I've been coming to this store for as long as I can remember.. 15+ years. I went in to order a smoker because their website said they could have one next day, and they let me take the display model home. Always excellent customer service and being able to get in and out quickly is always a good thing! Thanks!

I’m definitely biased as I worked at the Ace on the west side until recently, but it’s interesting how the two compare. This location on Beck Ln was seriously understaffed both times I visited, I wasn’t greeted or offered help either time, and when I did need help I had to search all over the store just to find an employee. That would never ever happen at the west side Ace.The garden center, on the other hand, was exponentially better than the garden center at the west side Ace (sorry Xena, I know you do your best). It was much larger, extremely well laid out, perfectly organized and maintained, just everything about was just in a totally different league.I’m sure these differences, positive and negative, are almost exclusively due to differences in management. Since all Ace stores are independently owned franchises and the one on the west side at least is very much run as a family business (not sure about the other), policies can and do differ dramatically from store to store. When I lived in Missoula, MT there were four Ace locations that had a distinct specialties – two were just hardware, one was just a garden center, and one was just small machinery like lawn mowers and such. A totally different business model. Anyway, a well-run Ace Hardware is the best place to go for any of your hardware or garden needs, in my opinion.

Love shopping here. Unmatched service, same inventory as bigger stores with great prices. Kinda out of the way from my house but I always come here when in a hurry or in the area. Love it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

They had to work late because of me.10 minutes I looked for a screw then I didn't see the cost so they did a price check and found the right screw that I needed. Instead of walking by watching me and would have helped me. they could of got off on time. Lol

I got a new grill. I was helped when picking it out and the same man brought it to my house put together and right where I wanted it within about a half hour. He was extremely polite and a great help when shopping and delivering. Assembly and delivery were free and we got a great deal on the grill and all the cooking tools I needed

I believe the store should have a meeting and make every employee aware of the products they do offer and do not offer we were told we could get new screens for our windows. We got a call saying they were done we came up here and a totally Different person was claiming that they do not do new screens they only repair screens which is Not at all what we were told we waited over two weeks for these to get done only to get our old screens back that did not even need repaired we only brought them in for size comparison and framework which they don’t do frame work either. They expected us to pay for our old screens stating they repaired them when nothing was wrong with them in the first place. Only the frames were messed up. What a huge mess. They will never get our business again!

Ace hardware has always been slightly higher than the big box hardware stores imo, although you can find some great sale deals to offset that cost increase. The increase in cost per item comes with plenty of employees to great you and give knowledgeable advice on location of items in store, as well as application for desired projects. Well laid out store that is clean and well stocked with multiple manufacturers available for many items. Highly recommend Ace Hardware if you have questions about you project and/application.

This place has good deals on SOME THINGS. You have to wait for the sales, but they have decent prices on plants along with a variety. Not meant for big home projects; more like quick fix and a little higher price then volume stores.

I keep going here because it's close and convenient, but it can be hard to find some things because of the disorganization in certain areas. Staff are mostly pretty friendly. You can usually find at least 1 in the paint area.

Couldn't get any assistance so I had to buy couple different ones to see which one would fit. The prices are high, considering the price shouldn't the store look better and have better employees that care about the customers. FYI- Customers are the only reason you have a job.

This Ace is near my home. Beck Lane and 231. As an elderly person I can get wonderful healthy plants here without walking a bigger box store. The CashierDenise, was so sweet and helpful . I'd go back just to see her. The ladies in the plant dept. We're very helpful. Will assist in getting your items to your vehicle.

I was completely unimpressed with this store. I tried several times to get an employees attention to ask a question about a product to purchase and they walked right past me as if I weren't even there. After standing there for 25 minutes, my daughter and I decided to leave. This store does not employ the company saying of being the "Place with the helpful hardware man" Will not be back here again!!!

Truly is the helpful place. I never have to guess where something may be. Every associate I have asked takes me right to thg he product I'm looking for. Usually there is someone when you walk in ready to help. Best little hardware store plus they have a pretty good selection of Craftsman products.
