Went to the Washington Family Dollar with my grandmother and they had a new employee there that just seemed off. Firstly we got up to the register and a phone started ringing, I knew it was the store phone. She looked at my grandmother and in a very almost hostile way told my grandmother to answer her phone and asking "are you going to answer your phone?" Until she realized and I told her it wasn't her phone but the store phone. Then as she handed my grandmother her change(my grandmother did not see how much her items were but I did) my grandmother asked "that's it?" as she looked at me. I told her yes because her entire total was $19.05 and she gave the girl a $20 so she got 95 cents back. The girl seemed annoyed at the fact my grandmother was just a little confused by her change and very coldly said that she gave her a $20 so her change was 95 cents. Then we left. I have never had an issue with an employee here before but for some reason this new girl just seems unfriendly.

Large variety of just about anything. The employees are nice at the register. Although the store itself is extremely filthy. The floors, counters and unorganized. I would never buy food there due to the filthy floors and counters. However, I did look at a bag of Lays potatoe chips and they had expired on May 1st 2020. 😞 The entrance doors are even filthy. It really needs a good cleaning, especially with your competition ( Dollar General) just a few blocks away. And a better display when you enter the store.

I'm tired of Going there and it be closed during they daytime. I just went there and there is a note on the door saying CLOSED BE BACK IN 20 MINUTES. WHAT THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH EMPLOYEES TO STAY OPEN. IM DONE SHOPPING THERE THEY LOST MY BUSINESS.

The customer service is terrible at the registers; As a customer, you routinely get ignored by the cashiers in favor of cross talk and their cell phones. The store is always a wreck with unshelved merchandise on carts blocking the already crowded aisleways. If there was literally any other option within walking distance I wouldn't spend another cent in this store.

Very Friendly Employees and Very Knowledgeable about everything in the store. They had the aisles rearranged so it's easier and more convenient to look for everything

Store looks much improved since they remodeled it. However, I was a little surprised at their number of "outs" during a grand re-opening. Still an enjoyable visit

I was calling around looking for a lamp oil. I called several other non Family Dollar stores and didn't get much help or even care. I called the N. Washington and the gals working did a great job. I asked about the oil and one went back to make sure it was there and even brought it up front to the counter and had it waiting for me when I came in. It was Thursday evening around 6pm. on 1/12/2017. Those two women working are top notch. You should do your best to keep them there working for you. Thank you Family Dollar for a great shopping experience.

Staff welcomed me. Shelving was stocked well.Larges selection of good to choose from.A bit dated but the seem to be working on that.

The cash register people accused me of switching tags then wanted me to go look and check if any others are marked. 💯 ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEWILL NOT BE BACK & SHARING THIS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Just made a purchase, while still at register, after paying I realized price was not what I thought I was paying....asked for a refund they would not give me a refund. So I am stuck with a purchase that cost me three times what I thought I was paying.

The store was crowded with carts and stocking items and the clerks had very little knowledge about prices and where that things were. Store was not that clean in spots there was something sticky

This location needs serious help, it always appears dirty and cluttered. Shelves we're blocked with shipment arrivals so you couldn't get to items.

Never have the things I need in stock, the cashier is an absolute sweetheart, the stock problems are mainly from the independent distributars like 7-UP etc
