I've been taking my Doberman here for 8+ years and Dr. Hiss and his staff are the best in this town. Very knowledgeable and my dogs have always had top notch care and service. I highly recommend him.

We love Dr. Hiss! He clearly loves animals and does everything he can to take care of our pets. He treats our pets as if they were his own and does it at fair prices because he wants to make sure everyone can afford care for their pets. His staff is always sweet and you can tell they enjoy taking care of our the animals there as well. Dr. Hiss is the best and I don't know if I would feel as good about another veterinarian as I do with him.

Pretty hard to get in as a new patient. Be prepared to do a $ 65 deposit for your first appointment. I am not what that's about....That out of the way I was very pleased with the thorough check up of my little girl.We have found a new doctor.

I never worry if my cats will receive the best care possible when I go here. I KNOW they will. Dr. Hiss is wonderful and so are all of the supporting staff. I haven't met Dr. Maxwell, yet, but I look forward to seeing her next week. The parking area and building are well maintained. The rooms are nice and clean (no unpleasant smells or stains). Scheduling is a breeze and they communicate via text or phone calls if you prefer.

We have used Pet Care Clinic since 2004 for both of our dogs. Our first dog was hit by a car requiring late night emergency care and a heartbreaking decision by my daughter to have Riley put down. Our current dog has had issues with car anxiety, poisoning, skin allergies, and weight. With the awesome care and concern for not only our dogs but also all of us, our first dog passed away without pain and with our loving arms around him. Our current dog loves riding in the car; has had no ill effects from a poison with no antidote; has lost weight and is maintaining a healthy weight; and his skin allergies are well controlled. Yes, Dr Hiss addresses many of our "non-emergency" calls after patient hours. I appreciate that, especially when we're in the office for appointments. However, I have never called with a concern and not received immediate attention by the appropriate staff.We have seen the affection all the staff has for the animals who come into the clinic. Sometimes those same animals either don't leave or leave with less than pleasant diagnosis. This impacts not only the owners but staff at this clinic - as it should be. We will continue to use the services of Dr Hiss and recommend this clinic to all.

Dr. Hiss and his team are wonderful!! They take great care of my pug. They've even figured out how to clip his nails without either of us being traumatized (which is our at-home nail clipping experiences). My pug loves visiting the team!! Dr. Hiss is up to date on vet medicine and takes time to explain things. He and his team have gone out of their way to accommodate me (and my pet's needs) even when we're traveling states away from IN. I love that I can communicate via text to set up appointments, get med refills, etc.

I can’t thank the staff and Dr. Hiss enough for taking such excellent care of my dog Pennelope. Everyone here is very friendly and knowledgeable. All of my questions and concerns are addressed in a very thorough and professional manner. We were on a wait list when Pennelope was a puppy. It was completely worth the wait. We appreciate all of you and your hard work!! Pennelope is the happiest girl ever.. especially when she visits this office!!!

I have never meet a nicer and more caring staff then at the Pet Care Clinic. They really care about the pets and the owners of the pets. I had my precious cat Oreo cared for by them, he lived for 19 years. They did everything they could to make him comfortable and they also cared for us who loved him. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who has pets.

I've used Dr. Hiss for years for the care of all my pets. Dr. Hiss and his employees have always been extremely polite and helpful, today this was displayed even more. I showed up with a 2wk old sick kitten that I have been fostering since it was abandoned by its mother. They quickly worked me in without an appointment. They gave great concern for the sick baby and reassured me all would be well. I can't thank Dr. Hiss and his team enough for their assistance in caring for this kitten that has wormed its way into my heart and for putting my fears to rest. Highly recommend Pet Care Clinic to anyone that is looking for a caring vet!

I you care about your pet, do not bring them to this clinic.My dog was brought into the office for his rabies vaccine and nail trim. I was placed in a room and they took my dog for his nail trim. Twenty minutes later the doctor dropped by the room I was in to say that his exam was normal. The exam was not completed in my presence nor were the vaccines given in my presence. They claim it was due to Covid yet the doctor was not even wearing a mask when she was speaking to me. We get to check out and are astounded at the amount of the visit. My dog was given 3 other vaccines that I did not authorize and one (the flu) which I specifically said NO. Needless to say they scammed us out of our money but my dog will not be returning to this place.

Dr. Hiss is very caring & knowledgeable. But didn’t want to use the heart worm preventive that his office carries , told Dr . Hess , he said all I had to do was have the online pharmacy call the office & they would ok the prescription. I tried to do, but his office stone walled the Chewy on line pharmacy, I even called Dr Hess office , was told he couldn’t approve till 5:00 pm that day. Found out the next day it still had not been approved & Dr Hess was very busy , so they couldn’t give me a timeline for approval, my 2 dogs had just had their yearly wellness exam within past 3 weeks . So I picked up my dogs records & have found another vet. This is very UNPROFESSIONAL way to treat someone, anyone that has paid for exams, then not be able to get what they paid for, meaning clean bill of health + an ok to online pharmacy to get the heart worm medicine for my dogs , which he doesn’t use.

Unfortunately I was there with a friend who's dog had to be euthanized. They were very compassionate to us. They allowed us time with Doug both before and after the procedure. They explained to us what was going to happen.

I left this clinic because they could not give my dog his rabies and bortella shot for 5 or 6 weeks. We were leaving town and needed shots within two weeks. No accommodation for a good customer. This lets me know they are more interested in the money.
