It is a convenient place to pick up that one thing you need but don't want to drive into town. There is also a surprisingly wide range of products you may not find at bigger venues. Overall, a favorite place to go when you need cream for your coffee.

This store is a great asset to this town. Most or all of the staple items can be bought here and it's not particularly expensive. Very reasonable when considering convenience. Pretty wide selection of products as well. I have noticed repeatedly an employee parked in the handicap parking without a placard or HC license plate though. The store is usually pretty clean but sometimes seems crowded with small aisles. The staff cleans the counters after customers which is nice, though they don't seem to enforce the mask policy.

Although their per-product variety (brand, size, flavor, etc.) isn't as extensive as their larger competitors, DG does a great job of optimizing the shelf space they have available. You'll usually find a space for at least one brand/type of just about any grocery or home/personal care item you'll ever need (with fresh produce being the only exception). The store is clean, the staff is friendly, the prices are indeed low and checkout is fast (I've never been more than third in line, and even that happened only once). My only criticism is with their inventory management as there does tend to be a relatively high number of out of stock items around the end of the week. Having said that, I've never seen DG (at last this one in Kirklin) run out of any pandemic related items – even TP!

I visit Dollar General approximately once a day for either small runs, or sometimes for larger grocery lists or household items I need. They need to focus on keeping more items stocked up. I suggest finding new stockers and there's a certain manager there that is very rude. There are no true groceries just basically frozen food and chips. Nonetheless, it's the only store in my town so I have to make trips there for necessities.

Your posted hours state that you open at 8 am, I have tried shopping multiple times from 8:05- 8:15 and the doors are locked with employee vehicles in the lot. If you are not going to open the doors at 8 am please change your posted hours.

Good product at a good price my only issue is it's getting harder to find Dollar Generals open because they either don't have enough employees or their air conditioner is not working at least between Bargersville and Trafalgar

Just hope it stays the way it is, where you can shop up and down every aisle without the clutter or aisles being blocked by merchandise carts waiting to be stocked on shelves!
