Let it be known that Chris, a manager at the online pickup counter, was an absolute legend in his professionalism, courtesy, and customer care during multiple trips to help me load and pack all of the materials. My wife stopped by to look at paint chips. I walked around and grabbed a 4pk of 2032 batteries and a quart of oil. I go up to the register and the oil rang up at $3.59 and the batteries at $9.98.I told the cashier I would check the batteries. I took a picture for her. She pointed out it was for a 2pk. I told her I didn't stock them and you can see more than one in that spot.I shop freely, expecting employees to stock the merchandise in the right spot. After all, they get paid to do so.If they can't stock merchandise in the right place, Management should let the cashier's make it right. It didn't happen.If I have to double check the price of an item prior to checking out I don't have to shop there. We have many other choices to shop. I will get our paint at one of them.

Water heater started leaking within just a couple years. We paid someone to empty it and brought it back up to replace under warranty. The new one started leaking from the bottom the very next day. Called to ask for help with anything about this situation and they basically said they don’t care. Wont help us reinstall the 3rd heater, won’t do anything. Be very careful what you purchase from this store.

Bought something online to pick up in-store and it turns out they did not have it. I canceled the order and they only refunded me the item, not the tax or the convenience fees they charged for getting the item, which they never did. Stick with Home Depot when ordering things online. Menards is a bit behind technologically.

Ive found it easier to go here when its close to closing time. Otherwise I'm in there for hours looking at all the good stuff and wanting one of everything. However I didnt know about the sales they were running... Needless to say the friendly staff were really nice telling me to get out. Its one my favorite toy stores but im usually there way too long and end up spending way too much. Id give it five stars but I get into trouble going in there.

Went in for a water pad replacement for my home humidifier system. I asked two separate employees where the items were, I was informed each time that they had 27 in stock and the general area where they were. After wasting over 20 combined minutes looking, I ordered them on Amazon and walked out of the store.

After going around for 8 weeks of our washer going out and paying about $300 for laundry mat, they finally tell us they are not paying for repair. The amount we are getting on a washer will not even cover us buying a new one. So now I'm out around $800 due to the difference I will have to pay for a washer and then the cost I spent at the laundry mat. When they could have at least just told us after the first company came out two days after I filed a claim that they week not going to pay for repairs. I have probably called 10-15 times over the last 8 weeks. This place is no help. Oh and now I have to wait for my check because after checking with me to conform my address, which I had to correct and gave to them, they sent our check to the wrong address. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never buy an appliance from menards again! Absolutely lost my business. Especially when the sales person told us if they can't fix the washer, they will send you back in and exchange for a newer model if they do not have your model. Just lost our business from now on!! Do not purchase any warranty through them!!!!

Ordered new cabinets and a quartz counter top from Menards recently. I although one of the cabinets was damaged when delivered it was easy to replace it as we chose in stock cabinet styles. The store had the new cabinet waiting at the front by the time we got there and exchanged it easily. Still waiting on the counter tops to come in will update. The employees, especially Ian, in the cabinet and counter top section were extremely helpful and patient throughout the entire 3 month+ project.

These stores are truly amazing.. Packed with everything you could need and even a few things you probably don't need. From ideas on remodelingTo just fun projects there is so much to look at. Insane Halloween decorations Candy and more.. This is even a fun family Day or a couple hours if it's raining to get out of the house and get those steps in. With this one store you could fully build a house furnish it maintain it and the lawn and surrounding areas. Oh and did I mention they sell full house kits. 🤯🏡

Came here to get over $3000 in material and Couldn't access nothing I was trying to get. Hey here is an idea. Stock your shelf before customers come in and not wile people are shoppin and they don't want to move stuff for u. Dude realy said "realy I just sat those there" to me when I asked him to move it for me. And this is everyday. I'll just go to lowes from now on.

Items seem placed with a bit more common sense than another local competitor. My help today was fantastic and although the rebate system is a bit dated they are often worth it. Not to mention other events like "everything in the bag" and such.

Just spent 30 minutes waiting in the cabinet section for someone to come talk to us. I had everything picked out, I only had a question about how long it would take to get in the countertop that I wanted to order, and to swipe my card for the purchase. Ended up leaving the store without a single employee talking to us.

Easy to find in Lafayette, In. Parking was near the front entrance on a Sunday afternoon. The associate at the lumber counter was gracious & courteous and very k knowledgeable about the wood in stock and suggested the best price point for the cedar wood that I needed. Payment was easy at the check out. Being familiar with the lumber yard and the yard gate employee I knew where to go with my paid receipt to allow my pick up. Finding the correct cedar lumber was a little tricky up on the second floor of the yard warehouse. A kind employee came by after I had selected the proper lumber product & verified my selection as proper with the paid receipt prior to my exiting the lumber yard. Check out at the exit point went clean with the "gate employee" thanks to the preview by the yard employee. Having loaded the back of the pickup truck bed myself, I asked if she thought the load would transport without incident. The gate employee thought the load was stable enough to transport. I would have felt more comfortable traveling the next 20 miles if some type of red attention type of flag/flyer had been attached for the other traffic to be aware of the open tailgate & protruding lumber sticking out. There were no incidents from the local police about a need of a ticket for improper load transport through town and down the highways. Over all it was a very easy locate, pick up & self delivery with no traffic incidents.

Ordered 300 dollar storm door for our home from this store as was only ones to have it n stock. Or so we thought, get there and 25 min later we r told that they don't have any of them n even tho on site it showed 3 in stock. This is after we drove 30 miles to get it as i have my front entry of house tore apart. We were told had to wear mask even tho I have disability and went in and were shown other choices but they were all cheaper and not well made. They made no offer to upgrade us for their faults. We were offered no apology, no nothing from anyone. I finally had to walk out in disgust and frustration. I already despised this store for mask enforcement but this was last straw. First and only time I've ever worn a mask. Never again..

Many employees are very unknowledgeable of the layout off the store and lack basic DIY Home repair knowledge to give any type of advice to a customer with questions or assisting a customer in the direction where to find a product, however they do seem to hire a lot of pretty ladies for checkout.

Hannah was the most helpful over all of the appliance personnel in the store. Deb was the most friendliest and helpful person in the shelving department and my Mom and I were so undecided but we came back and Hannah helped us with a freezer, warranty and delivery too. Thanks for all that they did for us today. More helpful that the gents at Lowes today. Will always come first to Menardsfrom now on. Thank you
