I usually have a positive experience here. I enjoy their prices and deals. I think their clearance "woohoo" section is great. They have a decent produce selection for the size of the store. However, today, I got stuck at the self-checkout as apparently "help was on the way." I believe it was because I scanned some food too quickly. Regardless, I waited for an employee to come while I witnessed two teen employees playing around on their phones and smelling candles (presumably ones from the store?). It was annoying that I had to wait several minutes to receive help simply because workers weren't paying attention. Overall, I still like this store; I just wish the employees were a bit more responsible. I understand having fun on the job, but I hope they can pay closer attention in the future.

I'm a big fan of kroger. Employess are always kind and everything is easy to find. Sometimes the floor is dirty, but that doesn't bother me.

I love the Maplecrest Kroger, though I wish they had fresh sushi (or evergreen frozen) like the one on Dixon. Kroger always has very nice produce with interesting, exotic fruits and vegetables to choose from, depending on season. The foods from both the deli and bakery are very fresh, as are the meat and seafood departments. There is a wide variety of foods to choose from from many cultures and special dietary needs. I will personally only shop for groceries and pet supplies at Krogers.I do feel they need more registers open, especially on Sundays and around holidays.The pharmacy is short-staffed, but they manage to have my scripts ready on time. They have never ran out of pain medications, either, which seems to be a big problem with other pharmacies around town.

I do love the Kroger experience usually, always friendly and helpful, however, during my last few trips the experience was lacking bordering on rude. Yes, they were very busy but that doesn't mean you start head-turning and ignoring your customers.

I went to pick up softener salt which is right outside the doors of the store. The bags of salt were literally covered in cigarette ashes and cigarette butts. That was extremely irritating not to mention filthy. There was a sign in front of the salt stating a new low price of $7.99. I was charged $9.49 so I took the salt and my receipt to the customer service desk. I was using hand sanitizer to clean the cigarette ashes off my hands as I mentioned maybe not allow employees to sit on the salt and smoke as it leaves things rather dirty. I began to tell the lady behind the desk why I was there and she proceeded to talk to the girl next to her under her breath about how they're was no sign and how rude I was to suggest the employees smoke elsewhere. - and a few other things I'm sure she doesn't think I heard her say. A little tip for her - just bc you're not moving your mouth does not mean I cannot hear you. How about save the comments for later when I'm not standing there in front of you and maybe tell the employees not to smoke while sitting on the products they're selling. Extremely poor display of customer service.

I ordered a cake last week for my daughter's birthday party this Saturday. I got a call this morning informing me that they didn't have the icing I wanted on the cake. They should have the supplies they need especially something basic like icing. I worked in the bakery at Kroger in Peru and the bakery manager made sure we had more than enough in case of last minute orders.Another failure for the bakery! My husband went to order 6 cupcakes for tomorrow and they can't do it because they need 48 hours notice . They couldn't do 6 cupcakes that takes about 10 minutes in 24 hours. Luckily Meijer bakery stepped up and was able to.

We love shopping here, Better prices, Lower prices than Walmart. Way better selection of Meat & Cheeses. 2nd best Selection of Scottish & Irish Alcohol. Soupleys being #1 in Kokomo. Walmart can go out of business.

They effectively stolen $132 from my account. I might be forced to go to this kroger for convenience but I will never use their click list again. I have to wait 5 to 7 days for a authorization hole to clear but some how they still got thier money from my account.

I ran into a problem at the store and asked to speak to the manager. Aaron the store manager was not willing to work with me at all. All he managed to do was loose a customer. Remember when the customers came first? He doesn't!

I've been wanting to share this review for quite some time as I shopped here probably 10 times total over the past 5 years. The employees are rude and unfriendly, it is an outdated Kroger and by far the worst Kroger I've ever been to. Giving it 2 stars because it has a ghetto charm to it

Normally I would judge this store favorable. I never had issues with them before. Public shaming for forgetting to wear a face mask is UNACCEPTABLE customer service. Let your automated system say the words. But employees saying them "sarcastically" is just poor customer service and unacceptable behavior. I wear a mask 10 hours of my day. It was in my car and I forgot to wear it. I work in the health industry and know its importance. So this public shaming tactic was such poor customer service and these 2 employees on aisle 10, 11 or 12 (don't remember which but they were the only aisle open at 9 pm) shouldn't have had that kind of behavior with a customer. I will not be returning to YOUR store. And if it is an emergency, I'd rather use self-checkout than to be publicly humiliated. Kroger should be mindful of the circumstances which could distract their customers and remember they are human beings.

The staff is always helpful and if you can't find something on the shelves they will check to see if they have it in the back. The only thing I don't like is they never have enough register's open that have an actual person running. If I have to scan my own groceries I should get some sort of discount.

Not the most up to date kroger in the chain... kind of small compared to many others i have been in. The entry way is a bit cramped.The store over all seemed to be very busy.The checkout staff always seems to do a fine job and are generally pleasant.It is the most affordable grocery shopping option that is closest to our house.

I always loved krogers sandwich spread in the deli but the last two times I got it there are chunks of meat in it. Someone is not grinding the meat good at all

Their self checkout charged me twice plus an additional $3.50 for a $16.03 purchase. I went back to the help desk and they told me I had to wait 48 hours to get my refund. I waited 5 days to give them the benefit of the doubt. I went in today and they still are giving me the runaround!!!😠 I would give them no stars if possible. Worse customer service ever!!!!! I ended up paying almost $60 for a $16.03 purchase!

Usually visit the Kroger on the west side of town (on Dixon and Jefferson) but decided to stop at this one for a few things while I was already out… BIG MISTAKE. Staff is unknowledgeable about product location and are not very willing to help. Had to go up to a few different employees before I got the help I needed.I do love their fuel point system though! 😍 My favorite place to get gas from, always the cheapest prices IMO

Decent store; smaller than some Kroger/Smith's I've been in but still has all the same products the larger ones do. Could use a different layout in the parking lot but in general no actual complaints. I will say currently they're I need of more staff. We wanted a specific milk but no one was in the back of the store to help us.

I recently placed an order for grocery pick up, and there was a slight mix up on two of my items. I called in when I got home and noticed. Shortly afterwards, the manager, Brandy, called me back. She was so apologetic and even offered to bring the correct item to me. I explained that I could come by and get it after work. I was promptly and kindly greeted and the correct item was brought out to me right away. I was so impressed with how she handled the situation that I couldn't help but write a review! Thank you!!!

The cashier was very professional but when it came to the bagger he was not professional made not very appropriate jokes criticized me for wanting certain things double bagged. Then said "god you cant take a joke? It made me feel belittled and very unheard about how I wanted my stuff bagged. The poor cashier saw that I was very uncomfortable with this and she tried to get the bagger to focus on his job and a lot less on his unwanted unprofessional jokes.

Each time I've been there I've not had to ask for assistance as the HAPPY employees beat me to it without being bothersome. Though the overall selection of brands is somewhat limited they are never out of a regularly carried item, whereas for FOUR whopping weeks in a row Walmart was OUT of hamburger... wth?! The Kroger burger is always in stock, it seems, and smells nice. This location has been clean and well stocked each time I've visited, and I will be back!
