We enjoyed staying at Kimmell House. The accommodations were excellent. It was nice and quiet which allowed us to relax. The breakfasts were wonderful. My wife is vegetarian and the owners were very willing to accommodate her dietary requests. The room was very comfortable and beautifully adorned with lovely pictures and furniture. Walking around outside is very enjoyable with the landscaping, porch and gazebo. We will be back!

Amazing stay. Nice, quiet, relaxing. I have never experienced a BB before and I will definitely do it again in the near future. We stayed here for my birthday getaway and when we arrived there were flowers, cupcakes and cookies. I appreciate the little things my bf and the owners did to make my weekend as great as it was. Thinking about staying here? Do it, you won't regret it!

I absolutely LOVED my stay at the Kimmel house. The rooms are so cozy and have a historical feel to them. The Jazuzzi tub in the Charub room was incredible. The best part though, was the incredible service from Deb and Dean. They were both so welcoming and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay there was nothing short of incredible. Breakfast was delicious and the tea/coffee menu was vast. I will definitely be back.

The beds were super comfy. It is a gorgeous house! I reserved a room online for my parents to stay & they had a wonderful time talking with the owners. I met them for breakfast & it was easy to pay for another meal. GREAT FIND!

We went for our 5 year anniversary and had a wonderful time. Beautiful home, service was fantastic and the food was great. Highly recommend staying here for a fun and romantic getaway. Can’t wait to celebrate our next anniversary here.Pictures are from the Cherub room and welcome reception, It was the snack upgrade with tea.

Have been going here for years. Today we had such a great lunch! Great setting and atmosphere. We had tomato bisque and sandwiches. Husband got breakfast. Don't leave without getting a scone with clotted cream... We all went away happy and will be back soon!

We loved our time at Kimmell House. Beautiful grounds and house! The bed was wonderfully comfortable and our room was lovely. They went above and beyond with extra comforts and treats. Breakfast both days was delicious and homemade from scratch, absolutely loved it. We had a wonderful weekend, and we are so thankful we found this gem of a B&B.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Kimmel House B&B. They baked a small cake for us and had fresh flowers in our room. The victorian tea in the afternoon was a special way to add to our weekend.Breakfast both days was delicious and plentiful.We had a wonderful time and appreciate the owners making our anniversary one to remember.

Gracey is the best cook. Our breakfast was very good. We stayed at the cottage in back. Very clean and adorable inside. Beautiful area, lots of farms. We were out in the country. Unfortunately we had to leave earlier then planned. Our son whom was babysitting our dog, got hurt. The main house is gorgeous inside. We did get a chance to stop at the Windmill.museum in Kendallville.

Here are 7 of the reasons my wife and I LOVED staying here for 3 days! :1. The people and their loving hospitality as shown through all the small details they put attention into such as a surprise dessert snack waiting for you in the evening2. Dean and his big heart for people. After the DELICIOUS breakfasts made byhim and his family, we would often find ourselves in great conversations3. Supplies for in room, evening tea parties4. Very cozy room!5. We love sitting by fireplaces, and they were excited to let us sit by them - what a treat!6. We found some great antique malls and places to eat nearby such as Shipshewanna and Goshen and many other stops between these places7. The history of the house and quaint atmosphere has been delicately preserved and even enhanced because the Stoops Family are not primarily running a business, but doing what they love which is serving people ☺️We can't wait to visit again!

Go here once a year with my mom, sister, daughter and nieces for tea and lunch. It’s such a cute little place. Very warm and inviting. Ladies are great cooks and bakers. Scones unbelievable!

Great place. Beautiful structure. The owners are great people. Wife and i stayed recently. Unfortunately our visit was cut short. I cant wait to go back and get to know the owners better. I highly recomend a night stay here if you are a victorian lover. Well worth it.
