The store is alright, although it has an old hag that resembles the wicked witch from the west working the counter. Probably not a good look when you have a hound barking at the customers.

The Customer Service Representative, that works the Customer Service Counter, named Jack, is absolutely the BEST!! Not only is he well knowledgeable regarding the store, he always Greets Me With Smile. Thank you Jack for making my shopping experience pleasant. Kudos to Jack!!

Customer service at the South 18th St. location is always exceptional! The staff seem to work well together and treat guest like family. Selection of product is consistently vast and organized. This is the best Dollar General in town by far!

Always clean and usually has what I need. 4 stars because had to wait longer than usual due to credit card machines not working properly. Otherwise would be 5 stars.

I'm so glad I started shopping at this dollar store lication.people are much nicer .and they where helpful if I couldn't find thing in the store I needed.unlike the dollar store on 231 and beck lane Lafayette,Indiana. Who refused to sale me a gallon of milk with out a mask .snd the manager was stand behind the counter with out Her mask on .there loss I will never shop there again .no one was in the store at the time only my self ..they need kinder management. Employees lead by example and KIM YOUR NO BETTER THEN ANYONE ELS ..BOYCOTTED THE PLACE AND UM NOT THE ONLY ONE .GOD BLESS.

Of all the stores in Lafayette, this store has the best employees! I drive out of my way to come to this one. Not only are they friendly, they are always helpful. The walk you to what you are looking for.

Very convenient. Prices are ok, I'm willing to pay a little more for the convenience. Just wish the employees were more friendly and attentive. Most seem not to really care and are just there for a pay check.

Even with the remodel the store is still garbage. No one is ever stocking shelves and they all just stand around looking like they have no idea what they are even doing.

A quick in and out trip, found what I wanted with no problems but still had 2 associates on the floor ask me if I was finding everything ok. Cashier was super friendly and efficient.

Had a line. There was two in front of me and 4 people behind me. Another clerk finally said she could help next person, which a lady cut me off and went ahead of me and than people were saying it was warm in there and the old lady working said no it was fine. Like argued with other clerk about it.

The ladies here work really hard to keep this location clean and organized! It doesn't have much for clearance, but that's probably due to the fact that they just remodeled.
