I used to consider this location the 'ghetto' Dollar General but over the past several months my mind has changed. Do I prefer this location over the one on Markland or on the one on the corner of North & Washington? Honestly not, BUT.... The store is a lot more organized now days. And they always have what I need in stock, especially hair products for African American hair. A lot of other locations in Kokomo seem to never even get certain stuff in but I can always come here & find things that are sold out at other locations. Let's hope this review doesn't jinx that

I get my pop here because it's cheaper, but the store could be better organized. Also I was asked to leave my bag at the counter however purses and diaper bags were allowed in. I am disabled and carrying my medical supplies and medications in a bag is easier for me. So I found that a little upsetting.

Trashy, dirty, cashiers are rude. Stock carts all over most aslies. Trash and items laying on the floors for customer service to possibly fall on. Place needs shut down for a week and cleaned. See broken laundry baskets on the shelves. Asked for them to help move a stock carts lady said go to another store, I am on my phone. Will never go in there again

This has been my most-visited Dollar General since it was built. Shopping there after an 18 month period out-of-state, I was surprised by the expansion of the fresh and frozen foods section, as well as how much space was created with new, and rearranged shelving. Glad to see both crew and customers wearing masks, and observing distancing rules. I'm still close to this store in my new residence, and my friend's new Sunoco station is right across the street !

I love Dollar General. But this store is horrible! Their shelves are empty all the time. The merchandise is usually sitting on the floor in boxes so deep you can not get a cart down it. I have been in this store numerous times where complete aisles are blocked off with carts that have boxes stacked 8 feet high. I have also been in here on two occasions where the back fire exit has been blocked by serveral carts with boxes stacked 8 feet high.

This DG seems much smaller than most, aisles are tighter, but the selection and availability of items is extensive and the staff who work there are extremely helpful and friendly, they will stop what they are doing to go help find something. We visit this particular store once a week.

ive shopped here for years but lately the store is a disaster!! carts in aisles it is a mess! bad business practices! needs shut down for a week, cleaned and stocked! for two months I've gone to purchase cat litter and there is NONE!! TWO MONTHS???? ridiculous! manager needs fired!

They only had one person on register and didn't seem to know what they were doing while working. They let the line become overly long before fixing the problem and their aisles were crowded with products that hadn't been shelved yet, which I see quite often here.

Out of almost everything whenever I stop there (maybe once every two weeks) . Staff was friendly and seem to be always stocking, but almost everything I wanted to buy was out of stock. I was after wrapping paper, generic excedrin, and some seasonal items, but didn't get to purchase what I needed once again.

Visited the Morgan St store today. What a dysfunctional mess. I know, they have new products for the holidays and business is picking up as Christmas shopping has begun. However, there were boxes of new merchandise everywhere, and a lot of empty spots on shelves that needed filled. Saw several employees around, just not sure what they were accomplishing. Only one lonely soul at the registers. He was kind enough. Usually dont have this problem here, maybe just an off day. I'm sure it will get better .

Store is always cluttered and a mess. NEVER stocked with things I need. HOWEVER if the boxes that are always blocking the aisle actually got unpacked and put away on the shelves, then maybe the items I need would be available. Just a thought. There has been multiple times where either the door was locked during business hours with no sign at all giving an explanation as to why the door is locked, if they are coming back, taking a break, in the bathroom, quit their jobs, ect. Last time that happened, there was about 30 of us standing out in the parking lot for about 45 minutes until someone called a different manager and they showed up, went in, and said dude had a panic attack...hmm idk about that. Then I go there one night, does locked and a sign saying, closed till further notice..They seem to make up their own rules and just close the store down whenever they feel like it for whatever reason, which I find kind of crazy, knowing that's the only store we have on this end of town. If there's a problem and obviously THERE IS, we need NEW MANAGEMENT and NEW WORKERS for this store!!!!

There was NO room to get my motorized handicapped scooter through at least 50% of the store! The Isles are too close set, the clothes racks were so smooshed together that even my 8yr old grandson couldn't WALK between them without having hangers of clothing hitting BOTH sides of his face at the SAME TIME, and they had several isles completely blocked with boxes and boxes and boxes of merchandise that needed put up! Blocked to the point where, again, my grandson couldn't even squeeze around them! I left there and went straight to the Family Dollar! I will NEVER go back to this store!!! I wish I could've give a negative star rating; a 1 star rating was too good than this store deserves! I went there on 4/27/19 around 2pm.

Manager was very rude. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE. This is the closest one to my house and I will go out of my way so I never have to step foot in that store again. Family Dollar customer for now on!!! Also they are always out of stuff that I need. The manager Amy ( I think is her name) needs not to work in customer service.

Store was in shambles everything placed everywhere boxes all over the place one associate in the store horrible service customer service. Associate was out smoking a cigarette I had to wait 5 minutes just to get service just all all kinds of crazy once I got service it was okay and helped me find my product but not recommended but not something to brag about. There was one associate and product scattered everywhere.

First I want to say that if I was doing something wrong, I was unaware. I went in to the Morgan location this evening and spent close to $7 on snacks and was looking for mailing boxes so I could mail something out. They didn’t have what I needed. So after my purchase, I noticed they had these metal containers full of boxes. I parked beside them and was looking for one. I found one and I took it and started to leave. As I was approaching the end of the lot, a man in a black truck literally almost hit my car, to block me in so I couldn’t get away, and rudely asked me what I took. Accused me of dumpster diving. When I wasn’t even near the dumpsters. I asked if it was ok that I took the single box and he said the manager of the store was in the car with him and thought I was dumpster diving. My boyfriend is the manager of another retail store and he said he would have NEVER treated any individual in such a manner. It was scary. My child thought we were going to get hit. It was insulting accusing me of dumpster diving. And well, they really just lost a regular customer as I shopped there often since I live so close. If they didn’t want me to take the small box, they should have just kindly said so instead of treating me like a criminal.

It was a wreck. Could barley get through the isles due to crates boxes and totes everywhere. Even without them, the store was a disaster. Shelves all thrown together stuff tossed wherever. HUGE spider in one the totes they were selling! Majorityy of staff were not the friendliest.

Pot holes in the entrance and throughout parking lot... inside store was a complete mess... stuff still blocking isles that was there almost a week ago... I used to love going in that store but now that my tire got blown on the pot hole in the entrance and it also messed up my alignment I now have been waiting on corporate to get back to me on fixing my car I'm really getting upset with the way the store looks I don't think ill be making any more stops there... guess I will have to switch to a competitor

They had one item I needed and they had one item that I really don't fault them for not having. I use wrap around solar Shields and the last ones I bought were from Dollar General. Have been able to find him since but I'll keep looking

There is always products in the way, on the ground, in the box, not on shelves, in every single isle, in every store. This would seem to be a hazard. Maybe products should be stocked during closing hours, and not during open hours.

Older lady was new at checkout. Not as friendly as most clerks and seemed bothered and aggravated at couple ahead of us using food stamps. She wasn't able to keep a friendly smile and made derogatory comments about the transaction when they left.

They need to hire stockers to get those pallets out of the Isles so customers can shop. I can't stand going to the Dollar General and having pallets in the aisles and having to move a pallet out of the way so I can get what I'm looking for.
