This a Dollar Tree plus store and for the first month or so after the changeover it was great but now it’s back to this nonsense. There were also full carts like this in front of the freezers and all along the back wall blocking basically everything from eye level down.

It's 2:31 p.m. on March 9th 2024 I just got back from the store and witnessed a older female blonde cashier with glasses who is skinny not only cursing at guests who include a minor, but they were snatching money out of guest hands and refusing to take their payment. They wouldn't take the child's money.

I was having a real bad day, and went into kokomo by Applebee's Dollar tree. I have blood sugar issues and also was going through a medicine change which made me pretty iritable. I apologize for my edginess. Before I came into this store, I had crossed 31 and southway and this panhandle guy stared me down. Ughhhh. I have had black guys follow me around and white guys. This black guy put a shirt on and came into Dollar tree and followed me for a short time. This is infuriating, to me which didn't help my attitude. So when the manager walked by and scrutinized me I felt like I was being followed again. I do not steal. If I was rude it was due to the afore mentioned things happening, U can check my purse out anytime...I don't steal. I am proud to be a part of the solution to these issues...not the cause! Since then I went to other Dollar tree and a cop was in the parking lot. Really? A manager came and spoke to me at Krogers few days ago. I don't steal. Please don't be so eager to judge an attitude. People nowadays go through a lot. I love Dollar tree. (Until this happened. )Diana Giesecke- Kokomo

You seriously have the former manager of the pet store, which got closed down for bad conditions and animal abuse, working as a manager here? The guy is scum. Over heard an employee say they are leaving because scummy dude manager screams at them and it affects medical conditions they haveHOW SHAMEFUL to hire someone who's already scum from mistreating animals to come over and mistreat people! I won't be shopping there and I'll make sure to spread the word that your company hires animal abusers! GET A BETTER MANAGER, NOT ONE THAT HAD HIS STORE SHUT DOWN BECAUSE HE'S AN ANIMAL ABUSER!

I recently visited both of the Kokomo Dollar Tree stores and it was a good experience. I was shopping for toys little kids for our Parents Night Out at church. We’re playing bingo with the kids and needed a good variety fun prizes for kids at affordable prices. Dollar Tree definitely came through. While I was shopping I also stocked up on some food items for our church’s food pantry. Again, a good selection at low prices.

The best Dollar store in town. You can tell the crew is working hard after re-opening. They are also doing it with a friendly and helpful attitude. They never act like your an inconvenience. The shelves are filling up daily and the managers are on the floor stocking and cleaning. You can tell the crew are a real team.

There was one guy in register! And at least 3 other employees in the store and no one else even tried to get on register.. my family waited 30 minutes in line.. we ended up leaving without anything. While 3 or more other people left as well.. the costumer service was not available… 🙄😔

I understand no returns for cash but when your checking out and they run your card and then till you they won’t stop the transaction because you didn’t want to have to return things you don’t want! I was still at the register checking out and the lady laughed and said good luck! Rude and Ridiculous. Some ppl actually work for there income. I just can’t understand how this is ok. Why treat ppl like that? Inappropriate and very immature. The manager was very nice and asked when I bought them, I said right now like literally now, she said that the cashier should not of processed my card but said there’s nothing she can do now! Ugh. 40 bucks gone. Thank you Clarissa at dollar tree fir being so bad at your job.

For the Most part a great experience. I found some great items I need for myself and my house hold. The only off putting situation was the female at the register. She was very friendly but she kept pulling down her mask to LICK her fingers to open the bags. I saw her do this multiple times while I was in line and even to open my bags. This is just completely unsanitary and gross especially with or without Covid going on. I love the dollar tree and will go back but please talk to this employee. She did not have a name tag but I can tell you today's date and time. 11/10 @ 2:50pm. Thank you.

Kinda disappointed that they raised the price of everything to at least 1.25 I realize that .25 cents isn't much for most but the reason I shop here instead of anywhere else is because the prices were 1.00 and now you have to take into account that extra little bit more, aside from that problem the products are not too bad and not as watered down as dollar store cleaners the scent pebbles for laundry smells amazing and I like to use them the prices of mops and brooms are good and unlike any where else they are interchangeable so you can get a handle and 2 mop heads and a broom and a few dust attachments instead of having to buy a whole new mop and handle when they get wore out dishes are really nice too I wish they had a bigger variety of dog toys but wonderful selection of treats for dogs also they need a bigger variety of baby items that would be great

Just shopped here today for a birthday on a VERY limited budget. The cashier did not get all the stuff scanned from the person in front of me, then added it to my purchase. I did not catch it until the transaction was complete, the asst manager refused to give me my money back on a purchase that I did not want. She then brought a dollar and change only after I raised my voice and demanded the money they stole from me on a unapproved purchase. She tried to make me the bad guy! The people behind me in line applauded me for getting my money back.12 people in line, the manager just wondering around. She NEVER opens another register now 6 more people behind me!!!

