Cooked 2 lbs chorizo (2links). 35% of weight is water! Weighed the water that came out of the $5.99lb sausage after cooking. Gotta love paying $5.99 for water thats added when making it. Literally 6oz of water per lb of sausage..that is over 35% of sausage is water weight..horrible greed. Never again.what a ripoff.

This is the best grocery store in the Lafayette area! This store covers everything you want and need not just groceries. The staff are very friendly and there are no big lines like your other big box stores. This is a must grocery for everyone.

1/7/23- It's been a while since my last visit, because my wife shops here every Sunday.We order the carnitas, menudo, and chicharones to name a few.Today Roberto was on duty at the meat counter. He's new, but quick to help. I saw a few old timers.The cashier is the same as from years ago. She is bilingual and very friendly.They have a lot of merchandise from all over to take care of your Mexican, y Latino needs. Great experience!Ya Sabes!

I love this place .I always cash my checks here . Best rates , great food freshly made in the deli and the coldest 🍻 drinks and the hottest salsa . You have got to check it out and see for your self .

Great Mexican supermarket, they have a pretty good selection of produce and a lot of imported products that you can't find in normal supermarkets. Great for quick shopping trips or for meals when I need ingredients that I can't find in other stores. There's also a bakery section that has a very good variety of traditional Mexican bread. And lastly they have a really good meat department with good selection of cuts. Overall the staff is very friendly they always greet when I walk by and they always help if I need help finding something.

Great place to get Latin American groceries that you just can't find anywhere else in Lafayette. Huge selection of spices, juices, candies, and other such necessities that are a need in a Hispanic household but are not offered anywhere else. Their pan dulce is certainly not my favorite though. Otherwise a much needed, clean, friendly place!

My favorite Mexican market you can get all your needs if you're in the mood to cook Mexican food right at this place they're reasonable produce are always fresh and they have almost anything you need and then please I'm more than happy to help you some of them speak English some of them don't so but if you know what you want there shouldn't be an issue with that absolutely recommend this place for all your Mexican needs as far as food goes it's a great place to shop

Good Imported Mexican products. Slightly higher than the chains. Some things hard to find they carry. Avoid Check caching times, the line stretches out past the parking lot. Great little breads for 50 cents.

Always come here for Barbacoa. Just delicious!! They also have the specific tortillas I really like and their produce is always pretty good. Get the green tomatoes to make salsa.

Long line at the meat counter. Had to wait in line for tamales, waited for a while, decided to leave instead. They should have two or more people working the meat counter area.

This store was surprisingly big! It doesn't look big from the outside. On the inside, it's full of excellent products at great prices. I found every dried pepper that I wanted. There are fresh peppers too. I could not find any unreasonable price. My girlfriend and I shop Aldi, Payless, Meijer, Target and sometimes Walmart. La Tapatia still offers products and sales that these stores do not. The bakery here is incredible! Many teas at a good price. Many delicious sauces. Many drinks to choose from. I'll go back because I was a little over-whelmed and in a hurry. I grabbed a dozen items but I can think of a dozen more that I could use as soon as I go back. I think you're going to like this store!!
