EDIT: As you can read in the owner’s reply, she totally ignored addressing their rude, condescending and unprofessional actions and attitudes since she and Shelly know that is true. As you can also see, I did NOT have shave my dog to the skin to deal with “all the matting.” 🤣 Again, I wouldn’t trust these people as far as you could throw them. If a groomer treats a pet parent that way, how do you think they treat your dog when you’re not around? That is why I took both of my dogs from their “care” as well. Best wishes, as your business, lack of knowledge, falsehoods and attitudes wouldn’t last a second outside of Kokomo in a real city or suburb of Indianapolis.Chasity and Shelly are very rude and condescending. Worst groomers I’ve ever had to deal with. They need to be educated on what “matting” and a few “tangles” really are. They should refer to their OWN website! Not going to put up with their snooty attitudes, lies, and know-it-all demeanor. I have a grooming background myself so they can’t pull the wool over my eyes. Took my dogs, then left after 5 mins of nasty comments, treatment and remarks. Won’t be back and definitely won’t recommend.

Tracie did so good with my little baby! She was so gentle and made me aware she wouldn't force my puppy to do anything she didn't want. It was her first time ever getting a cut and it looks so good! Will be back!

Boone and I were their very first customers. Actually, if I recall correctly, Boone stayed at "Always About Pets" the day before they opened. I was in a bind, called and the ladies were happy to help me out.Over the years, Boone has stayed dozens of times. And now, as we pull in the drive, his tail flies because he knows he's going to "Summer Camp" (on several occasions he's even jumped out the back window of my parked truck and ran for the front door!).Care has always been top-notch, the staff polite & very professional, and I never hesitate to bring Boone back. They have even taken care of Boone after he had orthopedic hip surgery and at my home.I'll continue to bring Boone to "Always About Pets," and I have recommended them often to many. I know they love and care for Boone as I do.

The staff is amazing and went above and beyond for our fur baby! We boarded her, as we have before. This time there was a major medical issue with our dog. They called us and rushed her to the vet. She is going to be ok, but if they hadn't recognized the seriousness of the issue, she may not be with us today. There are no words to express how much we appreciate their concern, compassion and immediate response. I would highly suggest you trust your fur babies with them! Thank you a thousand times over!

They were unbelievable. My sweet poodle looked amazing. Their prices were fantastic. First groomers that didn't smell. Exceptionally clean. Very honest and kind owners. Finally found our new groomers.

I was a long time customer with pet sitting, the last time I had them watch my pets was great, however when I went to pick up my keys, she handed me my keys and said "we're not pet sitting anymore, call this person instead." It was not Hope whom talked to me but her sister, and she couldn't have been more rude. I have patronized this business for many years and felt I deserved a better send off than that. Unfortunately, I will never use or recommend them again after that.

My great dane mix HATES getting her nails cut and it's always a big ordeal when we have to go in because she fights it. They were really great with her, kept her relatively calm, and were able to get it done quickly! I was VERY impressed.

Every time I've taken my animal there, they have called me saying she's too matted and it's just more humane to shave them. They obviously don't think I took the time to brush her before I came in which I did. Every time the price increased and the job was more poorly done then the last time. They claimed it took 2 hours to shave her that poorly. Which priced out to over 40$ an hour. Will never go back or recommend.

Excellent doge grooming and boarding! Very friendly staff! The only issue is it might be a week or two until you can bring your doge in for grooming since they have a busy schedule with other doges but it's worth the wait.

The entire staff will treat you like it’s their own pets. We have taken our 2 Yorkie’s for boarding and grooming for years. We need more than 5 stars! Wonderful place!

Owner curt and brash when talking to customers. Did not follow any instructions that I requested in grooming my dog. She totally ignored my wishes and groomed him how she wanted him to be. Everything I asked her NOT to do (such as, not to cut his tail at all) she did anyway and cut it very short! Needless to say, I was there once, have never been back and NEVER WILL!!
