I always love coming here for my groceries. The deals at the entrance entice me every time. The produce section is always fresh as well. The liquor section has a good variety as well. The store may be small, but it fits a lot of different useful items.

They have a real problem opening the doors during business hours. Today, I once again got there at 630am (a half hour after they open) and the doors are not open. The employees working will look at you and just go back to working. This is now the 3rd time it has happened and I have to drive to Walmart to get my weekly shopping done.

The store is neat and clean. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and eager to help you out. Self checkout is very convenient and of course they have cashier checkout also. Download their free app and join for discounts and coupons and rewards. The app is easy to use. All departments are 5 star for quality and value. Fantastic prices and great service.

I have shopped here for many years and found the vast majority of the staff to be very friendly. The management staff are all extremely helpful too, especially Deb C. who I think fills in there from time to time from the West Lafayette store. The pharmacy staff is great too. But….. the main reason I am leaving this review is due to an employee named Abbie because her customer service is ABOVE AND BEYOND any service received from non management. She genuinely asks how I am, did I find everything, could she help with anything else. Thank you Abbie for your excellent customer service!

Love shopping at kroger to get the best low prices. You get even better savings if you buy an item when its on sale plus use coupons either digital, manufacturer, or both you will be able to get more for your money. Overall i would recommend kroger for those on a fixed income.

Bought $45 dollars of rancid grass-fed beef that was within expiration date. The smell was atrocious. Someone isn’t storing the meat properly before it gets on the rack, or the temp control on the racks isn’t cold enough. I’ve reported this to the department of health. This is a serious issue that puts consumers at risk… and caused me to waste money. My only hope is that your meat department is shut down until you can get better handling processes in place. I don’t want to hear about staffing shortages. It takes 2 minutes to get a pallet jack and move the pallet of meat into a cooler once you get off the truck. I’ve managed grocery stores. There’s no excuse for this.

Just had the best experience at their pharmacy. My medicine is very expensive and the pharmacy tech checked good RX to make sure I was getting the best price. They imported my prescriptions from CVS and it took a little while but I felt like more than a number. It was a very pleasant experience and the pharmacy tech and pharmacist were awesome.

Absolutely the worst pick up experience ever! Frozen food was all thawed and melted, cold food was nearly room temp, lied to about milk being out of stock and there being no substitutes in the entire store. However I went early for my pickup so I could go in store and make sure they were telling the truth about the milk. They in fact were lying. There was lots of milk, even the milk they canceled on my order stating it was out of stock. Asked employee about milk situation when he brought out my groceries telling him there was lots of milk and he said that happens all the time. Payless you should be ashamed of yourself. Sit down and take notes from walmart on pickup, keeping Frozen food Frozen, cold food cold, and how to give substitutes for items supposedly out of stock. Perhaps you shouldn't lie to customers.I highly recommend doing grocery pickup at Walmart where they take care of their customers and don't lie.

I enjoy Payless. It was late tho when I went and I was just getting a 12pk of Mnt. Dew. Only one end of the check out was operating with only 4 scannersand atleast 20 people in line. But it went pretty quick. The fe.ale employee directing next person up was doing great keeping the flow going

I bought a chicken at payless around 2pm, 9/20. Got home and opened the bag of chicken, found out it was rotten and smelling. Immediately took it back. I couldn't find my receipt on getting there. The customers service representative at the branch was very unhelpful and unprofessional. I explained to him about not been able to find my receipt but I have the bank card I used in purchasing it. He was like he is unable to do anything without the receipt which I know that was a lie. I have seen people return things without receipt. The next thing he said was like people always return meat and asked for their money back. I know the reason is that to white people all black people are suspects. I can vividly say it was because I am black. I confronted him for saying that and he reluctantly gave me back my money and I went somewhere else to buy my chicken. He did not look at the meat to confirm, did not go and remove the remaining bad ones. He continued to attend to others. I have realized that we as black we have to fight for everything. I wouldn't have been writing this review if only he had done the right thing. I will not be buying chicken from payless anymore. Saw another review of another customer buying a smelling meat as well.

