My review will be mixed. I love the convenience of where its located. I wish they had scales at every checkout because it makes a longer wait when the check out person has to weigh product at customer service. Also, lets talk about the gun section. My husband and sons were going to purchase a gun. They were trying to ask the old guy who works there information on a few of the guns they were interested in. I guess we were bothering him, because he rolled his eyes(after he ignored us for a bit). We left after that. My husband and son went to Dunhams afterwards to buy a gun. Rural King could have made a sale. I wont buy another gun from them because of this man. Ill still buy my chicken feed and pig ears there though. :)

Today was purchasing ammo. Ammo was reasonably priced, and some on sale with nice discounts. Very nice variety of the common calibres. Staff was friendly, and helpful. Store was clean and well stocked.

The other night we were there and the cashier was a Male with blonde hair and a mans bun. Didn't ask if I wanted my stuff in a bag and didn't even put it in a bag for me. My husband was very upset and angry with the cashier. It was in aisle 3. The receipt didn't have the cashier's name. But when we come in usually it is very nice. The people in the gun department are wonderful. My dog looks for the lady that gives her treats. She and the gentleman back there are two great people.

Great place!! It is a new store, everything won't be perfect, but they are trying. I did feel bad for the cashiers trying to keep a positive attitude for the negative customers through their lines (a lot of nasty customers), but they were firm with them and did well. Perhaps some people in this town could use a little patience. It is a fine store and they are doing a great job!

Its your average rural Walmart. Everythinf from cloths to guns and tractors. Everyone seemed friendly. very large selection of items. My favorite about Rural King is that they print out pictures and post Security cam footage throughout the store of people they catch stealing. Very entertaining.

This place is an absolute joke majority of people working have an attitude especially the man in the gun department. I placed an order for a shotgun on the 9th and being told i wouldn't get the gun until the 21st? I read more reviews with the same problem dating back before covid hit with this company so no excuses at all just pure unprofessional would not recommend ordering anything from these people!!!

The man working at the firearms counter is disrespectful and rude. I arrived at the counter when nobody else was there was waiting on service and another man walks up to the counter and got service immediately. This employee should probably be fired for this. If I owned this company I would fire him on the spot. No questions asked.

The customer service at the gun barn was phenomenal. The attendants were highly knowledgeable and informative. I'll definitely be back.

Purchased a gun and it never showed up. Called and called to be told about there 10 day processing period. Well after 16 days i gave up. Never purchase a firearm from them again!

Worst experience ever! Went to see the new store for the first time. Nothing is priced right and when I tried to show that all the signs for 5 out of ten things we were going to purchase were wrong and mislabeled they started to argue with me. Then when I told them the price is wrong in another department the girl tells me that’s not her department. Why are you a price checker then? Never going back!

Waited 2 hours to purchase a firearm. I filled out my 4473 and I got held which happens sometimes. Never got a call back nothing. Took my business elsewhere. I.wont be back.

Terrible experience, walked in expecting to buy a firearm, asked the older gentleman if I could see one, was told blatantly that it would be 15 mins and that he’s making a sale and not just playing around, like ok I’m just trying to see one literally takes 10 seconds, I will never go here again!

They need more employees. They had to shut down the gun department early because of employees shortage and they had no popcorn for the customers.

Quick to get what I needed. Pellet smoker media and dog food ...and some barbecue seasoning and 12 gauge ammo!!! All I needed on a Saturday😁
