We are not from here and Meijer is a delight! The selection is enormous, you can stuff your entire house with their stuff. The prices cover the entire range, affordable store brands to medium to high end organic / top brands. There are 50% off second or 30% off second everywhere. The store is well lit, and the staff is helpful.

Great store with a great selection, they have more speciality food items then similar stores. I like the bakery as well, swing by for an $0.89 donut! Overall just a convenient place to do your grocery shopping, it has just about anything you could need when it comes to food

One of the best Garden Centers with a vast and varied selection of plants and flowers.Saw colors and varieties that I have never seen elsewhere.Very helpful staff in the garden center!Nice clean store.Their gas was $3.06 for regular unleaded.Quite a bargain-Found a very cool Cardinal Wind Chime in the Seasonal Department.All of their solar light rain gauges were a little pricey at $40.00 so I passed on those.Must be inflation???

I was able to find a few odds and ends I needed during my stay in town. They had a good selection and the prices were not bad. They also still have actual people at a couple of registers.

You cannot buy plants at this store before 9 o'clock in the morning, which is ridiculous The store open at 6 AM, but you are not allowed to enter the garden center that is locked from the outside world. So you can only go into from the store, but you can't go into the garden center before 9 AM.Is what I was told!!!

Well stocked, variety, fresh, and in date merchandise. The staff is always friendly, and good deals on items I purchase weekly. Store is clean inside and out. Plenty of checkouts.

This Meijer is CONSTANTLY out of stock throughout the store and they will stay out of stock of something for months on end. I'm not sure if their computer systems don't alert them to order more of certain products, but it is often comical how little they have available for their customers.Really wonderful staff and a really nice, clean environment, but how far does that get you when you barely have any product?

After waiting 20+ mins chatting with several customers that were looking to get meat the same as me, rang the bell twice, called the store phone number from inside the store, which the automated system said I was talking to the manager in charge, which was a lie, it was a service desk person, told them I was in the store and no one was at the meat counter they in turn called the meat department so I got to listen to their phone ring, then got transferred to deli, at this point I asked for the store manager they said sure one moment and hung up on me. Called back asked for a manager after realizing the automated system lies to you and doesn't actually get a manager in charge. After getting in touch with a manager took her several minutes to get there and this meat counter guy comes mozing up to the, tell him I want 6 t-bones the sale price of 9.99/lb. Get home and realize he rang them up wrong and at full price. Manager did absolutely nothing besides tell him to let her know when he goes on break, I was there for at least 20 min and didn't see him at all, are breaks longer than I remember them being??? I have never had such horrible service from this Meijer location. Big disappointment and very disappointed in service from the Manger level down to associate level.

What's not to like about this place? Stopped here to pick up a quick dinner, and found that their bag meal kits we're cheaper than anywhere else. They also have a large selection of digiorno pizzas.

Clean and easy to shop Meijer. Looks like they recently revamped some of the store. Household and other aisles are different but good. Always a great selection of grocery and alcohol.

The women's bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Only one out of the two stalls was working, and it was filthy. There was toilet paper all over the floor, one of the soap dispensers was broken, and there was literally human excrement sitting on top of the one garbage. 😳 🤢 This location and its employees should be ashamed.

I just posted pictures of the cat isle and sometimes they don't have a lot of options but it looked pretty good this time. I do know that petsmart will match prices, sometimes I get coupons from meijer too.

Great selection of fresh vegetables, meats, craft beer, clothing, pet supplies and more. Prices are comparable to other stores. I like shopping here when I get a chance.

I have health issues, and today, March 1st, 2024, I got overheated in the checkout line, which put me into a couching fit, which I sat down and covered my face with my sweater. 1 supervisor came over, and then there were 3 more supervisors n 2 management personnel to make sure I was ok.. They helped me with a cold pack and a cold bottle of water.. Very much appreciated how all they all made sure I was ok.. I know for damn sure Walmart wouldn't have done anything.. You went above and beyond to stop and make sure I was ok, and THAT'S WHY I LOVE MEIJER and KEEP SHOPPING THERE❤️Was also amazing friendly to my service dog and very much appreciated 👏 Thank YouKeep it up

1 checkout lane open during rush hour & the cashier is a senior citizen. Not fair to her or the customers. Self checkout is NOT senior citizen or handicap friendly at all. & Forcing customers to stand in lines for 15-20 minutes isn't either. Do they not care about people who are unable to ring up their cart full of items? They should offer 10% off your purchase if you are ringing yourself up.

Meijer has the best overall grocery selection, and honestly best general merchandise selection in terms of almost any item you may seek, when compared to the similar department/big box stores in the Lafayette area. Their produce, bakery, and deli departments exceed any and all expectations, I would absolutely recommend the bakery for a birthday cake or any upcoming celebration you may be treat shopping for! They have exceptional seasonal produce that actually looks enticing, they have sales and promotions that help stretch your budget, and to reiterate, their selection is expansive and full of welcome variety, including international sections that go beyond just the most basic items in Hispanic and Asian cuisines, which is a sad reality of all the other grocery chains here. Their pet department is also considerably larger than the competitors with far better deals, and isn't too far behind PetSmart/Pet Supplies Plus. Meijer also tends to have fantastic customer service, at least the Lafayette location does. The west side has a few older Karen type charactete who really should...say less...but honestly outside of that, everyone is pleasant and courteous and there to help the customer readily. Any outliers are immediately overdone by their truly fantastic, energetic, professional and qualified counterparts, so they're easy to ignore and forget about.

Pharmacy is consistently out of needed prescription drugs, resulting in delays getting important medicine. This was a particular problem after a recent surgery.

I got woke up "with no warning" from a company robbing us hard working truck drivers for $1000 dollars 😯 that this meijer's hired! I don't know what us truck drivers done to be hated so much when they get their groceries from us! 🤔🤦 Most parking fines can exceed up to $250 but $1,000 is absolutely ridiculous 😡 no one should shop at this location especially if you have respect for us hard-working truck drivers

So I just got done shopping at Meijer on 26 and I caught the security guy following me around which is fine because that's his job but then after I cashed out the door alarm went off so I waited for 2 minutes for someone to come over and amazingly after she checked my receipt the alarm didn't go off again. How weird is that? So if you're not following here's what happened, the security guy manually set off the door alarm so they could try to catch me stealing something which didn't happen. Instead I spent$205.41.Get real guys. If you need someone to show you how to run security at your store let me know.