It's a good pharmacy.But they have limits.Make sure you call ahead before going to pick up a prescriptions ... every single time. Because it will be OFTEN that they don't have something ready ... for some random reason or another.They will NOT call you to tell you when there's a problem. They will wait until you get there to tell you it's not ready, and then tell you what you need to do about it.

We moved to this side of town a little over a year ago so this is based on several experiences at the store. We came from the Greenbush store which in my opinion, was five stars.This store needs so much work from management on down. The final straw for me was last week when I purchase some Greek yogurt out of the cooler then got home and the day after consuming a couple I realized that the expiration date was two weeks earlier!So there’s that and the customer service is simply horrible. You’ve got kids standing around visiting with friends, some that don’t work there, and playing on their phones while working. Or at least getting paid, I’m not sure about the working part. And if you ask a question they often seem much less than enthusiastic and sometimes even put off by you bothering them. The store is dirty. And it’s not very well stocked.But between expired items in the consistent low quality customer service, we’re heading back Greenbush.

They don’t honor their business hours as advertised. I literally had to pop in to grab one pack of turkey burgers for my son who doesn’t eat beef, and was turned away because they close at 10. It was a quick and easy task because I knew exactly was needed. Let alone, was also going to use self check out. Now I’m stuck figuring out wth hell to make for dinner at actually 10pm. All you have to do is honor the hours you advertise, honestly.

I have utilized clicklist since the day it was formed at this store. And as time goes by the people who pick the groceries are absolutely lazy. They do not substitute Items well. Especially when it comes to quantity of substitutions compared to the original item ordered. Also, good luck if you use the Payless website to order your groceries. It it keeps getting worse and worse. I will never understand why I try to order things on the website and they are exclusively delivery ir in store only. Obviously you have the product in store so why can I not get it through clicklist??? I'm fed up. Especially since I spend at at least $300 a week at the store utilizing clicklist.

Everyone is so nice & polite even when they are busy. The customer service department is great too!!! I enjoy talking with the people there while I take care of my business they are always helpful & will go out of there way to make sure you are happy & satisfied. I also love looking at there markdown tables. There's always something there that I have on my grocery list & who doesn't love to buy something for 1/2 price!!!

For the first time since the start of these most unfortunate of times, I had an order I placed at a Pay-Less/Kroger filled completely and without need for substitution! To boot, all of the produce selected was great! Yippee!I used the drive-up pick-up option to shop. I did not have to wait more than twenty minutes and the young woman who brought my groceries out to me was cordial enough. She was a bit disgruntled, tho', and articulated that I had indicated the incorrect number for the space in which my vehicle was parked. So, to any 'newbies' who may have not used this service before there, please note that the sign to the left of your parking space designates the number assigned to it.To this end, my one 'issue' was with the lack of clarity in the numbered signs used to identify spaces. Unlike three other Pay-Less locations in this area and other businesses offering this same drive-up pick-up service, the numbers designated to each parking space by the signs is unclear and not centred in the middle of a given parking space. Management could easily rectify this issue by adding little arrow to each sign that points either left or right to the space the sign designates. The app also compounded matters by not allowing a customer to identify their car by make, model, colour, etc.Parking-space identification aside, I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of my order and was compelled to do a 'Happy Dance' when I got home -- my order was correct, no substitutions were made, and my produce did not look like it had been left out in the sun or taken a few tumbles on the pavement prior.

I love the quality of the meat. The deals are hit and miss, like i buy my instant folgers coffee elsewhere. Some thing are more expensive so use the ads and coupons. Friendly young Male bagger and friendly cashier make the experience better than any store!!!!

Great store!! I had a amazing experience last night (9-11-19) with my cashier (Shay) she was very sweet friendly and helpful she went above and beyond during my check out process she had to bag my groceries (I had a huge order 2 carts full)...she explained to me she didn't have a bagger that night but she managed to handle it very professional and with great service very pleased im going to look for this young lady every time i shop here!!!
