We’ve had Peterman come out a few times first was for a plumbing issue and we were very satisfied with the service. So when our furnace went out. We decided to call Peterman Bro. to give us a quote on prices for a replacement. The price was reasonable and the service was outstanding. They were very professional and respectful of our home. They had the installation done for the furnace and air conditioning unit in less than eight hours. They were very neat and knowledgeable about what they were doing. And when they were done they cleaned after themselves and discard the old unit. I would definitely recommend Peterman Brothers. You wont call on anyone else!!

They were very helpful and understanding! Clear communication and quick arrival time. We will be using them for our plumbing needs moving forward! We were also given information about their subscription that basically takes care of your houses yearly checks and regular maintenance for HVAC, Heating, and plumbing, as well as discounts on additional services. It was very reasonably priced and we were very excited to find out about this service as we own 2 properties and regularly need services to stay on top of repairs and maintenance for both. Very happy with their customer service and their help!

Amazing Austin was great. I had bought a new home and was worried about the wiring etc. Austin came out and gave me options and a plan, I selected what worked for me and he fixed both of them. He is good at what he does and he cares about his customers. I will from now on use these guys! Thanks

Tiffany was very nice and helpful with clearly explaining what all needs fixed at our hvac checkup! Others might have told me what needed done but i never understood what they were talking about. She showed me pictures and explained everything. Any questions I had she answered them clearly. Highly recommend her!!

Told us ours was at an age that it should be replaced but we could certainly wait till we had problems with it. I DON'T RECOMMEND ENCOUNTERING WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL.In September 2022, I purchased an A/C system from Peterman and had several bad experiences with them.They have some good employees... (all the service technicians and plumbing members were very professional, helpful and friendly) so I gave two stars for it. Still, some of them don't care about customers at all, unfortunately. (all the senior people who supported all the associates I encountered were not professional at all.)I have so much to say, but below is some of my advice in case unfortunately you decided to use Peterman.1) Please check what you receive.When they brought the heat pump unit to the site, I checked the inside panel and saw the model #. (I work for a manufacturing company, so I did it without thinking too much), and they delivered the wrong model (a much cheaper model). They explained that it was just a mistake, and I hope so.Also, originally, they put one thermostat that was supposed to work with the system (market price around $300). Still, they couldn't figure out how the humidifier works with it, so they wanted to "upgrade" the thermostat. When they delivered and put the "upgrade," the one they gave us was much less valuable (market price around $100). I complained to customer service, and after many negotiations, they finally gave a real upgrade. (This is a different topic, but they put in a different thermostat, the original installer couldn't enable the humidifier)I heard some rumors from ex-Peterman employees that Peterman does some unethical stuff, so be careful and check what you get matches with what you ordered or what they promised. (They are the most successful A/C company in Indiana, and making a lot of money... as you can see from the amount of advertisements, you know...)2) Please check the quality of the work.When they installed the AC, I had so many issues. The unit they installed was not level, ducts were not connected completely, there were so many holes/gaps... and the air handler didn't work. They initially committed to completing work in a day, but it took over a week.As I mentioned above, even though they swapped the thermostat three times, the humidifier didn't work. Later, a very knowledgeable service technician, Steve, a great gentleman, found that the installer didn't know how to connect those and fixed it.Also, later on, Steve again found that the original installer didn't know how much they should fill the refrigerant, and the system was running low on it.I worry that when Steve retires, the Peterman Lafayette branch won't have anyone who has decent knowledge about Air conditioning systems.So take videos, and record of what they do.3) Damage around the installationPlease check they didn't damage things around the installationThey damaged our dryer.I had many email and phone conversations with Peterman back and forth and needed to take time off from work to check they did things properly...They fixed these issues above with many conversations and negotiations, but it took a lot of time and energy.4) Be ready to have a conversation with customer service (MANY TIMES)When they had issues, they brought a bunch of senior staff or support members. All the senior/support members were unfriendly and unprofessional. They don't even say hi without me initiating the conversation and introducing myself. Completely unacceptable as a business.Throughout the process,I have much more to say, but above are key points to consider.Fortunately, my A/C system is covered 15 years warranty by them, so I will need to work with this company for another 15 years, and again, service techs are good. But once it is done, I will never use Peterman for any new installations...This company took too much time and energy from my family.Thank you...

Jacob Day at Peterman came this morning soon after we called and fixed our furnace! They gave us an alert and came within the time frame posted. He was able to fix the problem within our maintenance package, but clearly explained the problem and how it could potentially avert future breakdowns through modifying/replacing a tube for a small fee. He also answered my questions clearly and was willing to be recorded so that I could share the information with my husband in case I missed any important details. Very nice customer service.

Hello, we had a huge water leak under our house and so we called Peterman Brothers to come take a look. So the guys name was Bill and he knew exactly what he was doing and got straight to the point and knocked the problem out with ease. He triple checked his work and even talked us through what he did. Would give higher than 5 stars if I could for today’s plumbing services. They explained everything and answered any questions before getting to work. While installing the new faucet they found an issue with the sink due to its age and were extremely helpful to get that replaced the same day! They also installed a set of service valves and cleaned the tankless water heater today. I would highly recommend Peterman to anyone looking for heating/cooling or plumbing services they are always quick to come out and get any problem you have resolved!

I am on a service plan for a year with this company. That gives you free service check for your air conditioner and furnace once a year. The technician was great nice guy. But he tried to sell me like $10,000 worth of stuff for my 2-year-old furnace. You've got mold you've got condensation. You need a $4,000 dehumidifier for your furnace. This house has been here 60 years doing just fine without all that stuff. So my recommendation is don't sign up for their service plan cuz all it is is an excuse for them to come over and try to sell you stuff. That you probably don't need. I bought $150 large dehumidifier from Amazon and put it in the basement. FYI neither technician cleaned anything. When I had furnace technicians come in the past they would clean the furnace and clean the air conditioner. These guys cleaned nothing on the furnace and on the air conditioner sprayed some stuff on the coils and that was it. I will never sign up for this service again I thought they was going to clean something.

Jacob is the absolute best person to have for any HAVC concerns. He is incredibly knowledgeable and really has the customers best interest in mind. He takes the time to explain everything in layman’s terms and answers questions completely. He is always polite and makes sure he understands the results you are wanting, and gives you options so you can make well informed decisions. And he isn’t about just selling you something! We will never let anyone else in our home but him.

I scheduled an appointment to have Peterman come out and diagnose my water heater that kept tripping. A technician came that day which was great however, they charged an $85 diagnostic fee to tell me how much it would be to replace everything inside ($900) or purchase a whole new water heater ($1500). It was not much of diagnostic and more of a blanket quote which could've been done over the phone. I ended up having someone else someone come out. They replaced the heating elements and flush my water heater for under $300.
