I WAS WARNED!🚫My bernadoodle had two small sized mats I couldn't seem to comb out one under her collar one on hipI was assured during the consult that the groomer was definitely familiar with the bernadoodle breed. Completely reassured me this was not a problem. Specifics was to leave length on her ears legs and tail! It was January she loved to play in the snow!I returned to a complete hairless dog in middle of January. No fur on ears tail she was a rat!Friends showed me pics how they cut their Bernedoodle eye brow in half and it was bleeding.. but I had a friend that had a good report.. so I took my fur baby.She shivered forever!. The groomer NEVER CALLED TO ASK MY PERMISSION! Then asked if I wanted to bring my hairless dog back in for a groom in 4 weeks!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE!! They are rough! My Boston is a sweetheart & has never ever been aggressive. She's just sweet to everyone. When I returned to get my dog, she was bleeding lots of blood from her back leg & limping. They could not tell me what happened to her. They didn't try to stop the bleeding & it was almost pouring, not dripping. Then the owner way over charged me & never gave me an explanation or an apology for hurting my dog, who limped for a few weeks. My dog was shaking & scared. They did not care. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! Also very rude & kept asking if I wanted to tip 😤 WoW

We took our little dog here for her haircut and nails to get done. She likes to move a lot so we took her here instead of attempting at home.

Very poorly operated and dirty. Not kept clean and equipment very old. Owner gossips and talks bad about her students to each other. Does not teach well, basically just uses her students to do her dirty work. Bullies and mistreats her students and employees. I wouldn't take my pet here at all!

Very happy with the grooming on my 2 big dogs. One dog is ill and had a meltdown they called me and together, we finished the grooming. Really appreciated that they didn’t give up and they took the extra time.

They did wonderful with my sweet dog who is scared of strangers and also has dark nails which makes it hard to see the quick when clipping. They were quick and so good with my sweet girl:)

We took possession of an older dog with long matted hair and itching problems. I brought him here and they did their magic, bathing him in skin sensitive shampoo. I picked him up and actually thought they gave me the wrong dog! He looks and feels amazing. Definitely bringing him back every 6 weeks. Thank You, Special Touch Grooming!!

They were amazing!!! Our Great Pyrenees is disabled. She has Wobblers and has trouble walking on slick surfaces can't stand for long periods. Just finding someone willing to attempt to groom her was seemed impossible. Upon arrival they put her on a bedspread and pulled her to the back. They groomed her almost completely on the floor, except for her bath, and delivered her smiling, beautiful, clean, silly self back to us on the bedspread. She is content and show no signs of stress from her being there. We couldn't be happier!!!

I've been to a couple different groomers in town before I found them and Lilly never seemed to really like it..she's always the happiest puppy when I pick her up from here. They do an amazing job!! I attended A Special Touch Grooming and Academy. It is a wonderful school accustomed to each student's individual needs. Chris is an amazing instructor! I would recommend this school over any other. Even once you graduate, you can always go back for advice or to refresh your skills. The skills and friendships gained in this course are well worth the money paid. If you are serious about your success as a pet professional, your financial success follows. This was the best decision for my career path!! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I was thrilled to find A Special Touch Grooming! Christine has a standard poodle herself and does a great job with my Miss Bella. She knew immediately what I was looking for and I haven't been disappointed in the way Bella looks when I pick her up and they also don't keep her all day - they get her done so I can pick her up and she isn't cooped up all day. You guys are definitely the best!!!

Extremely unprofessional and treated my dogs with disrespect. They are constantly going through groomers and they do not listen to the dog owners when you inform them of certain circumstances. It's a disgrace and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We have been taking our labradoodles to Chris at Special Touch since 2012. She has been the best groomer and has taken wonderful care of them. I would highly recommend Special Touch to anyone looking for a groomer and friend for their pets.

I have had my dog for 4 years now and he has NEVER tried to bite anyone and as soon as this man yanks him off my lap and aggressively takes him back and he snips and tries to jump off the table should tell you your doing something wrong. So I take him to all gods creatures and she didn’t even have to restrain him. He sat in a chair while I petted him and clipped his nails in 2 minutes. We adopted our dog from the shelter and he was abused before we got him so I suggest if you have a dog that was abused before do not take them to his groomer because they do not use a gentle touch they are aggressive and assertive to a dog who just needed to know that you weren’t going to hurt him and instead they ripped him from my lap (which in his eyes is already a bad sign) and then carried him when he’s never met you before to try and clip his nails which he already doesn’t like. I suggest a little more training. The lady at All God’s Creatures was kind and gentle and he did fine. So like I said I wouldn’t suggest taking your dog to this groomer if your dog is a little skiddish.

I had so much fun and learned so much taking the dog grooming class. I highly recommend getting your dog groomed here and if you would like to learn the trade, this is the place to learn. Chris, Rachel and Felicity are the best!!!!

Do NOT take a long haired dog to this place. one Star is one too manyI took my GSD to them and requested a "potty shave" (trimming the hair between her rear legs). They SHAVED her completely from just below her collar to the base of her tail!!! She was so traumatized that she was sick for two days.It never has grown back normally. so thanks A special touch for ruining my dog's coat

I took my dog Lilly in looking like shaggy mutt & told them she should look like a schnauzer. They did an excellent job except for her tail. (I apologize but I forgot to take before & after photos)

Took my dogs in for a nail trim and found out there was an afternoon appointment open for a grooming. Rachel was extremely helpful explaining about the nails and the grooming need of my golden retriever. Will go back for all grooming needs.
