Cleanest Dollar General I have ever seen. Staff is amazing. Good selection. Prices are competitive. Only issue is they could use another hundred square feet to make the store better handicapped accessible.

Store has potential, although it's safe to say a few new employees may make this store a better place. Replacing the main manager for starters, Jennifer I believe her name is... She is soooo beyond miserable and sure hates to see anyone get a deal, but in actuality she makes it more enjoyable to find deals in that store.😁😆Edit: Manager of this store is still a joke. 🙂

It is a brand new store! Been there 2 times. First time a week after they opened, I was just is histatic over the new store! Larger store, really clean, fresh veggies & fruit! Then I came in a week later, stuff that needs to be stocked o the shelves we're still in the boxes blocking isles! Then went down the toy isle& stuff on floor again! I think they need more people to work in the store!!!! I shop at Dollar general store a lot! I don't like messy!! Good luck!

I nearly always find what I need. It's a small store but they have a lot in there and they always keep it so nice and organized. The employees are always friendly too; even on the days I can tell they're tired they're always friendly. They work very hard in there and I appreciate them.

It's my go to store. Have everything from clothes to shoes to toys to snack's to enough food to put together a meal. Everyone that works there are always so kind and helpful. I do adult coloring they have the greatest coloring books for cheap price's.

The only good place to shop for groceries in the area. Prices are cheaper than anyone else in knightstown. The store is clean and the staff is very friendly. I do believe sometimes there should be some more staff though, there’s been times where lines are extremely long due to understaffing. For sure still one of the better dollar generals out there.

Very disorganized and not enough staff,the line was almost 15 min long. Register kept messing up and the clerk didn't know how to fix it. Alot of items were laying on the floor and in disarray. Bathroom was filthy and very unsanitary. Items that I was looking for were out of stock. I feel this place could be in better circumstances with different mamagement

Always awesome and friendly employees!! Jennifer and Ernie are so polite and anytime ive needed help looking for something, they would look with me or take me to where ever the item is located. Had a bad experience a year or 2 ago but ive noticed that lady is no longer there, so ive got nothing but positive feedback.

It works in the country where there are few other options, and there are some values, but overall this place makes you think it's a discount store but in fact is outrageously overpriced. When compared to big box shopping and even grocery stores, many items here can be 20% or more in terms of price per unit. It's a shame, because DG can be the only option in rural areas where people need value. Their trinkets and free-market stuff is cheap (and inexpensive), but they more than get you on necessities and perishables. Kinda feels underhanded.

The ladies are ALWAYS very pleasant. When you live in a small town you don't have a lot of opportunity to go somewhere else. It helps when you do go that it's a good experience.

Dollar General actually charges more than Walmart does now on a lot of items and the Dollar General in Knightstown is constantly in a wreck for at least two days a week when their truck comes in the aisles are completely blocked so if you need to get in there to get anything you have to move the carts yourself and squeeze through so if there's anybody that's handicapped or heavy set forget going there at least two days a week because nobody's going to be able to get through there the place is a wreck

It was early morning when I visited. Unfortunately, it was also the time they were trying to stock the aisles. I felt I was constantly in the way of the workers trying to put stock up on the shelves. I was unable to get to items that I wanted to purchase because of the carts being in the way.

Sometimes long line ! Because they have someone stocking and they rarely come up to help check outs by opening the other register . Jennifer , Kathy are very helpful . It’s only certain staff and certain times of the day that you’d like to Avoid .

Only place in town to get basic items. No meat but, lunchmeat. Knightstown needs a nice little grocery store, they have the need for some elderly and disabled persons.