I had a big order to fill and for the most part I found everything I needed. Also found alot of really cute seasonal crafting and fall decor. No one was wearing a mask but me and the cashier was not the friendliest but the manager was great.

This store seemed to be doing a pretty good job; is always really busy.It was clean enough for the most part but some days not so much.Staff was alright but you can tell they are understaffed.I'll be back I'm sure.

Actually I give them -5 stars. There were over 20 people in line with only one cashier. Boxes every where and shelves empty. I left had babies in car with mom, probably would have been in line for 45 minutes

The lady at the register was a older person. I guess she just can't handle the pressure of working. She was very snappy and rude!!! I only had a 100 dollar bill and she said she couldn't make change after I was already rung up.. I have my granddaughter with me and had her go outside and ask my husband to see if he had something smaller. He had a 50$. She couldn't do that either.... My purchase was $13.67!!! 1st off this is Christmas time and people will have bigger bills to spend.... My husband going nextdoor to your place and gets change for his $50 he has ( no problem by the way) so my granddaughter gives it to me, I'm standing and the end of the register.. She NEVER SAID A WORD to me... The lady she is ringing up SAYS I think she wants to talk to you, meaning ME... SHE says" I will have to ring it all up again!!! I said that's fine... So she never said anything more to me. But kept taking the next person in line... After 3 people I finally told my granddaughter to go get in line behind 2 more people. So our turn came and she just grabbed the bag rang it up again (never saying a word to me) gave her a $20 and the change, still nothing from her... I get my bag and SAY THANKS FOR BEING SO NICE HONEY...... NOTHING!!!!!

Two registers open today. Girl working at second Lane was very very slow and didn't seem to care how long everyone waited. Bought 12 glass candle holders, waited in line 25 minutes with two people ahead of us, wrapped our own items in newspaper and bagged while she watched us. Had we waited for her to do it, it would have taken another half hour, I'm sure. Guy cashier in other lane has probably gotten 8 or 9 people thru by the time she got three.

This dollar tree is always stocked and well organized. They have a large variety of items and even a decent sized cooler area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good job to all of them. 🙂

The most messy store I have ever been in and the rudest manager lady I have ever met.all I wanted was a couple boxes empty that were laying in the middle of the floor in the way anyway.You could not get a cart down any isle of the store and I heard many people complaining how terrible and messy this store was. I picked up a couple boxes and headed for the check out to ask if I may have these. The manager met me by the registers and proceeded to tell me that customers were not allowed to take any boxes from the store. in a very rude way. I placed the items I intended to purchase back. and I will never be back in the Kokomo Indiana Dollar Tree Ever!!! Thank goodness we have a great Dollar Tree in Frankfort with very friendly employees and very helpful. They put up items on the shelf and clean up the mess before they start other projects.........Kokomo , You are the worst store I have ever been into in my life.....

Great values great prices but are very much understaff sometimes only one checkout is open with a long line boxes in the middle of the aisles that need to be unpacked and put on the shelves but you can never find something that you bought one week and you go back the next week and they don't have it but my overall experience with the place I gave it four stars

The ceiling is caving in from water damage, most of the store is blocked off so you can barely get to anything you might need, AND they have employees still working directly under the areas where there's clear damage that has yet to be taken care of. Pieces of the ceiling are literally dangling as these employees clean up what's already fallen. It's been a week and the only improvement is that the store isn't retaining water like a swimming pool. I get that it's Dollar Tree, but you'd think they'd show more concern for their associates and customers safety and well being.

I would give 0 stars if I could. A customer was in severe pain in the store. I let the cashier know, who then directed me to the manager, Stacy. I let her know and asked if she had a chair or wheelchair. She glared at me and rudely said no! Then she said tell her to call 911. She looked at me like she was disgusted that I asked for help, like how dare I bother her. She said well all I can do is call an ambulance. I could not believe how UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE she was! Managers should care about customers. Another customer and myself stayed with woman until ambulance arrived. Then the manager brings a chair. Shame on her! She doesn't need to be a manger!!!

My job I love my job but at times we have long lines and can be stressful on a person and our customers we aim to please we try anyway and sometimes it's hard ..just wish we could get the help we need when needed.. and GD workers are hard to find but I appreciate the workers we do have and the patience that we can get from some of our costomers ...

Love going here and seeing what is new. You never know what they are going to have or how long they will have it. If you find it and like it, stock up. Literally the worst place to shop or even work at. There's always clutter everywhere. Management doesn't even properly train their employees. I have heard several accounts of employees quitting within the first week because of the severe lack of help or concern from management. Also, I called in to ask about Christmas ornaments, and all I got was the eardrum-piercing slam of the phone hitting the receiver.

Store was a mess. Apparently there had been a leak somewhere, leak was fixed but floor wasn't. A lot of the store was taped off and it smelled bad.
