I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD!!!!!! Visited today, 1 employee working. Quick trip in and to self checkout. Neither self checkout is taking cash despite one stating on a sign it does. The self checkout would not accept any electronic payment. I tried several cards, tap to pay via various phone payment methods, and even manual card entry. Each time the machine said "processing" then returned to "please swipe or insert card". Finally the one employee, a short Grey haired lady with glasses comes up. She refuses to cancel my order. Refused to ring me up at the register, even though i had cash to pay stating she was there to stock only and didn't have time. I will not return to this dollar general! Since it has been remodeled it is always a mess, can't get through isles, understaffed, and not clean. I understand remodeling and short staffing but this should never affect the way a customer is treated!!!!

Constantly closed at random times so the singular employee can take cigarette breaks. Half of them also take their cigarette breaks right next to the entrance, so you’re forced to walk through it to enter the building. Stock carts are constantly filling the entire isles, so you can’t even move them out of the way to get what you need (not that you should have to anyway).

One older female employee with black hair keeps smoking cigarettes directly next to the entrance. No way to avoid the smoke cloud. Frustrating for asthmatics or people with children. Also just rude in general. They also keep randomly closing at like 5 pm with no signs in the door or anything even saying that they’re closed. They just lock up and go I guess lol

The last couple years that I shopped there, they've been out of lots & lots & lots of stuff regularly & consistently. Went to a different DG, same problem. Bare shelves everywhere, in all different departments. Stopped going there completely. I'm amazed people continue to shop there.

I love this store. Most items for daily needs are sold here. Food, clothing, to, diapers, toiletries, and much more. Very reasonably priced items. Great for a quick shopping trip. Very friendly staff. Reasonable hours.

I like the dollar general stores, they always have what I need and the staff is very friendly. I must say things were cluttered and when they have clearance items, most of them are not marked. If they are not marked I will not waste my time. Keep up the good work.

Store is a bit "under-stocked" but selection is decent. Lines can be long and cashiers aren't the best with counting change nor being helpful sometimes. I paid with $10 bill and was given change for $20. Luckily, I went back in to give the excess to the cashier.

The employees were very nice, but the store didnt have very many items that I normally purchase at a dollar general. There were boxes all over the store and the store was quite a mess. Maybe they were changing seasonal items out and a truck just came in, I will try again another time maybe.

I was in a hurry and left my wallet there at the check out . Came back two hours later freaking out and the very sweet and honest Alysha the girl saved it for me ! She is an amazing employee who is trust worthy!!

I am so unhappy with this place!!! I bought my grandson a soccer ball here. The cashier set it somewhere other than on the sack trivet. I walked out without it. Why didn't she just put it in a sack??? It would have fit!!!Called back in there and they told me that I took it when I left. I had a 3 year old in one arm and a sack in the other. NO WAY!!!!!!!Their cashier said that my 3 year old even said, " Don't forget brother's ball". She can't even talk that clear!!! She's 3!!!!! 😵😵😵😡They are supposedly checking their camera and was supposed to be calling me back.Pretty damn sure they closed at ten!!!!!!Hope one of their employees kids enjoys my grandsons soccer ball!!!!!!!!!!!!I call BS!!!!! 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤

I like this store because it's close to my house. But lately they have had a hard time getting the shelves stocked because they are under staffed. The people are really helpful but they need to get more help.

Super friendly clerks and managers at Jefferson store. If lines get long they will open the other lane to ease congestion. Keep stock put away and aisles clwar.

When I was there the assistant manager (Annie) was doing her job and the other employee named Moose was yelling at the assistant manager and not doing his job, and I also witnessed a man in a red hoodie steal candy and I said something to the assistant manager (Annie) and she turned to Moose and asked him to go check he said "there is nothing I can do" even with the guy in the hoodie still in the store?. So that tells me as customer stealing is fine in this store and probably any Dollar General store,Then the last time I was there the same assistant manager was working and another female worker that was filling in, (because the assistant manager was by herself) the worker was the rudest person I have ever seen in retail, she was full of drama and bad mouthing every thing about dollar general and she didn't even have a name badge, she didn't even help the assistant manager help a customer that had an EBT card that failed 6 times, the assistant manager did what she could to help that man with no money, and the no name badge worker didn't even help the assistant manager take care of her line of customers that was backing up because of this man with the EBT card and had NO WAY OF PAYING FOR HIS MERCHANDISE. I will not ever go to another Dollar General store again. Hello Walmart I'm back.... and I will tell every one how bad Dollar general had become, and what I witnessed.

Store was cluttered couldn't get down isles why are all the dollar generals like this? Everyone I have been in is a pain to get around in. Then one cashier so you wait in line 20 to check out with 2 items!!! Awful experience s

I go to this dollar store about once a week or more! Very helpful staff! And they have a lot of things so you don't have to go into kroger or Walmart .
