and gentle with our dog. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We plan on staying with this company, they also have their own pharmacy which was nice because we didn't have to wait to get our dogs prescription nor did we need to travel elsewhere.
